  1. When we set up portal users there are times where we don't want them to see grants out or donations in. However, even when we click no to view, they still get email notifications if they are fund advisors. Why? The notifications should be turned off too. This circumvents the purpose of fund advisors not being able to see activity if they get notified by email anyway. Can notifications be turned off when clicked no on portal?

  3. When you select 'email tax receipt', the subject and body auto-fills a generic message. It would save a significant amount of time if we could edit these messages to instead auto-fill text that our client has chosen.

  4. Recently there was an change made where the system now requires an address and zip code when entering a gift. There are times when we don't have the address, only email address, so with this requirement, I am forced to enter incorrect/"fake" information, which then shows on the receipt emailed to them. Please consider removing this requirement.

  5. When using Donation Letter templates or when downloading CSV files for Word Mailmerge, the first letters of the words in the tributes are capitalized. For example "In Honor of .." or "In Memory of..." These will always be used in a sentence such as "Your donation was In Honor of John Smith." It looks strange to have the capital "I" and "H" or "M" in the middle of the sentence. These should be lower case.

    Tributes: Donation Custom Fields are now available as merge fields in the In Honor and In Memory Templates. Two merge fields have been added to both templates: {{full_tribute_name}} returns "in honor(memory) of Tribute Name and {{us_full_tribute_name}} returns "In Honor(Memory) of Tribute Name.

  6. Add the option to quickly delete the Legal Name in a profile, similar to what can be done today with Addresses, Phone Numbers, and Emails. The reason for this is that we have many profiles with the Legal Name populated and it causes duplicated names to show up in the Search box. We would like to delete all the Legal Names that are not different than the profile name so we don't see duplicate names when searching.

  7. It would be nice if when we created historic accts and grants payable reports that could be exported. We had to retype the information for our auditors to schedule out when grants expire. Also it would be awesome to have a field in grants that tells when they expire.

  8. Would be FANTASTIC to be able to enter a batch of donations, review them on a report and post as a batch, rather than having to post after each donation ( to create a deposit in the till )

  9. I would like the option to filter Profiles by those entities that wish to be marked Anonymous. This is currently tracked on the Profiles with a checkbox but is not an option in the Profile Filters. I know I can filter by Anonymous donations, but I want to filter Anonymous Donors as well.

  11. It would be super awesome if we had a way to search/filter through the logs function (on the core menu) based on ref I’d, date, who, etc. as of now, the only function is to use the [more] and [last] buttons at the top/bottom of page to navigate.

It would be very helpful to be able to bulk upload files to the fund advisor portal so that the documents are available either to all users of the portal or all users with grant recommendation privileges, etc. For example, to make our quarterly investment performance report available to all users or to make guidance for donor advised grantmaking available to all users with advisory privileges.

  16. It would be great if we could type the recognition name in the profile and it would pre-populate based on that field, but we could override if only one member of a household was the donor. Also it would be great if recognition name could either be exported from donor records or profiles for our annual report.

  18. Please add Profile ID to the gift import template. This will eliminate the concern of the system creating duplicate profiles. The import option is really valuable, but isn't efficient if we have to go in and merge duplicates due to not having an address correct or due to a gift going to an organization that may have more than one profile ID.   19. It would be cool to have a static link that allowed you to go directly to your saved reports rather than having to go within the report, sometimes pick a date before being able to get to the filter, and then loading the saved report. Not sure if others would find this helpful, but thought I'd post it.

  20. Hi! Currently, checks have the default of using the last name first if there is not "Legal Name" entered if it is to an individual. I am hoping you can change this to using the "Mailing Label" name if there is no "Legal Name" entered. Thanks!
