Household yearly tax receipt
We would like to see the ability to run yearly tax receipts for donations for a household even if donations were added to individuals within the household separately. It would be nice to have the option to combine donations.

Customize Envelope Template
The ability to be able to customize the envelope template would be extremely helpful. Currently, I have to run envelopes through twice to print our logo and mailing address and then again to print the recipients address on them. The ability to customize the envelope template would not only save time, but printing costs as well.

Print Envelopes for Tribute Notifications
It would be really helpful to have the ability to bulk print envelopes for the Tribute notification letters. It could go on the Tribute's Report Printout screen similar to how that function works when generating the donation thank you/tax receipt letters. We do quite a few notifications of memorials or honors, so we're really looking for a way to not have to print envelopes one-by-one. Thanks!
38 votes8/2/2023: Tributes: In order to manage tributes more efficiently, a new workflow has been designed for Tributes.
The Tribute list view is now a custom report with the ability to sort each column and have the ability to apply filters, save filtered lists, export, email and load for future use. On the left hand menu, there is also a new Delete Unused menu item. This will allow clients to delete any unused tributes that do not have donations attached to the tribute or if the tribute does not have associated notify information. If the notify address or email information is not completed, the tribute information will move to a non-notify tribute field. This will allow clients to retain the information about the tribute on the donation in a text field.

Recurring donation description on tax receipt
We recently launched CSuite and noticed that when donors create a recurring donation online, neither the email they receive nor the tax receipt are customizable in a way to indicate that the donation is recurring. I think a simple solution to this would be to update the "description" field to say "recurring online donation" instead of just "online donation" when donors select recurring. If it's possible to also include the end date (if the donor specified an end date), that would be great too!
We will likely still choose to follow-up with new recurring donors, but we received a lot…

Donation Receipt Email
If a donor makes a gift online the automated donation receipt email reads: "Attached is the tax receipt for your recent donation." It would be nice if we had the flexibility to change the message and add some personalization through Systems Data.

tax receipt sent - language
When we indicate tax receipts were sent, it changes from "Not Sent" to "No". which is very confusing. It makes it read like we don't want Tax receipt sent. Can these descriptions be updated to something easier to follow? Not Sent to Sent? Thank you.

email log for profiles
I would love to have a way to view emails sent via CS located on the profile tab. This would include emails sent via Fund Advisor login, online donation emails that include the attached tax receipt, etc.

Add Tribute Name and Donation ID Fields to {{For Each Item}} Area of Donation Template
Please add the tribute name and donation ID fields to the {{for each item}} area of donation templates. Currently, donors can give multiple donations and multiple tributes during one online checkout. Only one tribute name and donation ID appears in their tax receipt. Please add the tribute name and donation ID fields to the {{for each item}} area of donation templates so any and all tribute names and donation IDs will appear in their tax receipt. Thanks.

Create a template for Advised Donations from our DAFs
We get donations to our annual operating fund from our DAF owners.
We'd like to have a template that would enable us to send a "courtesy" thank you to the DAF owner who advised this donation. This is obviously not a tax receipt, but just a way of us thanking them for donating to us via their DAF. It would be great to have a template for this purpose.

Inactivate a Letter Template
Now that you cannot delete a letter template once it has been attached to a grant, it would be great to be able to "Inactivate" an old template to remove it from the dropdown list of options. Otherwise, the template option list may become very lengthy and hard to navigate.

Gift receipt template - please add ANONYMOUS FIELD :)
Hello! We are using the receipt template system option and would really like to have the anonymous field added to the template field options. This is literally one of the most important fields on the receipt - is there any way you can get this added asap? We love being able to add a template to a fund, however, it is super crucial to let our donors know that we received their request to be "anonymous." Thank you!

Recently there was an change made where the system now requires an address and zip code when entering a gift. There are times when we don't have the address, only email address, so with this requirement, I am forced to enter incorrect/"fake" information, which then shows on the receipt emailed to them. Please consider removing this requirement.

student scholarship award letter
We would like to see a template created for student scholarship notification letters and then the option on the right of the scholarship screen to print the letter. We currently create all letters manually and then have to enter in CSuite. This would automate that process for us. We could also customize letters by granting fund.
10 votes6/7/2023: Scholarships: Enhanced Scholarships to have a Scholarship Award Letter. This will be a new bucket within Scholarships. This will allow for bulk processes such as: Email, Print, Mark the Award Letter Sent, Unset the Award Letter Sent, UnSet Award Letter Needed, Set Award Letter template. In the Open bucket, there are two new left-side menu options for Set Award Letter Needed and Clear Award Letter Sent. On the Award, there will now have two new fields: the Award Letter and the Award Letter Template. the Award letter field to mark the award if the letter is needed, mark it as sent, pdf, word, or email option. There will also now be an Award Letter Template filed. This will allow clients to select the correct template for the scholarship.

Add Steward to Tax Receipt Fields
We have multiple stewards who would like to sign tax receipts. It would be great if we could have a field that pulls the steward first and last name into the letter. Title of steward would be great too but that isn't as important to me as just having the function to get the steward name on the letter.

Split Donation to Multiple Funds
We would love the ability to split a donation in to multiple funds. Donors are able to do this online. We often get 1 check from a donor with instructions on how much they would like to go in to each fund. However, I only send 1 tax receipt. Having to enter each donation separately and then manually add things in to a tax receipt template creates quite a bit of extra work.

More Profile/Donor fields for event_ticket_receipt template (for mailing receipts)
Our events/tickets are being created and 'purchases' are being entered by staff, NOT the purchaser/attendee via Stripe. We would like to generate receipts for event/ticket purchases and MAIL them, via USPS, to the purchaser in one fell swoop from the receipt template itself. HOWEVER, there is no field available to merge in to create an address block for the donor/attendee - only fields available are (#for each receipt) donor.name, donor.email. and donor.phone.
Can't we also somehow pull in fields like donor.label, donor.address, and donor.salutation (et al)? This info exports in the CSV, but could it not be folded in for…
9 votes9/7/2023: Templates: Added additional fields to the Event Ticket Receipt. Added the guest registration link. One thing to note is that if the link is close to expiring, it will create a new one invalidating the current one. Added additional fields: Address, CityStateZip, Address Name, Address State, Address City, Donor Salutation. Mailing Label will now work like the tax receipt Mailing Label field, if the mailing label is complete it will pull that information, if not it will pull the name. In the ticket loop, campaign id, ticket_id, ticket price, ticket totals/sum for quantity of tickets, purchase amount, donation amount.

Batch print yearly tax receipt
We would like the option to batch print the yearly tax receipts for any given year. The yearly tax receipts are currently only available by going to each individual donors profile. This would enable us to print a comprehensive receipt for an entire year for all of our donors. This could be especially helpful for donors that give multiple times throughout the year, allowing us to give them one receipt at the end of the year instead of every single time they donate.

Grant Award letter fields needs {{today_nice_date}}
Doesn't make sense to format a letter without a date! I am unsure if that word date field would update or not
8 votes5/24/2023: Templates: Added today_nice_date merge field to the following templates: invoice, checks, grant award letter, grant letter, internal grant letter, scholarship, yearly tax receipt. Added the grant award letter to have the advisor mailing label use the first last name, if there isn’t a mailing label filled out. Added advisor household label the grant letter template and the apply to spendable to tax receipt.
