  1. Would love to have the option to make a comment on an application or organization/contact profile into an ALERT that would then appear for all internal users in some easy-to-identify way. Maybe a "!" icon next to the record when viewing a list of records, and the message in red at the top when the record is opened? Right now, there's no way to flag an issue (org is out of compliance, owes a report, ED owes me $5, etc.).

    Our October 2024 Release included the additional new functionality "Pinned Commented." Based on conversations with many of you who have engaged on this thread, we felt that the functionality of a pinned comment would give you the most flexibility in communicating the need to Flag an Organization or User within the software.


    I encourage you to review the support documentation to learn.

  2. I've seen a couple of posts about this already, but not sure that it was articulated in this way. It's scholarship season and students are stressed out trying to submit their applications and get teachers to complete their letters of recommendation. I was really surprised to learn there currently isn't any formal notification that gets sent when a teacher completes their 3rd party letter of recommendation in SLM. Teachers would benefit knowing their work was properly received. Students want to know they don't have to worry about this or nag their teacher to do this, and admins want to know…

  3. Enable documents uploaded to Foundant/GLM to be read in another browser tab instead of having to download said documents to your computer. If users want to download, make that an actionable icon much like the envelope is to email a contact or the pencil is to edit the process/form.

  5. It would be great if a new person at an organization could add themselves as a User into the organization's account WITHOUT overwriting an existing User in the account.

    Currently, any time an organization has a new hire (or would just like to add someone new to their account in our portal), they have to contact us and we have to manually add them as a User and provide them with a temporary password. The only way for them to do it themselves is to overwrite an existing User in the account, which is problematic since doing that deletes/distorts our…

  6. When I add a comment to an application in GLM (and mark it so that the applicant can see it), is there a way to change the font color or make the font BOLD so that the comments are more visible to the applicant? With all the text on the page, the comments just blend in and applicants aren't seeing them - which means they call me 900 times a day!!!

  7. We're from a small community, and we often have individuals who volunteer with multiple organizations. It would be helpful if we could assign one user in GLM to multiple organizations.

    With our February 2024 Release we have implemented an admin workflow to associated users with multiple organization.  You can learn more about this release here: https://support.foundant.com/hc/en-us/articles/20894342820759

We often have to go back into applications to update payment dates, etc. Because of the large amount of requests we process throughout the year it causes a lot of confusion when we leave approved requests open. If there was an easier way to either open multiple closed requests or make a payment on a closed request that would be a game changer.

  9. More than 25MB for Attachments

    We would like to see more space allowed for attachments to one application. Currently it maxes out at 25 MB. We get to that size very quickly with our attachments, and often applicants complain that they don't have enough space to upload their documents. A lot of our partners do not know how to reduce file size or are not tech savvy.

    It would awesome if this wasn't limited. I'm assuming there is a reason for this limit on the back end of the program, however.

  10. Please bring back "Organization" autofill in the "add contact" form.

    When you click the "add contact" button in an organization, the form used to autofill/pre-populate with the organization name. Since Saturday 2/24/24, that no longer happens and we now have to scroll down a list of thousands of organization names to find the name to populate the field. The scroll function routinely freezes which makes it impossible to add a contact at all. Even when not frozen, the scroll list is glitchy and skips around a lot.   11. We need the ability to sort/filter grant reports by the fund that paid for the grant, so that we can share follow-up outcomes info with the donors who contributed to those funds. Could the information sharing between CSuite and GLM include the fund associated with an installment payment? The effort to cross reference information using only the CSuite grant ID is excruciatingly time consuming and vulnerable to human error.

  12. Metrics Dashboard---While I love the addition to the dashboard and all its new features. My organization does not run on a calendar year, as the dashboards are currently set to. I would like to see a date range filter (such as one within the reporting) so I can filter to match the fy we run in.

  13. Evaluations- Being able to search for people when assigning evaluators to applications. For example we received over 100 applications for a process. Created eight committees to review and group applications and evaluators into the different committees. We also add the committee name to the last name of the user to be able to identify groups in the system. It would be nice to be able to search for evaluators and assign that way instead of having to scroll through the entire list. When we have over 100 evaluators that will be involved in the process.

  14. I would like to request additional functionality for the PDF Print Packet download feature for SLM applications. Currently, the PDF Prink Packet downloads creates one PDF file with all the applications included. This is not functional for my needs to be able to send out scholarship applications for reviews by outside committees who do not utilize the review portal. It is also super cumbersome to go through and individually download each application. It would be great if the PDF print packet action could create a Zip file of each individual application named with the applicant's name. This would save me…

  15. Update Prefixes to include gender neutral "M." and non-binary "Mx.". I know it says etc.; however, since it does spell out Mr., Mrs., Ms. we should include M. and Mx. to be respectful of those who identify as gender neutral or non-binary.

  17. Right now, administrators do not know when an applicant registers/creates an account until they begin a draft form. In the same way administrators can receive notifications for new forms received, it would be supportive to receive notifications for new registrations so we can better communicate and support folks in that stage of the process.

  18. We would currently love if SLM could be synced to CSuite in a way that we could pull Scholarship Fund information into forms and merge templates. i.e. Scholarship Name, Scholarship Description, etc. Or at least have the ability to store scholarship fund information with SLM.

    01/03/2024: Scholarships: Created a new endpoint for SLM integrated sites to allow for Scholarship Ids to be displayed in SLM. This will allow the CSuite Scholarships to display in SLM as a list.  Any updates to scholarship names, new scholarships, or removed scholarships in CSuite will be updated in SLM.  This will allow SLM users to set the CSuite Scholarship id on the scholarship opportunity before syncing to CSuite. If the Scholarship award is linked with a Scholarship selected from SLM, CSuite users will not have to Set Scholarship for the awards.  Once the scholarship is synced,  CSuite becomes the system of record.

  19. Please update the Contact Email History text to include the date the message was sent. The date of the email shows in the dashboard but is not included in the text of the message itself. This would be really helpful when dealing with issues that arise with applicants about being awarded/declined etc.

  20. Hello! It would be really useful for us to have the EIN / Tax ID data box as a merge field for merge templates. We want to add an organization's EIN to our Invoice merge template for verification purposes and were surprised it wasn't already an available merge field.

    Hello! 

    The EIN/Tax ID is available in merge templates today. 

    If download the template you will go to the Standard Merge Fields, in the Organization section and look for «Organization_TaxId»


    This is also available in Email Merge titled TaxId.
