    Hi Everyone,


    thank you all for those of you that reach out to me and let me interview you around your needs with this functionality.  


    these conversations helped us to scope what we think is a great first version of this functionality.  We will be continue to implement and plan this work in the start of 2022 so i will continue to keep this thread updated.

    This would be really helpful! Especially when we need to change a system or process of how we handle our grants.

    Hi Sammie, I also would like to see the follow up submitted on date on the page you noted in your picture. Currently, the only place you can see when something was submitted is in the dashboard follow up area. Then, but if you click Complete, that information is then gone. Now if you need to know, you have to research in the Email History for when the receipt was sent. No fun! Making the submitted on date easily available would be wonderful!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks! : )

    Hi Chris,
    I would like to have the Charity Check Legal Name from IRS Publication 78 (Charity check has multiple name fields) to be available in Merge Templates so that I could be certain to create contracts with the right legal name. It would also be very useful in the Report feature so that when we make Grants Lists for the IRS they are correct.

    It is already possible for us to check the date of the last charity check via the Reporting tool.

    I would LOVE to be able to export and to use in mail merge the Charity Check Organization Name. This is how I check the organization's legal name - via the Charity Check. Organizations get very creative about what they think their legal name is. And this is a very important due diligence for Foundations as we all have to submit our Grants Lists to the IRS when we file our taxes. So just as the Deductibility Code is something we have to get right, we also have to get the Organization's Legal Name exactly right.

    Currently when I do contracts, I have to look up each organization and click in to the Charity Check 2nd or 3rd tab to see if I have the correct legal name.

    Also, the reason why there are duplicate orgs that we need to delete is because of the message for duplicate emails. New users forget that they have previously registered, they go to create a new account and then receive a message that their email is already being used. So the user just creates an account with a different email. Then we have duplicate organization records and we cannot delete the extra one. We can merge the two organizations but then we still have duplicate contacts for the same person.

    Would be great to also be able to merge duplicate contacts.

    Hi Michele and Pele,

    Thank you both for your thoughts full feedback. We have heard this request before, and are looking at how we can make the follow accessibility and editing easier for applicants.

    Do you believe increasing font size would be enough? Or do you have other thoughts on how to make this stand out to your applicants?

    This form flummoxes users. I think that there is not enough hierarchy in the design of the text guiding their eyes. For example, the word process is bold; my users don't need to see the process at all. They need Project Name and Report Name to stand out. Also, the Edit link is so small they don't notice it. Perhaps turning the name of the form into a live link (which would perform the same function as the link on the right - edit or view) would help.
