The Triangle Community Foundation has a document with instructions and more info about the Portal for new users. It's not mine to share, but a nice document to base yours off of, if you want to reach out to them.

Agreed. When there are menu items on the left for "Grants" and "Make a Grant Request," one expects that choosing the 2nd will lead them directly to the screen to make that request. Instead it takes the user to a list of Grants (not sure if these are just grants made in the last month or what...) and then the user has to click Create Grant Request button. It's an unnecessary, confusing and annoying additional step.

Separate from CSuite, but you can set up a Google Voice number associated with your work email address and use that to text students (from a number different than your personal cell number). You can text from your computer or the Google Voice app. You will also get an email when a student responds so you don't have to constantly check for notifications.

I just implemented the new Portal and was very surprised to learn that ANY profile with an email address in CSuite can log in with a PIN. I even made a profile Inactive (in the Sandbox) and found it can still log in. This Portal access is a large extension of functionality from the Legacy Portal, far beyond us being able to decide whether only Fund Advisors, or Nonprofits, or Customers get access.
I don't recall this being talked about in the training video and I'm wondering if other CSuite users even know this is a thing.
