Totally agree! Other software has options for a "fuzzy" matching that takes into account a certain % of variance in a match. It's easier to say "this isn't a duplicate" with false positives from a fuzzy match than having to hunt through 1,000's of profiles to find duplicates that aren't populating on the duplicate list.

Yes, please! We were very excited when we heard public security info would be populating automatically, but so disappointed when the "fix" just repeated information that was already there and created more work to go in and edit.

Yes, please! Also, linking an unposted donation should not automatically adjust a pledge. It amplifies these types of messy issues.

I'm so surprised this still isn't corrected. Profile payments are now used for multi-fund public security gifts, and it is AWFUL if there is any mistake/accident on the front end. Right now, we have donations that were entered to the wrong profile payment, and we have to delete them to be able to delete the profile payment. This causes a gap in the donation numbering that will populate on the audit, with no logging available because the whole thing has to be deleted.
