  1. The columns in each of the buckets have the ability to alpha sort (or largest-smallest), but it does not work--or seems to only work randomly. It takes several clicks to actually get the column to sort alpha or reverse alpha. If they are not supposed to be sorted, please remove the sort icon at the headers.

  2. We would love the opportuntiy to "Hide" the fund summary field in the donor portal OR have the opportunity to bulk edit those fields. When we came over from FIMS, lots of Fund Summary fields were not in the best shape for public viewing when someone makes a donation to that fund - we are cleaning them up but in the mean time, would be nice to just be able to turn them off during clean up.

  3. Please provide a content option to put contact information and links for help at the bottom of each page, as is customary on virtually all websites. The only option I see is for the top of the page.

    Fund Advisor: Updated the content merge fields for the following Fund Advisor emails. Advisor_Login_Email: Salutation, First Name, Last Name Mailing Label; Advisor_request_confirm_email_body: Fund Name and Grant ID.

    Donation: Updated the content merge fields for the following donation email. Donation Notify: Primary address, email, phone, donation date, Salutation, First Name, Last Name, Mailing Label

    Funds: Updated the content merge fields for the following funds emails. Fund Statement Email Body and Fund Statement Review Email Body: fund name.

    No permission changes with this release.

  6. I really like the Metrics Dashboards. It would be great if we can have a way to customize the time annual frame. More specifically, our fiscal year is from July to June as oppose Jan to Dec. The Dashboards for us would be even more helpful if the grantmaking data reflected our annual budget based on a July to June fiscal year.

    It can be a binary option where we can set the Metrics Dashboards to either Jan to Dec fiscal year or July to June fiscal year.

  7. Fund Advisor Content currently allows us to edit messages addressed to them for grant requests and grants submitted. I am surprised that we cannot currently target them with donation messages.

    From their POV, it is confusing to receive a message intended for the donor. A donation_notify message in FA/Content could allow us to communicate donor fields such as donor's name, address, email, tribute, etc. as well as "the donor has been provided with a charitable gift receipt, but we encourage you to send a note of appreciation."

  8. Rather than Dear {name} which populates the donor first and last name, can you add a field list and make first name be an option so we could change to Dear First_Name? We change this every time we send the fund advisor email to a donor. It appears so much more personal than first and last name.

  9. We are working through some clean up projects tied to how we coded groups, subgroups, divisions, and segments. The bulk edit feature works great, but it only impacts opened funds. During a recent audit, we identified 100 closed that needed to be moved from one group to another. The information was crucial for analysis purposes - so we had to reopen 100 funds (one by one), bulk edit the 100 funds, then closed them again (one by one).     02-07-2024: Funds: Added Bulk Open and Bulk Close to the funds left hand menu option, from the List All, List Open, List DAF's, List Agency, List Affiliate screens. This will allow users to filter the list to the funds that need to be opened or closed and use bulk functionality.

    When closing the funds in bulk, the system will process each fund individually, users will see the Fund id closed message when the fund is closed. If the fund can not be closed because of balances, the system will show a yellow message with the fund name and id. Clients will need to resolve the issue and go back and start the process again for that fund and any remaining funds after it.

  10. When you use the "print envelope" function from a profile, why does an inactive address come up as an option to print? Inactive addresses should not appear as an option.

  11. We like the History Charts displayed on the Home Page on our Fund Advisor Portal. However, because we are using SLM for our Hardships Funds, we would like to disable these charts for our Hardships funds because it is confusing for them to see their hardships grants listed as "Scholarships" and their hardships recipients listed as "Students".

    We would like the option to turn on History on a Fund-by-Fund level.

  12. We use shortname a lot on funds. Could it be added to the box at the top of the new fund screen layout? Instead of just on the detail tab.

    8/2/2023: Tributes: In order to manage tributes more efficiently, a new workflow has been designed for Tributes.

    The Tribute list view is now a custom report with the ability to sort each column and  have the ability to apply filters, save filtered lists, export, email and load for future use. On the left hand menu, there is also a new Delete Unused menu item.  This will allow clients to delete any unused tributes that do not have donations attached to the tribute or if the tribute does not have associated notify information. If the notify address or email information is not completed, the tribute information will move to a non-notify tribute field.  This will allow clients to retain the information about the tribute on the donation in a text field.

    A status field has been added to tributes. By default, all tributes are now public.  The public status will allow…

  14. We have 2500 existing Tributes in our system. All are showing in the sandbox release with a status of "Public". We will not want all of those tributes out on the portal. Many of these are very old, from our conversion. We would want only the most recent - the last couple years - to be seen out on the portal. Could there please be a way to update the status on old Tributes.

  15. When a scholarship fund is marked post by payment, and you are processing a payment it should function just as any other grant you are processing. Currently if you are processing a scholarship payment and the balance of the fund is not enough to cover the payment, it does not warn you that there are not enough funds in the account if that fund is marked "post by payment". This should function the same in the grant buckets just like any other grant, if there are not enough funds to make the grant, it should give you a warning or…

    9/22/2023: Idea Lab Live: 

    Yearly Tax Receipts: Added the ability to print Envelopes for Yearly Tax Receipts.  Best practice would be to use Custom Reporting, opposed to Filtered Reports, so that clients can filter out donors without addresses.  Envelope job will not complete with profiles that are missing addresses.  


    Templates: Added the Profile and Donation Custom Fields to the Yearly Tax Receipt, along with the Household Salutation.  

  17. Hello, a great help when running my budget for the pay period, could be have accounts payable by Division. Because in our foundation each division has its own checking account. I need to forecast for everypay period how much I will need per account.

  19. Now that Profiles have tabs, it would be great if Funds had tabs also. For example, some of our funds have a lot of files that require scrolling down the page. If we could have those visible by clicking on a tab instead that would be great.

    8/2/2023: Funds: Updated UI to align with look and feel of profiles and campaigns. The fund record now has a header which contains the main fund information and is available on all tabs. In order to organize fund information and limit the left side menu options, the following tabs have been added: Details, Relationships, Settings, Fund Statements, Files & Notes.

    On the Details tab, clients will see the main details of the fund such as: short name, creation date, fund groups, and the fund assets sections.  We have also moved budget and loans, from the Options settings to Details card . Reports are still located on the Detail’s Tab, but have all been grouped under on left hand menu: Reports.  Once Reports is selected a new page will appear and all of the Reports will appear in the left hand menu.

    On the Relationship's Tab clients will find Scholarships, Beneficiaries,…

  20. 'Mailing Label' should be an optional field to add to fund advisor and profile reports.
