Ability to add an Alert to a request or profile in GLM/SLM
Would love to have the option to make a comment on an application or organization/contact profile into an ALERT that would then appear for all internal users in some easy-to-identify way. Maybe a "!" icon next to the record when viewing a list of records, and the message in red at the top when the record is opened? Right now, there's no way to flag an issue (org is out of compliance, owes a report, ED owes me $5, etc.).

Our October 2024 Release included the additional new functionality "Pinned Commented." Based on conversations with many of you who have engaged on this thread, we felt that the functionality of a pinned comment would give you the most flexibility in communicating the need to Flag an Organization or User within the software.
I encourage you to review the support documentation to learn.

Yes! An older grants management software program we had prior to Foundant had that capability and it was great to be able to signal that there's an issue before someone has to dig to find it in the records. What that software had was the ability to post an alert which would appear right on the org's home page. You could add a brief sentence summary, e.g. Embezzlement issue see documents folder ... or something like that.

Yes! Being able to add an alert to a student's profile/scholarship payment would be a huge help in keeping track of students with special circumstances. Thanks!
