  1. It would be nice if recurring donors could login or follow a link in their monthly receipt email that would allow them to edit or cancel their recurring donations instead of having to call our office to make any changes or stop their donations.

  2. We like the new donation buckets. However, we realized today that unposted donations are appearing in the "Receipt" bucket. This is problematic as we may still be reviewing entered donations and another staff member sees things in the Receipt bucket thinking they need to process receipts when in reality the donations have not even been posted yet. Donations should MOVE to the receipt bucket just as they do to the POSTED bucket.

  4. The option to email tax receipts directly from a donation does not provide a customization option that you can save, you have to edit the text that will be in the subject and body of the email each time. This is very time consuming if you are sending out multiple receipts and want a more personalized email to accompany the tax receipt.

  5. Would make such a difference if we could make the mini edits we often need to do in a letter (to personalize, make a small correction, etc.) right in the platform. Downloading to word in order to make the edits and then being left with no record of the actual letter sent unless we re-upload it to just an attached file just adds to the clicks and time to do the task.

  6. Hello,

    We are facing a new situation and have devised some workaround, but we would like to request a bit more flexibility within CSuite to handle this.

    The short of this request is to give us a little more control over the “auto tax receipt” which currently “sends an automatic email receipt to your online and recurring donors.” We would like the ability to turn this automated email receipt OFF on a per-donor basis. Overall, it is great to be automated, but we have come across a situation where it isn’t.

  7. Trying to create a custom report that has both total amount contributed, broken out by tax deductible and non-deductible. This field is available in our tax receipt, but I can't pull it into a custom report. I've been advised to pull a donation report and an invoice report...which is a pain.

  8. When sending a Tax Receipt via Email, it would be helpful for the date in the "Attached is the tax receipt for your donation on _____" to populate the donation date. It currently says today's date instead of the date that the donation was made.

  9. Recently we held an event in which various organizations sponsored; a few requested they be issued an invoice before payment for their sponsorship could be processed. CSuite has the ability to create invoices and add payments but does not offer the ability to produce a receipt.

    It would be useful if once payment has been processed on an invoice, we had the option to produce a "Confirmation Receipt" to indicate payment has been received in full.

  10. Currently once a tax receipt is marked as sent there is no option to mark as unsent, if you accidently click sent then it does not allow you to include that donation in the bulk process. Instead of using the bulk process you must go into the individual donation and populate an individual tax receipt, this is time consuming and can cause missing a tax receipt.

  11. Mailing labels in Word format - not PDF - it would be great to able to edit mailing labels should the need arise, but also to change the position on the sheet to better utilize the leftover labels. With the PDF you are "stuck" with a starting at the top (yes you can rotate the sheet if an option) but you can not adjust for printer variances for alignment, etc. It is a pain to have to recreate it in a Word document when other functions (receipts) can be export directly into Word.

  12. cSuite really needs the functionality to print mailing labels that correspond to Printed Yearly tax receipt jobs. Currently, there is no such functionality and you have to go and manually recreate a spreadsheet that matches the receipt job PDF of hundreds of receipts....

  13. Hi, We have a variety of donations from Individuals, households, DAF, and grants. The salutation field works when the donations advisor is blank but not working when the donation advisor is not blank; Unfortunately, the salutation pulls the donor name salutation instead of the donation advisor. Is it possible to be fixed if it is a glitch? If not, is it possible to have a field for the donation advisor to do a formula when it is blank we pull salutation if not we pull the donation advisor name.

  14. It would be very helpful if the fund beneficiary description was added as a field in the check templates.

    We have an annual COE event where we present distribution checks to each organization with endowment funds. We want to use the grant letter on the check template and we need the fund beneficiary description to be available as a template field. Without that field being available we can only rely on using a custom field, and even with that we have to find a way to associate those descriptions to the grants we create.

  15. When you select 'email tax receipt', in a bulk process it would be nice if the donations with an email would be sent and the donations that do not have an email address would sit out there as not sent. Then we could print those and send them.

  16. Could you change the merge fields to have more continuity between templates?

    For example, to merge the Fund Name on a Tax Receipt, we have to type {{FundName}} whereas to merge the Fund Name on a Tribute Letter, we plug in {{FunitName}}.

    Also, in the tribute letter, we have to include the {{#foreach memorial}} & {{/foreach memorial}} to call that template. Then we also have to include the {{#foreach donation}} & {{/foreach donation}} expressions around the certain merge fields for those to work properly.

  18. Be able to code donors who do not want to receive tax receipts. There's currently no way to code a donor profile to not receive tax receipts.

  19. When you create a letter template, you can assign the funds by "group". However when you add a new fund to that group, it doesn't automatically assign it to the letter template. You have to go in and add it manually. It would great, and make so much more sense, if the funds were assigned by group, then if a new fund is added to that group, it should automatically pull into that letter template so that we didn't have to remember to add it manually.

  20. We have a community member who set up a donation through "amazon smile" to come to us on a monthly basis. We do not need to issue a tax receipt, but would like the option to set up a custom tax receipt letter as more of a thank you to the community member who set this up anytime a donation comes in. To do this we have to remember each time this particular donation is made to select the tax receipt (thank you) template. I would like to see a way that I could set up a specific tax receipt…
