   Agreed, some of these are VERY old from when we transitioned financial systems to Foundant. Maybe have an option on the side to view a list of closed accounts instead of listing them with the open accounts?

    Totally agree! Other software has options for a "fuzzy" matching that takes into account a certain % of variance in a match. It's easier to say "this isn't a duplicate" with false positives from a fuzzy match than having to hunt through 1,000's of profiles to find duplicates that aren't populating on the duplicate list.
