Additionally, please add Payment Date field to the "Create Grant" screen. It can be optional, similar to the Decision Date field.

Please add this option to the grants area menu, between "Edit Decision Date" and "Set Grant Type" (see attached image for reference).
Why This Matters:
From an accounting perspective, the grant date drives when the expense is posted to the GL. However, grants are scheduled for payment on a future date.. not the same date as a grant date. Currently, we have manually edit the payment date grant when it is created grant by grant. There is not an option to enter a payment date when a grant is created.A bulk edit option is critically needed as it would save significant time and make it most efficient for pulling grant payment files to submit to the finance department.

This is highly critical issue.To date, in FIMS and now CSuite, our CF has closed out fund, transferred to new fund and add notes to state new fund is from a fund conversion and also use a custom field to note the new fund is sourced from a fund conversion. Not only do we lose clear audit trail of the fund's donation/grant history. More importantly, the distribution calculation on this new fund is not accurate since the system doesn't have 20 quarters of fund balances. They live back in the retired fund.

We capture Establishing Gift Amount when creating a fund. It is critical to have the option to select custom field type = number/amount.

Please prioritize implementing this change. If other text fields in the profile area, are exportable, it doesn’t make sense that one can be exported in a custom report and the other cannot. This inconsistency limits our reporting capabilities and creates unnecessary and inefficient workarounds. Thank you!

Agreed! The note published today indicates the setting is controlled by the individual user but that is not the case. My team asked me to turn it off right away.
