Assign Specific Evaluators to Specific Shared Documents
It would be helpful if there was a way to only select specific evaluators to have visibility of a Shared Document in GLM. For example, we have several different grant review committees and wouldn't want them to have access to other committee information (such as supplemental grants meeting materials).

Edit Fields in "Make Payment"
The grants staff in our foundation coordinate with our accounting team in order to get grant payments out. We need to be able to note payment as Ready, In Progress, or Complete to help both teams project manage. (for example, an in-process payment could be a check that is written but not yet approved by the CFO or sent). There would be immeasurable value to allowing the fields in the "Make Payment" form to be editable/customizable like every other form in the GLM.... Does anyone know if editing the "Make Payment" form in the GLM is something in-the-works? Thanks!

Character Count for Evaluators Viewing Application
Administrators and applicants are able to view the "character count" for applicants' text area questions. It shows below in green.
We would like the option for evaluators, in their side-by-side evaluation form, to see the character count underneath the question, as it is displayed for administrators and applicants.
We don't necessarily want to encourage our evaluators to only consider character count, as we say the quality of answers matter more than the number of words/length of response, but it may help evaluators when they are in between two scores.

Character count report
As grantmakers we are encouraged to provide generous character limits for applicants while trying to encourage clear and concise writing. I think it would be helpful in establishing character limits if Foundant could allow us to generate a report showing actual character counts for each question in a form vs. the character limit. Then we could easily know if applicants are bumping up on these limits. Together with our qualitative assessment as to the quality of answers, this quantitative data could guide more informed setting of character limits.

add a "Recommender Name" field for an applicant to enter
It would be great to be able to personalize the email templates that go out to third parties. Obviously I can hand edit when I write one-offs, but the ones that get spot out from the application - kinda tacky to not have a salutation for them.

Highlight select dates in due date calendar pop-up
In addition to not assigning due dates that fall on a weekend, I also like to ensure they aren't falling a holiday, or other date that the Foundation's offices are closed. Right now I have to refer to an external calendar when assigning forms to ensure that the due dates I assign follow the rules. I'd like to be able to input dates (likely in the GLM site settings) that would be highlighted (i.e. font color = red) in the calendar pop-up, so I will have a visual indicator to not select those dates when assigning due dates.

request documents viewable by organization contacts
When documents are attached to a request (lives under the documents tab on the request summary), currently the only visibility options are internal or applicant-facing only. Greater functionality to have the option to also make these attached documents viewable by members of an organization (who have view organization history enabled) when viewing requests under organization history. Right now, other organization contacts cannot view these attached documents if they are not the applicant.

Is there any way to have a summery of all the processes open at the top when they go to the apply page instead of scrolling down to look at them all? That would be very helpful. Especially if you have grants for specific areas.

Check Cancelation
We mail checks for smaller grant payments, and occasionally those checks are lost. We typically cancel the lost checks with our bank and then reissue a new check donation. How are others tracking canceled checks in the GLM? I'm seeing where you can cancel an installment, but that is only available if the installment hasn't yet been paid. Since we issued the check already, we marked it as paid, removing that option. How are others dealing with logging lost checks/reissues in the GLM?

Application preview mode improvements
Although it tells the applicant that it is a preview only when you switch cells, however, we still had an applicant not realize she was in preview mode for some reason. Would it be possible to somehow lock those answer blocks so that they couldn't be typed in? And/or a big red warning at the top of the form?

Radio buttons on Tables
I like the new table feature. It would be great to have an option to use radio buttons. For Yes/No questions, it would eliminate the need for applicants to click the dropdown arrow and then Yes or No. Half the clicks needed for each table that includes them.

approve installment for Csuite
I always found the required step of clicking the "thumbs up" in GLM, after sending an award to Csuite odd and redundant. Now that thumbs up has become a toggle button, but there's no identification on it unless you hover over it...making it hard to notice. Ideally I'd recommend that step not be required. If needed, at least make it a larger button that says "Approve Installment for Csuite"

Add more characters to BCC within email templates- Currently only 200 characters is about 5 addresses
I wanted to email a lot of addresses outside of Foundant.
Using an email template i have created.

Organization comment copied into all requests with that org.
Have an option to insert/copy a single comment into every request from a single organization. I.e. when input a comment into the organization, have an option to "apply this comment to all requests with this organization." Often we have information that applies to all requests from a single org, but need the comment visible in the request (rather than putting in only as an org comment). Having to manually go into each request and copy/paste the same comment is tedious. Thank you!

multiple applications
When multiple applications are open, increase the space between the blocks of each application to help applicants better understand which application they are applying for.
Especially with the "Apply" button at the top of each application section, our applicants are frequently hitting the "Apply" button for the next opportunity in the list thinking it applies to the opportunity they just read about. Increasing the space or adding a visible line to visually separate each application would go a long way to fixing this frequent issue.
