  1. After completing a recent grant catalog cycle, we have a fiscally sponsored group who likes to send out their own thank you notes. I told them they could find the donors in their portal, however, the grant catalog only comes in as one lump sum grant and does not show the list of donors that gave to their campaign, which I can see on the back end easily in the report. It would be nice to be able to click on the grant amount from a grant cycle in their portal so that they can see each individual who gave.

  2. It would be beneficial to be able to change the fund on a multifund grant.
Under certain circumstances, we have had to change the fund on multifund grants and it is not an easy thing to do and is very cumbersome.

  3. It would be nice to archive past grant cycles that are no longer active or relevant. Or possibly have buckests showing what is active and what is closed.

  4. Currently when you "print page" in reports, the columns do not wrap text so I need to print this extra tiny or on an extra large paper. The scholarship reports wrap text when printed. Will you please add this format to all reports? Thank you.

  5. We have several funds with multiple beneficiaries based on a percentage. We do not have an option to round the multiple grant to whole dollars. When creating the spendable grants, we have to change each grant total. Note. Our distribution calculation has the option to round to the dollar with an option of rounding behavior "Normal," "Always Up," or "Always Down."

  6. It would be great if once you have approved a grant, the system returns you to the Approval List. Currently, it returns you to the Grant you just approved and you have to click List to go back to the Approval list to review the next grant. Reducing the number of clicks a user has to do would be much more efficient!

  7. It would be nice to offer fund advisors a second step to confirm their grant amount entry details. This option to double check their grant requests before finalizing the request offers those less versed in database entry an opportunity to double check their data. This could be a confirmation window or something similar. We recently had an issue where a comma was inserted in place of a decimal causing a grant of $500 to display as $50,000.

  8. My Colleague, LIsa, who coordinate our scholarship program has indicated she can track system generated emails in SLM. I use the C- Suite capability to send grant notifications to grantees from C-Suite. It is effective and efficient. However, since turnover exit at charitable organization we not have the correct email at times. C-Suite does not provide feedback if an email is not delivered to a valid email. I have attached a report that Lisa has run in SLM which gives her tracking information for emails she has processed in SLM. I would like to see something like this for Grants.

  9. It would be really nice to be able to generate multiple grants from one fund at a time.

"Example Fund" grants out 10 grants in December to 10 different organizations. It would be nice to have a screen to generate these, similar to the Voucher screen

  10. After you process a grant and print the check, the system shows there are outstanding "documents" to be processed. We have to click "process documents" and mark each one accordingly (print, download, etc.) There is a mark as sent link to select if you've already sent the document. I usually print my letter at the same time I print my check so we don't need the reminder for the letter. I understand some organizations need/want this functionality and I get why it was created.

If you print your grant checks in a batch you can mark the whole batch documents, but…

  11. It would be very useful to us to have the full filter functionality that exists in all of the other grant buckets in the Grants Paid Bucket. Currently, there are a very limited number of filter fields available. We would use this to filter grants that we would send to GLM. See the attached example.

  12. Bulk add a Grant Letter Template and other fields (even Custom Fields) to designated/spendable grants. At this time, you have to manually edit every one of the designated/spendable grants. It's incredibly time consuming for a process that should be nearly click of a button.

  13. The new check workflow for grants added a "Document" tab in the Grants section of C-Suite. To clear out the number in parenthesis I noticed that you have to click "Send Documents" and then select the batch and then select "Mark Documents Sent" Is there a way you can make this a bulk update for all batches so you don't have to click in each batch separately?

I just don't like seeing a number in parenthesis each time I go into the Grants section because I keep thinking there is something I need to do, but it's just docs sitting…

  14. In the grant approval bucket, you can sort the columns, but when you go to the approve all screen (where you might want to click the check boxes) the sort order is gone, and appears to follow no particular order. It's not by grant number, not by fund, not by grantee. It might be by date, but that is not helpful because most of the dates are the same. Please add the ability to sort there, or keep the sort from the previous page.

  15. Our accountant has requested that we have to specifically note if a grant is an operating grant, special grant or capital project. It would be great if we had a drop down (under grant type) that we could select from one of the three types and call it Grant Purpose dropdown. Thanks so much!

  17. The addition of "account" to the Fund Beneficiary Grantees/Funds screen is helpful. But it would also be helpful to be able to select the Income account as well for internal/interfund grants. This would match the options we have on manually created internal grants. It seems the options for the beneficiary grants should correspond. I thought perhaps once the grants was created, we would have the option there to update the income account but it does not appear.

  18. It would be helpful to have an option to calculate the Spendable Grants either on the total spendable balance or only the current year spendable. We have a significant number of funds that have chosen to not receive a spendable grant in certain years. (particularly organizational endowments but also designated funds and others) Then they may decide to start up annual distributions but leave the accumulated spendable there for future use. All of these grant amounts have to be manually adjusted when we "Create Spendable Grants" because the system uses the total spendable balance.

It seems the option would be…

  19. Currently synching GLM Grants to C-Suite, you cannot award them with multiple funds. Clicking the "multi-fund" button when creating a grant from GLM errors saying we cannot do that. Instead, we have to create installments in GLM to sync over to C-Suite, for one grant, to allow us to assign multiple funds.

It would be great to be able to just allow multiple funds to be assigned to one grant that was synced over from GLM.

  20. At the end of the year, we always have grant applications we want to carry over into the next year. Some, have had their LOI's approved and are now in draft grants, submitted grants, or grants being evaluated. Now the copy feature only allows you to copy to the LOI. It is very time-consuming for me to have to save and copy all the information that doesn't carry over, including 6-8 reports that we require. Would be GREAT if the grant applications would copy over in full to the step they were in in the application process.

    Thanks for your…
