Would be nice to be able to enter an address with only the city, state, zip.
I have a vendor with just that info for an address but the system won't save it without an address line. Allow Deletion of Profile that was once a Fund Advisor
I have experienced this twice now... I am trying to delete a profile that has no connections preventing the deletion except the profile is a Fund Advisor. In each case, after deleting the Fund Advisor relationship, I am still unable to delete the profile.
The error message is "Unable to delete the profile because there are references to it elsewhere in the system. Please set to inactive instead."
Is this occurring because there is some residual data that remains in the Fund Advisor relationship (e.g., password)? If that is the problem, then CSuite should delete all information related to the…

Why is there not a column for duplicate addresses in the duplicate tab so that it is possible to merge them that way?

Csuite email log
Would be great to have a complete picture of all emails sent with the profile. If I send an award letter, that is only tracked/noted with the grant, not as an overall communication with the profile. That's not the best set up, as I think you'd want to see the full picture of any/all communications with a profile. Perhaps, since you have that capability in SLM to send and see status of emails (in rich text!) you could integrate in csuite as well.

Would like to be able to mark more than one email address on a profile as primary. Some would like anything we send them to go to both their home and work emails.

Profile Update: Need faster path between individual donor history and household donation history
With our migration to CSuite, nearly all donation history is assigned to the household but as donations are made online in CSuite, these new donations are usually saved to one of the individual profiles in the household.
In the old profiles design, it was a simple click to move between the household donations and the individual's donations.
In the new design, there does not appear to be an easy way to move from the individual donor to the household donations and back. Is there something we are missing???

Add Back Zoom to Profile Images
I appreciate the simplified process for adding pictures/images to a profile. I used to have the ability to zoom and reposition the image before making it final. That was especially helpful as we rely heavily on social media posts and other sources for our images. It's nice to crop and zoom to get the best image for that profile.
Please consider bringing back the zoom feature. Thank you!

Profile Fields - customize field names, order and hide unneeded fields
I'd REALLY like to be able to remove certain profile fields we don't use. I'd also like to be able to rename certain profile fields. Lastly, I'd like to change the order of some of the fields in profiles so the ones we use more can be at the top and the ones we do not use can move to the bottom.

Post Office Standards
The USPS has a standardized way of writing addresses, and CSuite does not adhere to it. The USPS does not use ANY punctuation in ANY United States address, but CSuite automatically puts a comma in between the city and state when you input a profile address. There is no way to turn off that function. I would love to see a way to stop the automatic comma insertion for those of us who want to standardize with the USPS.

Make it more clear where you are at in the profile (main profile, grantee, etc.)
Besides the ever-so-slightly bolded font for which designation you are looking at if you happen to be in the grantee, fund advisor, etc. record, it can be very hard to tell which record you are looking at. It would be clearer if "main profile" was also listed in the designation area and the selected designation was highlighted or made more prominent than just the bold text.

Permissions for every single Profile field!
Please offer the ability to set permissions on every single field in all Profile types, for both 'create' and 'edit.' In the same way Profile fields can now be designated as 'required,' can that logic be reversed to allow Admins to set permissions/access to each field according to group permissions? We have lots of staff creating and editing Profiles, and, DESPITE training (which is a lot of 'don't ever enter anything in that field!'), in those quiet moments when they are alone, staring into that bright, empty Profiles screen, they choose chaos.

Move the Parent/Child Org Relationship up closer to the relationship box
Could you please move the Parent/Child Org Relationship closer up. You have to scroll all the way to the bottom of the page on several of my profiles with the relationship. I have attached an example. There needs to be a better way of seeing of all the boxes with a profile. Is there a way to make the detail page as the main page and eliminate that box?

Prefix and Suffix dropdown field and table
I would really love to have the prefix and suffix be linked to a table and appear as a dropdown on the profile. This would prevent typos in entering those fields and the table could be loaded from the existing prefixes and suffixes.

Give us the option to add Orgs to Households. It's impossible to track a family's full giving without also rolling up what they've given from their businesses. The donor and the people are the ones driving those donations.

Archive Profiles
After 30 years of data, and years and years of it an inarguably sloppy mess, our database needs some sprucing up. We would like to 'file away' at least a decade's worth of single-gift donors that have never, ever, ever been heard from again. Would love a way to archive entire profiles from a custom report!
We don't to want to get rid of them (and obviously can't because of a financial transaction), but we also don't want them cluttering up search lists and mailing lists and reports etc on the regular.
11 votes5/3/2023: Profiles have a new a look with this enhancement. Foundant is excited to take so many of the User submitted ideas from idea lab and make them happen in the software. Our highest voted idea lab submission was the ability to identify the main profile data regardless of the designation.
The profile summary includes the information needed when working with constituents. The primary profile data will now be static at the top of the page regardless of the designation page that is being viewed. This summary includes an image, primary contact information, last donation date and pronouns. With this new layout there will be an icon next to the profiles name at the header. This will allow a User to easily identify an individual, household, or organization record. Images have also been added to the top header box for easy reference as well. It would be a nice boost to be able to add images of different shapes to our organization's profiles. A lot of our organizational fund holders like agency and project fund folks have logos that don't fit neatly into that perfect square or circle that is defined for that image space. For example, this agency is going to be launching a campaign to boost their fund here at our Foundation. I tried resizing the image but it won't work that way. Redefining that field to allow images of different shapes would probably be necessary. This would be especially helpful also…
