  1. It would be great for SmartSimple to provide a message board where all SmartSimple clients can exchange and share questions/ideas/solutions. Message board will have a working search functionality where clients can search for solutions before posting questions for help.

It is critical and imperative for our work that the ability to choose different email addresses when using Email Templates/Group Email is implemented again (in the deprecated personal email settings). This has a major impact on the work that we do. We rely on this feature quite heavily. Without this feature we need to email stakeholders manually, which is taking a step back for us.

  4. Fix the Advanced Search feature with the following improvements:
    - open the search in a modal window so we can see all the criteria in the search
    - provide functionality to change the order of criteria
    - Include previously used queries dropdown (either customizable or most recent X queries)
    - return the closing parenthesis
    - add a "power user" option for people to include their own SQL queries

Enhance the SmartSimple platform with an AI-driven assistant that supports developers during configuration by offering real-time suggestions such as field types, AI tools, syntax guidance, and automated script generation. This assistant would analyze existing configurations and scripts to recommend improvements, flag potential issues, and answer natual language questions (e.g., “How do I call an OpenAI function in web page view?”).

    Together, these features would create a smarter, more supportive configuration environment that reduces the time and effort for developers to research on resolutions, improves code accuracy, and accelerates development.

  8. Can there be a way to choose your system's preferred default for SmartField inclusion? Currently it defaults to Include. Ideally we'd much rather it default to Exclude, or at least give us the option to choose our default.

    The issue is that with numerous system admins making changes or adding fields over time, we inevitably are forgetting to toggle this to Exclude and errant fields then show up in our exported pdf files - that we often are completely unaware of. On the L2 view within the L1, there are two scroll bars on the right and then a bottom scroll bar below all the L2s. if there are many L2s on the list, one would have to scroll all the way down to move the scroll bar to the right. It would be nice to have the bottom scroll bar be static on the page.

  10. It would be helpful see how many records total are selected from a list we are viewing instead of having to manually count. Some of our lists span well over 100 records for different things and if we're needing to select specific records on the list to change the statuses, there is nothing at the top of the page to indicate how many as been selected.

  12. The current API services offered by SmartSimple are confusing in the response our team receives when calling them. For example:
    - If there are missing variables in the call, it will respond a 200 - OK in almost all circumtances.
    - If there is an incorrect variable (for example, report instead of reportid), the API will reply a 401 error in the body of the response - which indicates the user does not have authorization to that report, when the error is that the variable was incorrectly parsed in the URL.

  13. After our first experience with the new T2P tool, we would like to suggest the implementation of the following enhancements:

    1. Pagination in "Changes Logged Against This Project"

    The current page to view, select and manage the changes lacks pagination. This makes navigating large sets of changes difficult, especially when we need to manually select or unselect hundreds of changes.

    Pagination would significantly improve usability and efficiency.

    1. Promoted indicator should be tied to ENVIRONMENT

    We have noted several that the current behaviour is not ideal. The main suggestions would be:

  14. Field Change History should be logged whenever data is updated through Autoloader or by workflows triggered via Autoloader, to ensure a complete audit trail. Autoloader should include a configurable setting that enables Field Change History tracking, similar to the existing capability available through API functions.

  15. I would like to be able to give users the ability to copy an existing system listview and save it as a personal listview.

    Currently, a system list view can only be copied if a user has EDIT access to it. This access is only granted if you are a UTA Admin or a Global Admin.

    My users are not system admins or UTA admins for Grant Manager, so they do not have the ability to EDIT or copy a system list view.

  16. Currently, descriptions for uploaded files can be added. It will be helpful to be able to report on each uploaded files, with their description and upload date/time, and user. It will be helpful for staff/reviewers to be able to have a list of files that were uploaded, with the description at hand, as filenames may not be as descriptive.
    Also, since file upload is available thru autoloader, it will nice to be able to add descriptions of files when uploaded thru autoloader.

  17. The current functionality within listviews allows the user, if the option is enabled, to request the download of the files in a specific Upload - Multiple file storage field to a ZIP file.

    This functionality is not currently available for the field type Upload - Image. We would like to have this option available, as the current workaround requires the configuration of 2 API services and short script to get the same result.

  18. All our emails are sent from "no-reply@smartsimple.eu"
    However, even if this is a "no-reply" email address and we describe in the email body the one to use to reply, users continue to use the "reply" button of their email client. So, we would like to define, at the email template level, the reply email address to use (can't be a global parameter as multiple internal teams are involved).
    For now, we try to use the "(reply-to)" feature in cc (see screenshot - do not remove it!) but this is not very practical

The ability to export the custom field list from L1, L2 or L3, users, orgs or any system object, with settings such as mandatory toggle, description, select values, and including the role, status, and type permission settings, into Excel, or the ability to build a report builder report where you can customize the settings to be exported. The system design summary pulls some of this data into a word table format, which can be copied into Excel, but it is cumbersome and only copies from the core fieldset.   20. When we need to update the custom field permissions, the Permission Quick Edit is often unusable. Once you scroll down a small amount, you lose the header row and can't tell what role or status you're changing. Same for when you scroll to the right, you lose the Custom Field column on the far left and have no idea what field you're editing.
