Donation Receipt Email
If a donor makes a gift online the automated donation receipt email reads: "Attached is the tax receipt for your recent donation." It would be nice if we had the flexibility to change the message and add some personalization through Systems Data.

In addition to editing the text, it would be nice to have the ability to add HTML to further personalize the body of the email. Thanks for considering!

We just came online and I was really surprised that we didn't have the ability to change the wording on this email notification as well as the online gift notify and online grant notify one liners. It would be great to have the flexibility to edit this.

I would add that the ability to customize the automated donation receipt is really important. I just had a large donor tell me this was gibberish. The automated note that is going out includes a donation number that is meaningless to our donors, but excludes the source of the gift (stock, check etc) with is very important to our donors. It is a very abrupt notification and not stating in a manner that donors appreciate. One donor thought it was spam and was concerned.

Yes! Also, the system should allow SMTP-AUTH settings to send the receipts from our own domain so they don't go to spam.
