Grant request notification for staff - can they be targeted based on steward designation?
Is there a way for CSuite to send grant request notifications that come in exclusively from a philanthropic advisor's portfolio? We have staff members assigned as Stewards for both donors and funds. If a grant request comes in from of these donors or for one of these funds, it would be nice to be able to notify that particular staff member, without it being an "all or nothing" proposition. Certainly, we have some staff that needs to be notified of each incoming grant, as they will be processing each one. But for other staff, it would be quite helpful if…

Send or print grant letters in bulk, not just by check batch
We should be able to send grant letters in bulk, not just by check batch. Similar to how you can check the box for the tax receipts you would like to send all at once.

Custom Sort Order for Checks & Letters
It would be very helpful if we we could customize the order in which checks and check letters were sorted. We would like to be able to sort by the Grant Letter template. We have eight difficult templates that involve multiple constituencies and a number of letters. If they were grouped, we could process each type all at once which would reduce the opportunity for errors when processing the mailing.

Ability to Import Recurring Grants
There are times throughout the year where it is necessary to put several recurring grants into the system to set everything up for the next year or based upon requests from a fund holder. In order to do this it has to be done one by one in the system. It would be helpful to have a way to get several recurring grants into the system via a front-end import.

Recurring Grants - New Interval
It would be useful to have more interval options than are available for recurring grants. In particular, we would like to have an 'every other year' option.
An archived idea once suggested a 'twice a month' interval, so other foundations do occasionally wish to set up recurring grants outside of standard intervals.

Fiscal Sponsor Field on Grantee Designation to Auto-Populate on Grants
We would like for the option to pick a Fiscal Sponsor on the Grantee Designation of a grantee's profile so that it automatically populates on a grant record when it is created for that grantee. Similar to how the Grant Type field on the Grantee Designation automatically populates on a grant record, this would save us time and clicks.

Fund Balance Check on Grant Posting
When posting a grant, the system should check the balance of the fund no matter what the grant date or posting date is. Currently the system only checks the fund balance and gives a warning message if the grant date and date it's being posted are the same. If the grant date is in the future (as all of ours are), the system will allow you to post grants over the balance in the fund. Default Grant Sort
I think grants in the various buckets used to be sorted by grantID by default, but now I can't tell how they're sorted. I know I can choose any column to sort by, but can it go back to default sorting by grantID like before? Thanks for considering.

Add an edit feature to the distribution calculation
Please add an edit option to the distribution calculation after you click review and before posting. More than 100 of our scholarships have a defined payout. I change each amount to the defined payout which is shown in the distribution type. (We have 25 different distribution types with a define payout). Sometimes I hit the enter button and it goes to the next page before I finish. Would like to be able to go back in and edit the remaining without creating a new distribution calculation. memo line on grant checks
Please move the creation of the memo line from the Grant Payment Schedule section to the initial creation of a grant, similar to the voucher creation. It is not intuitive to have the memo line where it is now.

Checkbox on grants - do not affect / apply to spendable
It would be helpful to have a checkbox on grants to control whether the grant affects the spendable balance or not. Of course, the default behavior should be for the grant to decrease the spendable balance of the fund. Occasionally, we have grants that should not affect the spendable balance of the fund, and currently, we need to perform a manual adjustment for these grants. Set Grant Letter When Creating Grant, not have to edit then set grant letter
When creating a grant, I need the option to set which grant letter I want during the creation of the grant instead of entering the information, then saving, then having to go back and edit the grant to set the grant letter. I usually end up forgetting to set the letter. My way would save a few steps in the process.

Grant Notifications: Ability to customize email/subject line
Make the grant notification email something we can edit, or at least edit the subject line. Some of our donors get confused by the "Request Confirmation" subject line and feel like they have to respond to the email. Something like "Grant Requests Received" would be more helpful.

grant catalogue dates
We would like to have the start and ends dates for grant catalogue requests to be tied to the individual requests in our grants catalogue rather than tied to the entire catalogue. We recently had a request that needs to be removed from the catalogue prior to it's full funding due to a change in the entity that owns the project asking for funds. Add Changes Made on "Edit Pay Schedule" to the Grant Log
CSuite is not logging anything that happens on the “Edit Pay Schedule” page (….\grant\schedule?grant_id=xxxx) for a Grant record.
Is there any way that you can capture changes to the payment lines on a grant that are made on the "Edit Payment Schedule" page and record them in the log file for the grant?
Not sure how reasonable this request is, but right because changes are not captured, the log does not always line up with what is on the grant record for payment details.

Copied grants - please make default grant & payment date the new grant date
Hello - it would be wonderful if a copied grant would automatically change the Grant Date and the Payment Date to the new date. Otherwise the copy function is really only partially helpful. Thank you!

Add Tribute option for Grant Requests
This idea has been posted before, with many votes. I'm adding it again. In the new fund advisor portal, please add the option to add a tribute to grant requests. Donors want this option and a donation note is easily missed.

Grant Request Bucket - checkboxes for requests to create grants
For the Request bucket in Grants, it would be helpful if there were individual checkboxes for requests to create grants, similar to what’s available in the Award Letter and Voucher buckets. There are times where we just want to select one or a select group from a list and we don’t have that option now.
