delete closed tasks
Ability to delete a closed task -- if you enter a task on the wrong record or attach it to the wrong opportunity and don't discover it until after it's been closed, you cannot delete it or transfer it to the appropriate opportunity or get rid of it altogether.

9/11/2023: Tasks/Opportunity Tasks: Added the ability to edit completed tasks. Users will now see Edit as an option in the left hand menu on a Completed Task. No Update to Permissions.

I second this, and this should be true for ANY task in the system - whether attached to an Opportunity or not.
