  1. It would be great if we could customize the students' Apply Page ourselves instead of having to go through chat. The process could be similar to what we can do for our login page under the site settings.

    I often want to make tweaks or change minor things and having to go through chat adds an extra layer and creates more work for chat.

  2. Suggestion: Having a preexisting field(s) that allows the user to filter active from archived organization in reports without the need for filtering out specific organizations using the "organization name" field.

  3. It would be helpful for me if the system could assign a control number as applications are submitted. Often I use the reports for blind reviews and while I can hide the applicant information it would be best to have a reference number or control number to use instead of identifying the application by title as that is often a cumbersome way to identify/cross reference an entry.

  4. Make organization profile questions shareable on to forms. We have agreements and other follow-up forms that reference the organization name and address. Instead of needed to retype them into the form or reference the mini profile that appears above but somewhat separate from the form, we would like to be able to pull in the organization profile answers as if they were shared questions. Since these are universal fields for the organization, it seems like they should be universally sharable on to forms.

  5. It would be really helpful to have a timestamp added to the 'Initial Submit Date' custom column, so we can see the submission time. We have just closed a grant round, and had an application sneak through after the deadline, but unless we go into the submission log for each individual application we have no way of identifying which one it is!

  6. the most recent upgrade got rid of the key icon in the upper right hand corner of a user's profile and i liked to propose it (or something similar) be added back. It was extremely helpful to have a visual indicator on the main screen of the user profile of if the user had system access or not. A color-coded indicator (green for access, red for no access) would be an improvement on the previous dark grey/light grey key icon.

    The icon wouldn't need to be functional (like it used to be) now that the toggle for turning access on/off…

  7. We keep comments for several organizations in the organization profile. If a comment is accidentally deleted, there is no way to get it back. A history of previous comments would be super helpful, like how the change log shows up for the org.

  8. It would be great if an eligibility quiz could be used to filter applicants for specific grant opportunities. So, depending on how they answer the questions in the quiz, it would then show different application opportunities. For example, if the applicant belongs to a small organization that is not scalable and has a limited budget, then after completing the quiz, an application specifically designed for this type of organization would be available to them.

  9. To determine grantee payout, total the sum of several expense fields and multiply that number by the grantee's match percentage.

    Currently, this is all done by hand because Foundant does not have the capability for custom formula fields. It would streamline our processes and eliminate much confusion for both us and our grantees if these calculations were done automatically and in real time.

  11. There needs to be a straightforward way to indicate and run a report of canceled grants. A canceled installments report is not viable because it’s not uncommon for us to have grants that are awarded and then canceled or withdrawn before any payout occurs or for a payment to be canceled without the grant being canceled.

  13. I'd like the ability to customize the failure message within an eligibility quiz to be able to show the applicant what question(s) caused them to fail and provide a bit more context to them regarding those specific items.
    Currently, there is only one "Failure Message" option that shows no matter what questions caused them to fail, so it can't be specific and the applicants don't know why they failed.

  14. Hey there! Regarding Summary section under any Profile, ex: Profile -> Donor -> Summary -> "Donation Summary (Direct and Advised) (Household and Members)" Section. For some reason, there's no values for the yearly totals for this section, as opposed to the "Donation Summary (Household and Members)" section, which does.

    It's very convenient that the Donation Summary sums up the totals of each year, Fund, and all time giving, but I'd if the Advised AND Direct Summary Table also provided those values, as it can be time consuming calculating those values by hand when we need that information when meeting with…

  15. In GLM and SLM, when onboarding new staff members who will be administrators to the environment, there is not really a clear way to lead them through training. The training used to be straight forward with Base Camp and the videos were sequential in logic to help build a true understanding of the software tools. Maybe I'm missing something, but I don't find anything like that now in the Learning Center. There's a catalog of videos and FAQs, but unless I go in and hand pick the ones I want my staff person to take, there's no great way to…

  16. When using the LOI process, there are buttons that say "Save LOI" and "LOI Complete." We use the LOI process for other things than just an LOI, including sponsorship requests. It's confusing to have these buttons when the request isn't an LOI. Would be wonderful if we can customize the language in those buttons. If not, changing those buttons to something more generic like "Save Request" and "Request Complete" would help them be relevant to most scenarios.

  19. Please restore the site settings allowing admins to designate specific org page fields that can be updated by applicants. I recognize that not every client wants this, but as a trust-based org, we'd like to give our grantee partners the autonomy to update their address on their own rather than having to reach out to us. (And if you all don't recall how this used to work, please reach out to me for more details.)
