File search, download and delete
We are uploading documents to CSUITE for ease of access but we need to follow our record retention policy and need an easy way to sort files, download multiple files, and delete in bulk. It would be great if we had the option to do all those functions based on file categories and dates.
13 votesThere is already an option built to bulk delete files. A user must have the Bulk Delete permission set in Files. In Files, filter by created Ts date and/or File Cat Name. There is then an option to bulk delete on the left side menu. Here is the link to the support hub article.

Create a standalone task report to display tasks that are not a part of an opportunity. Thank you!
4 votesA Task report is available in Custom Reports. This report will include tasks and opportunity tasks. If you do not want opportunity tasks on the report, filter Op_ID is Null.

Alerts for Checks
When creating a note, is there a way to create an alert area for "Checks" so that way when a check or check batch is being created, all alerts for the profiles with a payment in the check/check batch can be alerted at the top?
7 votesSUMMIT IDEA LAB: 5/7/2024- Notes: Added the ability to add a Note Alert for Checks. This will allow users to create an alert to appear during the check writing process. When creating a check batch from Accounts Payable, users will see the alerts above the Pay selection table. This will allow users to confirm any special request before processing checks in batch. When processing a single check, the alert will appear at the top of the individual check record. No permission change.

ability to edit notes
Not sure if this is an option already, but it would keep things cleaner and more readable if we were able to edit individual notes after they've been added.
1 voteThere is currently an option to edit a note (you must have this permission). Just select the note id and an option to edit is available in the left hand menu.

New Profile Look/Notes
With the new look of Profiles, we're suggesting that the Notes Tab have some kind of notification to alert you that a note or notes exist. It used to be readily visible below. Now you're forced to open every single tab to get an accurate account of the profile. Maybe show a number on the tab of how many notes are there or possibly change the color of the tab to alert someone to check the tab.

delete closed tasks
Ability to delete a closed task -- if you enter a task on the wrong record or attach it to the wrong opportunity and don't discover it until after it's been closed, you cannot delete it or transfer it to the appropriate opportunity or get rid of it altogether.

Release Note/Task Notification
It would be great if the notification for release notes and tasks were different. Maybe a different color for a task or a release note? Or a different location for these 2 notifications? It's hard to pay attention to "red box" for tasks when the box is red every single day because of release notes.

Donation Notes - viewable in donation history
It would be great if a fund advisor could view notes made on a donation. We have a new fund where many donors have left very nice memorial notes on their donations, but the fund advisor can't view them. I have to go in and export them to excel and send them in a report.

Build out Note reporting.
We use notes to track donor, professional advisor, and grantee interactions. The current reporting includes a ton of "employee" fields but no biographical/name/etc. fields for the associated profile, forcing us to analyze the data entirely in excel.

Should be able to edit a completed task.

Alerts on notes
Could an update be made to allow users to add note options? For example, it would be good to add "Communications" as one - eg, "See Steward" or "See Director", or "Planned Gift" etc.

Note Alerts for Grants
It would be great if we could make notes into alerts on grant records as you can in other areas of the software. There are often special things to be aware of relating to a certain grant, so the alert feature would be really helpful for staff to be able to immediately identify a potential issue when opening a grant. Thanks for considering!

bulk delete notes
It would be great to have the option to bulk delete notes in profiles, either by content contained in the note, or by person who created the note. Thank you.
