  2. The current NACHA file format requires a small edit before uploading it to our bank, which is a major US bank. It would be great to have some limited ability to customize the NACHA file, or to have formats for major banks available.

  3. It would be nice to have the ability to update the Address Type category. I currently am not able to delete or add new Type. Therefore, one cannot mark multiple addresses as home, work, ect.

  6. When we think of campaign we think of fundraising for specific funds or projects. Current functionality of 'campaigns' seems to be more centered around creating one-time lists or managing events.

    4/5/2023: Campaigns:  Enhanced the campaign workflow to help with the tracking of events and mailings.  Each campaign will now be associated by type.  Campaign types are event, marketing or historical.  The assigned type will drive different campaign functionality.  A campaign categorized as events, will allow a user to create tickets, groups, and requests for the campaign.  Marketing will be used if the campaign is intended to create a mailing list to communicate with donors and other constituents.  Historical will be a way to move completed campaigns into a separate list for campaigns that are no longer being used by the foundation.  Campaigns will still be managed by user defined categories and can be archived within the category list.  The campaign page has been redesigned to have a bucket system just below the event information and image at the top of the page. Each bucket will then trigger different left hand…

  7. Please provide an option to create a WORD document instead of just a pdf of fund statements. All the other templates have the option of creating merged templates in WORD. Creating in WORD will allow us the ability to edit the Fund Statements.

  8. It would be fantastic to be able to enter split or multi-fund gifts! Having to split into multiple transactions is cumbersome, more difficult to track, and generates multiple letters.

  9. We have many funds (outside of DAF and Endowment Funds) and each one needs a little unique financial reporting needs. It would be great if I can copy a Financial View design and tweak it as needed, instead of creating from scratch each time. Thank you.

  10. It would be helpful to be able to edit a custom report filter rather than having to delete the filter and then adding the item you want to change it to. For example, if you have a saved report to list profiles by a certain profile type it would be nice if you could simply click on the profile type filter and check a different or additional box vs. deleting the filter, finding profile type in the list, then searching the list of checkboxes that you wish to use

  11. PLEASE - build in the ability to build a task. We have recently had several deceased individuals with tasks and opportunities assigned. We need to be able to delete them, rather than marking them as done. This is so important due to the fact that we are tracking our tasks completed for board reporting and so simply cannot mark something as done that was not, and no longer needs to be done.

  15. In our jurisdiction (BC Canada), it is against the law to reveal donors' personal information to anyone without their consent. Currently, when fund advisors are given access to their portal, they can see the names of donors to their funds. We cannot allow this. We would like Foundant to provide an option to "hide donor name" in the Fund Advisor/Donor Portal Options under System Data.

  16. It would be wonderful if we could customize the email body of the Registration Receipts being sent like we can for donations through system content. Right now they receive an email with "Attached is your registration receipt." and an attachment. It would be helpful to be able to customize the body of the email with contact information.

    Even better would be the ability to somehow include a calendar invite for events through this registration receipt email.

    The following was released on 8/28/23:


    Campaign: Added Ticket Receipt Email Subject and Ticket Receipt Email Body to the Details tab on Campaigns. This will allow users to add a customized email message and subject line for ticket purchases. The Ticket Receipt Email Body will be HTML compatible, but no merge fields for this content block.

  17. When making payments via ACH it would be great to have a remittance advice template to produce to send to all vendors detailing their payment. Ideally it would be sent to a vendor email contact.

  20. When generating templates for tax_receipts, a fund name fields exists. This automatically pulls the Public Name of the fund. It would be nice to have the option to include the fund's legal name as entered in the system.
