Prompt prior to auto-email
We were thrilled when you first offered auto-email, but found ourselves in an embarrassing sitation when we had to re-enter some applications on behalf of applicants. This was due to a techinical problem on our end, and the applicants were not involved. Lo and behold, when we clicked 'submit' they all got emails thanking them for their application. This did cause confusion and embarrassment. I think auto-email is great, but would it be possible to add a feature to prompt us to confirm the email be sent prior to it automatically being sent off? This could be a global feature…

No longer able to delete duplicates because there is Guidestar History
We have organizations that register multiple times without our realizing it until after we’ve started the review process for
their current request and run Charity Check. If we’re unable to delete these registrations, we’re going to end up with a huge number of duplicate organization registrations that are completely useless and just taking up space because all of the important information has been consolidated. It will also make looking up a grant/request by organization name a much more difficult process because we will have to go through however many empty registrations to find the one we are actually looking for.…

Bad Characters
My organization runs an international grants program to support research in Parkinson's. As a result, the applications we receive have a broad range of characters that are used, e.g., Université Laval, etc. Oddly, these characters appear fine on the Foundant website but when exported as a CSV file or in the filename of the print packets these get jumbled. Reviewers complain and it is a bit of a pain to always have to clean up the exported data. For example:
Université Laval becomes Université Laval
The lower case Greek alpha in α-synuclein becomes α-synuclein
Even something standard like the apostrophe…

Applicant History, Project Descriptions, and Reports
Right now, GLM relies on the administrator/reviewer to remember if a previous grant was funded. For example, if an organization received an earlier grant, when they reapply the administrator/reviewer must remember what the earlier project was and know to look at another page to read their final report.
On the page that comes up when the reviewer opens a proposal, it would be great if there was some indication that a previous grant to the applicant was funded. Preferably, the notation should include a one sentence description of the project that was funded. Then there should be a link to…

Set up an alert when deactivating a user that still has follow-ups due
I was trying to reassign a submission and the follow-up to a different user - I was able to reassign the submission, but kept getting an error message when trying to reassign the follow-up. As I was about to send a "Help" email, it occurred to me that the user might be deactivated, so I checked. Sure enough, that was the case. I had to reactivate the user to reassign the follow-up and then go back and deactivate the user again. So, my suggestions are:
1) An alert when a user is being deactivated if that user has any submissions…

Help/Support site login page remember my username and password
Hi --
When I log into your support site, I always have to completely type my username and password. I thought maybe this was just a setting on my PC, but doesn't seem to be. (I checked my settings, and also most other sites, incdluing our regular login to GLM, DO suto-complete my username & password.
Would it be possible to have a "remember me" box we can check at login, or have the site attempt to auto-complete once we start typing?
Thanks,
Meredith

Reports Beta! "Saved Reports Tab"
The "Saved Reports" Tab in Reports Beta could be improved. I created a report, saved it, then made some changes to the formatting, and saved it again (with the same name). I expected that it was overwriting the original report format file. Instead it saved my multiple versions of the same report. Now, that I want to look at my final version of the report, how do I know which one to choose?
My suggestions:
On the "Saved Reports" tab, list the date & time that the report file was saved (like you might see in Windows Explorer).
When you…

Toggle to Review Mode
Background: Applications can only be reviewed (changing report fields, marking the application complete or sending it back to draft, etc) if you click the Review icon (pencil and paper). If you instead click the project name, then the View icon (paper only) beside the application, you will see the application but will not have these functions available.
Could there be a link or button added to the latter application to bring you back to the Review mode - like "Toggle to Review Mode" or "Review This Application"?

Depopulate the checked boxes
In both Reports Beta and Data export the boxes for the fields in the lists are all checked. Since I generally want to use no more than 5-10 in any given report, it would be far less time consuming to check the boxes I want than to uncheck all the one's I don't want. Or is there a way already to uncheck all the boxes at once?

Ability to Highlight
As we were reviewing our grants for the first itme, we realized that the ability to highlight specific areas of the proposal for other evaluators to see would be very helpful.

Editing Description for Applicant Follow Up Notifications To Match Reminder Days
It'd be great to be able to change (or Foundant to be able to change) the description for the Applicant Follow Up Reminder to match the actual set number of days/weeks for the reminder. For example, I had a Foundant staff member change my reminders to be sent 30 days prior to follow ups, but the description still says "2 weeks", which may cause confusion for others in my organization.
Thanks!

Sorting Evaluators List when Assigning Process Evaluators
I have approximately 130 evaluators to assign to 40 processes. With so many scholarships and so many evaluators, it would be a great help to be able to alphabetize the list so I can more easily find the names to assign to the processes!
Thanks!

New Questions
When you register, you have to enter all contact information. I think that this group of fields should be a question that we can include in our forms. Some of us request more than two contacts. Also, it would be nice to choose which fields of the contact question that we want to use. For example, I may only want their name and email address for the Dean and want the name, email, and phone for the financial officer.

Limit initial responses on Email History so it loads quicker
When navigating through the Communications dropdown to Email History, the page takes an inordinate amount of time to load since it loads all email history within our site before allowing a search to be performed. Oftentimes my web browser times out prior to the page finishing loading, then I have to close the window, log back in, and attempt to wait out the loading of our entire email history once again. We've been using the system for almost two years now, so I can't imagine the time this will take as our email history grows.
If this page could load…

save button on internal fields on followup
I like the save button that is available when I edit an applicant-entered field on a follow-up. However, on internal fields on the follow-up (exclusive to the follow-up, not shared between forms), there is no save button. And... there is no save button at the bottom of the form. If I type into the internal field then leave the page, it deletes the text. So I have no options, other than to wait for the auto-save to invisibly kick in. To make sure this happens, I have to then refresh the page (hoping that it doesn't delete what I typed)…

Site "skin"
The "skin" takes up a large part of the screen. Once logged in, I would like the "skin"/logo banner to be reduced. As an administrator, when editing it takes up too much of the screen.
