  1. It would be very useful if we could sort the "Donations Needing Tribute Notifications Sent" page by the columns "ID Date Donor Fund Payment Method Amount Tribute" like on the Grants page. There are many times we need to merge tributes or are only interested in looking at the tributes to one fund, and this sorting capability would be very helpful when looking for duplicate tribute names or viewing one fund at a time.

  2. Fund Advisors should be able to at least view (if not manage/edit) Campaigns attached to their funds. We facilitate events to some degree for our clients, but don't manage the day to day planning, RSVP list, etc. As it is, we have to provide them a guest list manually. They prefer to use other systems like Event Brite, etc., since they have much more control. When they do, we have to manually enter their ticket sales income... The real benefit of the Campaign system for us would be to empower clients to run their own events!

  3. It would be nice if the Fund Names or the Donor/Grantee Names would be bolded when using the search box. This would help distinguish between the items and make it easier to find exactly what I am looking for.

    I think it would look best if the fund names were the ones that were bolded. :)

  4. Currently, you can only have one payment method of other. We would like to have multiple "Others", for instance "Other - Canada Helps" and "Other - Square" so we can easily separate these out.

  5. In order to have a second person double check deposits made are entered correctly, it would be excellent to be able to print a report that lists out all information for a specific till #. (ALL INFO for a donation donor name, donor address, account it went into, donation total)

    Currently the till print out is OK, as it gives an ID number, and we can navigate in the system to find the transactions - but it would be 10x easier if we had a print out to check against!

  6. We don't need the Fund that a check is paid from to be printed on the check - and in fact there are situations where that information may not be appropriate to share. Can we turn that line item off on the printed checks?

  7. Hopefully someone has a solution for this.

    We have many fund advisors that are attached to multiple funds (ex. donor advised and agency funds) and their contact information has to be different for each fund.

    So how can we do a mail-out to just agency funds and have the agency address inserted if their home address is their primary?

    When it is audit time, letters and statements need to go out for each fund to each fundholder. How can we do that if there is only only primary address?

    Do we need to have multiple profiles for one person?

  8. We post anywhere from 15-35 grants at a time.
    It would be beneficial if we could :
    -Enter the memo line at the time of entry for the grant, rather than before checks are created
    - Could reorganize the checks to print out as entered vs alphabetical order
    -If the person entering the grant, is the one who approves- auto approve the grant
    -Run guidestar check/post at the same time!

  9. The info in the Grant Request form asks questions that are in the
    nonprofit's profile (such as URL and contact name and email and phone number). It would be great if the Grant Catalog Request form could pull this info from the profile rather than having to type it all in.

  10. When we add an amount to a fund as a "Sponsorship or Non-Gift" it needs to be added the funds spendable account. Currently, to do this we add an Invoice for the amount given then Create a Payment to apply to that invoice. Then to increase their Spendable we go into the Fund page of the fund receiving the amount and do a "Manual Adjust". Can there be a "Make Spendable" box added somewhere in the payment area to avoid the extra steps?

  11. We have multiple grant approvers required in the process to do a grant, and these are layered according to job responsibilities. When I go to the Grant section to approve grants there is no indication as to which approvers have already approved grants, and therefore I have to open each one to determine if my approval is required. A column on this screen would allow me to identify which grants are ready for my approval.

  12. Is it possible to simplify the search function even further to remove "The" from the search term? It would be much easier for us to find records if we could search a partial name. We have quite a few funds that begin with "The" and an equal number that begin with the family name. Searching and running reports on these records can be tricky and tedious.

  14. In the Fund Advisor area, add a Filter Reports. Filters needed would be the fund checkboxes (DAF, Agency, Affiliate, Endowed) and the fund coding - Division, group and subgroup. For the profile, it should also allow filtering by profile type.

    Export would be the fund and profile info.

    Export should also have the option of whether to limit an advisor to showing once (with the first fund) or showing multiple times (one line for every fund they are linked to).

  15. We have a donor advised fund with 7 advisors. This is a fund set up by a family with young adult children to teach them about philanthropy. We are having a couple issues:

    o We would like to be able to view who requested the grant in the reporting. Could the name of the requester be part of the grant payment notification that automatically goes out to the advisors?

    o When logging in as an advisor and looking at the grant activity, there is nothing that shows who requested the grant. Can this be added?

  16. It would be nice if accounts appeared as 60000 Salaries Expense instead of showing the category such as 60000 Payroll Expense: Salaries Expense. So basically just take the category out of the view.

  19. Calculations of the transactions as you enter them be shown on the same screen so your entries equals the statement balance. Instead of having to leave the screen to verify your balance. Manually running a calculator prior to leaving the screen, is an inconvenience to verify your entries. I prefer to balance on the spot instead of going from screen to screen. One-spot-verification. Thank you.
