Agreed! For our most recent grants cycle, I assigned 98 reviewers across 18 panels (or groups....or "committees" in SLM-speak) who reviewed 260 applications. A lot of the reviewer work has to be done manually in Foundant, or with funky workarounds.
For example, we ask reviewers to note their panel number in the evaluation forms so we can more easily organize on the back-end. But sometimes they check off the wrong box or nothing at all, and then I have to manually fix each incorrect evaluation one-by-one. Having committees would allow us to not have this workaround in the first place, and it would make communications and assignments much easier!
