Check Cancelation
We mail checks for smaller grant payments, and occasionally those checks are lost. We typically cancel the lost checks with our bank and then reissue a new check donation. How are others tracking canceled checks in the GLM? I'm seeing where you can cancel an installment, but that is only available if the installment hasn't yet been paid. Since we issued the check already, we marked it as paid, removing that option. How are others dealing with logging lost checks/reissues in the GLM?

Application preview mode improvements
Although it tells the applicant that it is a preview only when you switch cells, however, we still had an applicant not realize she was in preview mode for some reason. Would it be possible to somehow lock those answer blocks so that they couldn't be typed in? And/or a big red warning at the top of the form?

Radio buttons on Tables
I like the new table feature. It would be great to have an option to use radio buttons. For Yes/No questions, it would eliminate the need for applicants to click the dropdown arrow and then Yes or No. Half the clicks needed for each table that includes them.

approve installment for Csuite
I always found the required step of clicking the "thumbs up" in GLM, after sending an award to Csuite odd and redundant. Now that thumbs up has become a toggle button, but there's no identification on it unless you hover over it...making it hard to notice. Ideally I'd recommend that step not be required. If needed, at least make it a larger button that says "Approve Installment for Csuite"

Add more characters to BCC within email templates- Currently only 200 characters is about 5 addresses
I wanted to email a lot of addresses outside of Foundant.
Using an email template i have created.

Organization comment copied into all requests with that org.
Have an option to insert/copy a single comment into every request from a single organization. I.e. when input a comment into the organization, have an option to "apply this comment to all requests with this organization." Often we have information that applies to all requests from a single org, but need the comment visible in the request (rather than putting in only as an org comment). Having to manually go into each request and copy/paste the same comment is tedious. Thank you!

Send email notification to users when they are added as users in Foundant
When users are added to Foundant, an email notification should be generated and sent to the users email address.

multiple applications
When multiple applications are open, increase the space between the blocks of each application to help applicants better understand which application they are applying for.
Especially with the "Apply" button at the top of each application section, our applicants are frequently hitting the "Apply" button for the next opportunity in the list thinking it applies to the opportunity they just read about. Increasing the space or adding a visible line to visually separate each application would go a long way to fixing this frequent issue.

Urgent: Remove White Background on Instructions
If I copy instructional text within SLM, I have a white background appear for text. Admin can view this in the "Edit" part of the App in the Process.
Evaluators are now getting confused seeing a white background and then the white text area in a resume section for example. Can Foundant please adjust this on a major scale? I reached out to support and the answer was for me to change the text to plain text and edit from there. However, this is appearing across our site and would require a lot of manual work.

When creating a new account, allow copy/paste in the Password Confirmation field
When creating a new account, you're required to type in a password and then confirm the password in the next field. You cannot paste it into this password confirmation field though. This can dissuade applicants from creating long, secure passwords that have a variety of special characters, letters, and numbers.

non-MS Word options for creating Merge Templates
Similar to this idea https://idealab.foundant.com/forums/339786-glm-slm-idea-lab/suggestions/43307628-google-docs MS Word is not always available. For example when working from home and using personal computers or for organizations that opt for Google Docs or a free open source solution like Libre Office. I did a test just now and editing an example template in Google Docs, exporting as a .docx, then creating a new Template with it seems to break all the formatting of even fields that were not edited.
It would be great if having a ready copy of MS Word was not required to use this feature. Perhaps there could be another…

report due date
It would be helpful if all organization contacts could see reports that are due. They don't all need to be able to open the form, just see what report is due when. Grantees frequently contact us because they know a report is due soon, but they can't see it in GLM.

sandbox training courses
New here so I hope my suggestions are appropriate. I am completing the SLM training and working my way through courses. I have a hard time reading the white pop up boxes especially seeing the arrow off the bubble that points to where I need to click. I also think that audio of this would help me follow along better. I am not great at reading a screen and skim through more.

Language Toggle
It would be great if on the back end of an application, we could feed a translation of the questions so that applicants could then toggle between the versions and submit an application in the language easiest to them. Right now, we have two separate processes built for each language and it's a bit clunky/makes pulling reports more difficult.

SAM UEI (Unique Entity Identifier) as a standard field
Add SAM UEI field to organization info page as a standard field so it can be added to the waffle grid to view in "open approvals."
SAM UEI replaces DUNS as a required reporting field for all federal grants.

user roles
It's also about user roles and auto emails attached to F/U forms...
We really need an additional user role for our regional directors. Our program managers (in the Grant Manager role) do 99% of the lift in GLM, but every so often we need to be able to bump a form up to a director. But our directors are also in the GM role, so everyone gets the same email. Our current work around is to assign the form to the director, but that doesn't always catch their attention.
Also, making the payment forms approvable would be great. That way…
