  1. It would be great if the system would allow a multifund internal grant. We often have multiple in house funds that we use for granting and we have to enter each as a 1:1 grant.

  2. With the new update, the readability between purple and blue is more difficult because new font. Would love for there to be a more distinct color change once something has been clicked on.

    Ex. When you first see a specific fund name, grant ID, etc. it will be blue. But once clicked on it will change to purple so you know what you have accessed previously.

  3. It would be great if a Fund Advisor had a "wish list" part of the Fund Advisor portal where they could record organizations they may want to make a grant to in the future.

  4. Description online Fundadvisor Grant Request - it would be helpful to change the field title of Description to Description of Grant Request. Fundadvisors are confused and insert description fo the Grantee and put notes about the grant at the bottom. The Description is what is carried through to the grant process

  5. I'd like to be able to enter a grant/check/donation id number at the verify/test stage in templates, like you are able to do in the fields list area of templates. It would be really helpful. Moreso even than the other way, bc don't we want to see how our letters will look with the type of record we are trying to match them to??

  6. This was posted last year from someone and I'm reposting because this drives me bonkers. Please consider an update for this.

    After you post and pay a grant, there is an editable description field in the transaction id. It would be great if you were able to enter a description that showed up in this field before you post/pay the grant.

    For example, an internal grant transfer shows a description as "internal grant transfer." I have to go into the trans id after the grant is paid to edit this description to reflect where the grant was paid from and…

  7. Our auditors wanted a list of all manual journal entries. I checked with Foundant who said you can't. If there was a source code field for all GL entries, such as FIMS' 2 digit journal key code, you could run reports of entries hitting the GL by source (gifts, grants, APs, fees, manual, etc.)

  8. I have a number of grants to post from one fund - all the same amount just to different grantees. If I copy the grant and then change the grantee, it would make sense for the database to automatically grant type and service area (in addition to other fields such as pay date). For now this it doesn't seem to save me any time to copy a grant unless I'm simply copying an old one from the same fund to the same grantee for the same purpose.

  9. For funds that have grants marked as anonymous allow an override on a specific grant. Fund holders occasionally want a grantee to know they have sent the grant, like to their church, but all other grants to be anonymous. Now we have to write their names on the check stubs so the organization knows who made the contribution.

  11. Website is not a field in the grant (catalog) import. When creating a grant request from the grant catalog request link, website is one of the fields and therefore shows on the grant catalog for donors to see/click on. However, if we export GLM grant applications and use the csuite grant import template, website is not available. We do not want to send the link to nonprofits to fill out when they have already filled out GLM grant applications. Please add website to the csuite grant import template.

  12. For custom grant reports, it would be great to be able to pull in the type of Grant Letter Template into a custom report. We have several different types of letter templates. For some reason that field isn't included in custom reports.

  13. I like to alerts that can be attached to a fund. I would like to have C-Suite generate an email to me that an action is required, like the notification I receive when someone has submitted a grant in our portal.

  14. Currently, when creating a new grant, the Grant Advisor defaults to the advisor name lowest in the alphabet, who is often not the person advising the grant. It would make more sense to default the field to Null, or to be able to designate a specific Default Advisor in the Fund (different from Primary Advisor), if that's the person who most often (or only) advises grants.

  15. Most of our evaluators in GLM and SLM are in CSuite already. It would be nice if these people could be mapped so that contact information syncs. It would also be good information to have in CSuite that the person is a scholarship or grant evaluator

  16. In the approval screen, you can click Approve All and then manually check the boxes of the grants that you want to approve. This would be very helpful in the Unfunded Bucket as well when you click Void Unfunded.

  17. When batch deactivating and activating users in GLM from the user search page, add a Comment field that will populate within each user's record. This will allow Admin to reference the note or comment that explains why the user was deactivated or activated.

  18. Just like you can see the assets listed by account when viewing a fund, please add the ability to see the liabilities listed by account when viewing a fund. We have many accounts with outstanding grants payable or accounts payable that cause a disconnect between the fund balance and the asset balance but takes quite a search to determine what those are. Having the same view for Liabilities as you do for Assets on a fund would be incredibly helpful.

  19. When we process a grant, we notify the grantee of a forthcoming grant via email. It would be helpful to receive an error message back via email that the email was rejected, similar to email apps send a rejection email back to the sender.

  20. When adding a student number if there are grantees that have multiple profiles, it is impossible to be sure that you are selecting the correct one. This also applies when creating grants. If the Grantee ID were displayed in parenthesis next to grantee in the dropdown (example below), then it would eliminate the time spent finding the correct grantee and reduce errors.
