  1. It would be awesome if we could create our own address type. I understand there are several on the dropdown for business, home, etc. But it would be nice to create a separate address type if possible. We ACH our designated grants June 1st every year... but before sending them out we like to address them a letter/email to notify them of the ACH and see if they need to update their ACH information. I would like to be able to put an "ACH Address" on the profile when the address is different for the ACH vs. where we would…

    There is a current option to set your own address types.  In Profiles, select Profile Types from the left side menu.  You should then see an option to Add Address Type.  That allows you to add a new address type.  If you have further questions, please reach out to support.

  2. When you use the "print envelope" function from a profile, why does an inactive address come up as an option to print? Inactive addresses should not appear as an option.

    There is a label field available in the Fund Advisor Fund and Profile custom reports.  That is the field needed to return the mailing label text.

  5. Does anyone know why anytime you put in a new profile that it wants to sync it with GLM profiles. This sets up for more error on my end, since I don't have anything to do with GLM and takes more time with more steps. Am I the only one that feels this way, or is there a way to shut off this feature?

  6. It would be great if we could make profiles inactive from a report or list of profiles. We sent out a file to identify deceased persons. It's been a minute since that has been done and we received back more than 1200 as deceased. It's going to take quite a bit of time to manually touch every one of those profiles to mark them as, at the minimum, inactive. If inactivate was an option for bulk updates, that would be wonderful. It would need to be protected somehow so just everyone didn't have the ability to make mass profiles inactive.

    5/3/2023: Profiles have a new a look with this enhancement.  Foundant is excited to take so many of the User submitted ideas from idea lab and make them happen in the software.  Our highest voted idea lab submission was the ability to identify the main profile data regardless of the designation.

    The profile summary includes the information needed when working with constituents. The primary profile data will now be static at the top of the page regardless of the designation page that is being viewed.  This summary includes an image, primary contact information, last donation date and pronouns.  With this new layout there will be an icon next to the profiles name at the header.  This will allow a User to easily identify an individual, household, or organization record.   Images have also been added to the top header box for easy reference as well.   8. Absolutely love the profile look - hoping to see for Funds too! We use both the GLM and CSuite, so we need to option to sync to the GLM when creating in Csuite (option only - some profiles do not sync over). Our settings are set to search GLM on profile create, but it's not giving that option. The links are not working as well for those with links.

  9. In addition to attaching files, it would be nice if we could attach a profile picture. This would be helpful for board members, committee members, fund advisors, etc.

    There is currently an add image option in the left side menu when viewing a profile.  This will allow you to upload a picture.

  10. It would be wildly helpful if the last grant date was an option for reports on grantees. In other words, you could pull a profile report that would also tell you the last date that the profile received a grant.

    5/29/2024: Profiles: Enhanced the Profiles Bulk Update Names report to allow for updating Do Not Mail, Do Not Email, and Do No Call and the No Status Charity Check.  No Status Charity check will only apply to Grantee profiles.   

  12. It would be nice if we could just clear those profiles that we have marked "ignore" and not clear out the entire duplicate list. We have a huge duplicate list to get through after migration and it would be helpful to remove some of the highlighted "ignore" profiles to make the list more manageable.

  13. In organization profiles, when we grant monies using email notifications, the email listed is the primary POC who may not be the financial person. Since we can add multiple emails to the org profile, is it possible to add an option that has "pay" so that we can check that box for the financial representative and all payment/grant notifications go to that person instead? Similar to the address options.

    1. Jan Monthly release: There is now a single check work flow, reducing clicks for clients. With this workflow the checking account, check type, date, and memo line are all one page. This enhancement has reduced the number of steps needed process checks in batch. From accounts payable, select create checks from the left side menu. That will open a table for a User to select the bank account and payment type before filtering the check batch. This will filter the list to just that payment type set on the profile. If there isn’t a payment type on the profile, that vendor will process the payment as a check. From this screen, clients now have the ability to name their batches for easy reference. Memo lines have moved into the voucher, grant, scholarship workflow. We have also added grant and scholarship voucher filters to the accounts payable filters. This will still…
  14. It would be great if any changes made to a profiles "profile type" is time stamped and reportable via custom reports. Right now any changes also do not appear in the logs. We sometimes have donors which move from one profile type to another and we would like to capture this as part of our organisational reporting.

    There is an option on the left side menu of a profile to merge the profile.  You will then be given the option to enter the other named profile.  If you need assistance, please contact support.

  17. We use the mailchimp integration with CSuite and would love to have the ability to batch update the bounced emails as "Do not email." Currently these have to be done individually, which takes a lot of time when you have over 100 to do.

  18. Can we please add an option to select email type (home, business, personal, custom) in order to neatly organize a contact's various emails? This is extremely important to be able to communicate per a client's preferences. Many CRM's also allow a "custom type" where you can modify the type name. Thank you!

    Email is type is a customizable field.  Select Profile Types from the left side menu in Profiles.  A current email type can be edited by clicking into the ID.  You also have the ability to Add Email Types on the left side menu.  

  19. The system now ignores prefixes when specifying a search, which is great. So Mr. John Doe can be found by entering Doe, John. However, suffixes aren’t ignored. So Mr. John Doe Sr. has to be entered as Doe Sr., John. It would be great if suffixes could also be ignored on searches.

    From Summit 2024 Idea Lab Live - Profiles: Enhanced the search of profiles to not require the suffix when searching for profiles. This will allow users more search capabilities on profiles.

    There is a field in profile custom reports titiled Modified Ts.  This is the field needed to filter to a range of dates to review modified profiles.  Please contact Success if you have questions creating this report.
