Help/Support site login page remember my username and password
Hi --
When I log into your support site, I always have to completely type my username and password. I thought maybe this was just a setting on my PC, but doesn't seem to be. (I checked my settings, and also most other sites, incdluing our regular login to GLM, DO suto-complete my username & password.
Would it be possible to have a "remember me" box we can check at login, or have the site attempt to auto-complete once we start typing?
Thanks,
Meredith

I just noticed that this was related to the new community. My comment is for the main login page.

This topic was on my idea wish list too. As a admin who is constantly in and out of the system, it would be great to have a remember password option.

With the migration to the new community, this is unfortunately something we're not going to be able to address.
However, since viewing the help topics doesn't require logging in, hopefully this will be less of an issue going forward. If the vendor of the new community updates anything to allow us to address this, we will revisit it then.
Thanks,

Meredith,
Foundant's current support system login process is out of our control so there is, unfortunately, little we can do with our existing tool. However, we we have begun looking at what our needs are / will be for supporting our customers best as we continue to grow and are researching new options to make working with us easier and more user friendly.
This is not a change that will happen overnight but within the next 6 to 12 months, we may have a new system in place or will invest to improve our current system.
Thank you for your thoughts.

I have the same issue Meredith and it also drives me nuts. I am curious about something however. In your case I would have assumed that you are accessing the customer portal from GLM. If that is the case, we should be passing your credentials from GLM to the portal which obviates the need to login. I guessing that either:
The pass-through authentication isn't working for you. If that is the case, please let us know and we'll get it working for you.
You often access the Customer Portal via a bookmark/favorite or by some other method. If this is the case, let me know how and why so we can do a better job of presenting you with a seamless and helpful experience.
Thank you Meredith!

Hi -- Unlike the login page to GLM, which populates the fields for username and passowrd after I've typed a couple characters, the login page to Foundant's support portal does not. This isn't a huge deal, but I have a rather cumbersome email address that I have to type in each time! It would be a big time-saver if a check-box could be added to the Support login page to allow us to tell the site to remember our login credentials so that we don't have to type them each time. (or I am the only one having this problem??)
Thanks!
