It would be helpful to have for all GL entries a journal key code that would identify source of origination (such FIMS journal key code)..
Our auditors wanted a list of all manual journal entries. I checked with Foundant who said you can't. If there was a source code field for all GL entries, such as FIMS' 2 digit journal key code, you could run reports of entries hitting the GL by source (gifts, grants, APs, fees, manual, etc.)

We ran into the same thing and ended up writing a custom GL report that shows Journal Entries by date and person which gives you a list of your manual entries for your auditor.
