  1. Allow for both branched whole question groups and individual questions.

    Our application has many questions within each section that could be branched, but it gets confusing to have to redirect applicants to a new section. It would be great to be able to have branched questions right within that question group/section so that all the same type of information stays under the same heading, but applicants are not having to wade through loads of "If Yes..." type questions that don't apply to them.

The sort order of requests that an applicant sees on their dashboard (under both the Active and Historical Requests tabs) should be by a date field, either the date the first form was submitted (either LOI or Application), or by the Decision date. It apparently (per Joe Spence on the Support desk) is currently sorted by the import date, which has no meaning to an applicant. When I as an admin look at requests for an Organization, they are sorted by decision date, which would work well for applicants as well. If you need an example of the currently wonky…

  3. Would be nice if you could create a "universal" grant application as you can in scholarships. This would be easier for the nonprofits rather than the copy feature that is currently available. This would also make the review and follow-up process easier.

  4. Some of our awardees have gotten a lot of media attention. We need a way for them to be able to notify us (other than text or phone call) that also creates documentation in the system. I have a f/u form developed, but the only way to make it available is to assign it to someone. I would like it to be available at all times, so they can select it and fill it out immediately when they need it.

  5. We use the primary contact to denote the person who will receive grant letters/agreements at an organization. This person is typically the President/CEO or another officer and doesn't have an actual login. However, since grantees are unable to view their organization's primary contact they are unable to let us know when that person has left the organization and information needs to be updated.

    A feature exists where applicants can view other requests AND other contacts at the organization. However, we don’t want applicants to be able to view other requests even if it’s from the same organization - we only…

  8. Is there a way to make the excel export column NOT the width of the text in them? This results in extremely wide columns and tedious reformatting to make them a workable size.

  9. When creating a form or application, we currently have to click into each question individually to see if it is set to read-only. Could we get a signifier added on the form so that we do not have to click into the question to confirm this? (i.e. to work like the questions now show Administrator or Applicant can view the question)

  10. I would like to run a report for our Board members that illustrates the length of time it takes for applicants to complete our grant application form. We wanted to run a report from start time to finish time for each grant applicant and calculate an average time spent on the application. This data would be valuable and help us with our process improvements for our grants program.

  11. The WalkMe training is great but it assumes full administrator access. Most of our trainees are grants managers. This causes a mismatch between what the training is walking them through and what the trainee sees on the screen.

    Current situation: Trainees see tasks in WalkMe that they are restricted from using based on role.

    Desired situation: WalkMe training only shows modules that correspond with the available activities based on role

  12. And organizations too, we feel this would be very useful to have especially for applicant profiles. There have been times where we wanted to see if any new profiles were created within the past two weeks, or since we put out a specific communications piece about our grant program. If they make a profile but don't start a draft, it's hard to find.

  13. We use the Comments tab for Users & Organizations as a place to document site visits or discussions with an applicant. These notes are general to the user or organization, not specific to any one application cycle. Is it possible to make it so this data could be pulled into a report?

  14. Can the 'date submitted' appear on the Follow Up when it is opened? It does appear on the list of submitted follow ups but not once opened. Could it appear on the same line as "due by" on the opened follow up?

  15. I wish there was a "date last notified" column on the dashboard. This way I can track which students I have emailed already without having to go to the communications page. We had that in our old system and it was very helpful.

  16. I work with several Catholic charities, especially schools, that operate under a Diocese of a particular area. For various reasons, some grants need to fall under the Diocese EIN number and other times the school's EIN number. I would love to have a way to link organizations so we can see grant history for all involved. Example Cathedral Parish School and the Diocese of St. Augustine. Both receive grants for the school but we had to enter separately. For people coming behind us, there is no way for them to know/show all grants. We put in comments currently but that…

  17. Each student uploads e.g. a photo and once a year I might like to extract said photo with regard to one specific process together i.e. download all student photos from a certain scholarship in one go. Also could be used for Thank You letters to become reports to donors. I think this is a brilliant idea and Christmas is coming!

For those of us asking for items on our wish list in SLM perhaps we can give it a title that starts with SLM - so that when we get our own ideas lab we can just move all our asks easily over to it. Also easier to search the ideas lab at present if all queries relating to SLM start with the letters SLM?

  19. It would be great to have the primary contact listed under Batch Options to send emails to the primary contact as well as the applicant. Two separate groups-we send reminder "grant agreement due emails" to the primary contact who will be signing the grant agreement. We do not send it to the applicant.
