I've said this other places but Foundant could learn from Network for Good for their in-software ability to edit/personalize templates, print envelopes, etc. They keep every letter you send on the account of the donor, so we can easily see what and when you send it. All the downloading uploading is frustrating when you want to tweak and update letters.

To echo what others have said: a) Why is the envelope template name and address smack dab in the middle when postal regulations require it to be lower and to the right? Makes me think the template was designed by someone who's never had to actually mail a letter. b) Yes, we need ability to choose our own font as (someone already said), this generic one looks cheap. Actually, all templates have the same generic, ugly, cheap font. We CFs are accustomed to having a better image. Yes, there are work-arounds such as downloading a CSV and doing our own mail merge but that defeats the purpose of having expensive, all-encompassing software.

I would like to be able to change the merge fields on the envelopes as well, it looks like it's pulling from the organization, household, individual fields and I would prefer it pull from the mailing label field for the name.

I never use the envelope feature in csuite - I copy and paste into an open word doc in envelope window there to print my envelopes. The arial basic looks cheap and tacky, besides which when I have tried it never lines up in the right place.

Has anyone noticed where the recipient address prints when printing envelopes? It is in the middle of the envelope with no ability to move it down a few space. Having envelope templates will resolve that issue as well.

Would like to have the ability to change font on the 'print envelope' function so it would match customized fonts in letters.

Currently, there is no way to change a font or make it bold in the Print Envelope option. I would like to be able to set my preference on the font.

Could you have a printer do envelopes for you with your logo and return address? We do ours at a printer so all we have to do is run it through once for the donor's address. We typically order a few boxes at a time for a price break.

I am for this idea! Especially the option to add the contact name. Mail these days gets shuffled between departments, and it's important for us to have a contact name on the envelope.

I really would like a template envelope too!!! We want to change the placement of the address and the font, so the font matches our letters.

This is most definitely needed! The Font does not match our preferred letter font, and the positioning is way too high. Right now we are doing the print outside of Foundant.

We would like to have a contact printed on an envelope in the grant letters area. So I believe a template would accomplish this.

Allow formatting of envelope to:
1. choose a font
2. allow for positioning the address to fit appropriately on stationery

Yes-- this was going to be my submission as well. We'd like to be able to use the functionality which is so convenient but the fonts don't match that of the letters for various funds and we have different logos for many of our programs as well. This would save time and increase efficiency greatly!

CSuite should allow us to upload envelope templates, similar to donation letter and grant letter templates. That way we could add our return address and logo to the template and print everything at once.

Right now we either have to run the envelope through our printer once to get the logo/return address and then a second time to get the recipient's address on the envelope. Or we have to have the envelopes pre-printed by a printer. In either case this is extra cost and work for staff.
