Favorite Reports
It would be very convenient if you could mark a custom report as a "favorite" that would then appear at the top of the Reports screen in a "Favorite Reports" section for easy access.

Profile Fund Custom Report - Add Checklist to Filter on Profile Fund Category Name
On the Profile Fund Custom Report, we need the ability to filter the report based on more than one Profile Fund Category Name. Unless I'm missing something, it look likes this can only be done by filtering on the text field. Is there a way to add the LIST of Profile Fund Category Names to the filter option so that we can simply check the choices desired?
23 votesYou should be able to add Profund Cat Id to your report. Then when you filter use this same field to filter one..use the checkbox option to select the fund categories.

Schedule a report with a sliding date
The ability to schedule custom reports with a sliding date filter. For example: a weekly report of all donations that were received in the past week sent to our development team every Monday. Currently we have select the entire year and sort it by date to pull most recent to the top and then they have to ignore or delete the older grants. While this is functional the sliding date feature would be a tremendous improvement.
1 voteThere is currently an option to do this. Use the relative date filter. So for your use case, selective Relative last week and schedule the report to be emailed each Monday.

1099 report based on check date, not invoice date
Please correct the 1099 report to show totals based on payment date, not invoice date.
1 voteThe 1099 report is based on check date. If you see a different outcome than that, please contact support. I just tested this in my test site and it was populating the report correctly.

Custom Report ID
Report ID's for custom reporting should be listed next to a Custom Report Title for reference instead of having to close out reports to identify this information. This would allow for custom reports to stay open and active while discussing issues with CSuite Support Teams.
11 votesThe custom report id now shows on the custom report list. A description field was also added to allow the User to shed light on the reason/purpose of the report. This was released in May, 2023.

Relative Current and Prior Fields Should include Week
Please add "Week" as an option for the relative current and prior fields. We run several weekly reports and would love to have them automated.

Add Fund Steward to Donation Reports
We would like to be able to pull the Fund Steward's (staff) name into donation / donor reports so that we can filter reports based on the fund steward instead of the profile steward. This allows our staff to monitor donation activity for their set of funds.

There is no other way to get this information in CS ...we need it internally and our auditors specifically asked for and need it this year as they used it last year for their review of our funds

Add All Tabs to Fund Advisor Fund Custom Report
Currently, in the Fund Advisor Fund Custom Report, only a few of the tabs are available (Donation, Files, Grant, Grantcatalog, Grantrequest, Statement). Is it possible to add all tabs to this report?
That would include Pledges, Receipts, Voucher, Invoice, Split Interest.
This would be very helpful in our data validation process to confirm that the correct tabs were selected for each fund advisor.

Need full view of field names in custom reports
please adjust the way fields are listed/viewed in the custom reports when the name of the field is so long that we cannot tell what the field actually is.... in custom report Donations for example, the field listing is so long but you have to click on each field to add to the report in order to see what the field is.... very frustrating and time consuming. Thank you!
17 votesApril Monthly release 2023: Reports: Enhanced reporting to have the ability to create the columns first by using the edit option next current fields. When selecting creating the columns for your report, clients can select the all or none option at the top of section or multi-select columns to display. Columns selected will populate in the right hand column, set column order and can be sorted from this view. Once all the columns have been select, use the save button just below the search bar. reports such as donations or grants should have ability to select "all" instead of a year or quarter option.
Sometimes you are trying to find something and don't know what time period it may have either come in or been sent out. To see ALL activity for donor, vendor or grantee.

Notes/narrative field for Custom Reports
It would be very useful to have a narrative field for custom reports to communicate the utility of the report. We sometimes pile on filters that solve for quirky problems and it would be great to be able to indicate that on a report so that other users (or ourselves at a later date) can know how to use it.

Add Custom Report with ALL Fields
There are many times when I'm trying to pull a report, but can't get to various fields. It would be nice (and I would use this type of report A LOT) if there was an option to generate a report with all fields as options.

Electronic Filter for Check Custom Reports
Please add an option to the Custom Report "Check". We have a custom check register under this custom report. There are no filters or options to show the check was electronic or not. The check # is blank, but it would be nice to have an option to pick whether or not the check was electronic.... so it can show up on the report on why there was no check # with that payment.
8 votesA boolean yes/no electronic check field was added to the check custom report on 6/6/23. This can be added to your report to identify the electronic checks on your register.

Moving individual Custom Reports to new Categories
I'm so pleased that we have the ability to create our own Categories in Custom Reports to classify them in areas that make sense to our organization.
However, having to 'Save As' to access the Category menu is proving painful. I have to Save the report to the new category which leaves me with duplicate reports. I then have to go back and delete the report under the CSuite defined category.
Can you please allow us to edit the Category to move the report to complete the reclassification in one simple move?
1 voteThe is a Bulk Update option in the left side menu in Reports. This will populate a report list and allow you to add a description and update the categories without navigating one by one.

Custom Reports: save option
A SAVE button in Custom Reports so you don't have to reselect the Share box and select the name of the report from a drop down selection. This drop down selection is by name, the report listing is by report ID. A SAVE button in the report editing area would save a lot of time. Then the SAVE AS button if you want to rename it or not share or share.

Bulk Add Note
It would be great to have option to bulk Add Notes to profiles via a report. We've exported a large profile list and pulled 70 profiles from the list to mail a letter. It would be nice to have option to add note to those profiles.

check report
When creating a custom report to list uncleared checks, the options to filter for "cleared" are boolean as Yes or No, when in fact the data about checks is either Cleared="Yes" or Uncleared=blank. Thus there is no way to create report that produces a list of only uncleared checks. It's frustrating to have to export a larger report and filter in Excel to get what I need.
2 votesThe cleared check field in the check custom report was updated to return a yes/no answer. Here is the release note from 5/4/2023:

Add "Pay" email and "Pay" address fields to reporting options
The new "Pay" buttons for email and address are great, but we need the ability to report on them in Profiles and Custom Reports. Thank you!
