  1. I always found the required step of clicking the "thumbs up" in GLM, after sending an award to Csuite odd and redundant. Now that thumbs up has become a toggle button, but there's no identification on it unless you hover over it...making it hard to notice. Ideally I'd recommend that step not be required. If needed, at least make it a larger button that says "Approve Installment for Csuite"

  2. It would be helpful to be able to print just the questions associated with one opportunity in the Universal Application. Currently you can preview, but when you print the questions list it prints the entire UA. Donors like to be able to see their application, and aren't interested in and get confused by seeing more than what they need.

  3. The report builder in GLM and SLM is driven by the grant/scholarship process. It would be helpful to be able to build reports outside of the process framework.

    We want a central place to track non-profits and contacts in GLM who are also profiles in cSuite. For example, to figure out who is registered in GLM to submit an LOI or application or follow-ups so we can compare with the information on those profiles (org and contact) in cSuite. Bonus points if the Grant ID from GLM, and the Profile ID in cSuite, could be included in the report!

  4. Currently, anyone with the "Grant Manager" role needs to have requests assigned to them by an admin. Admins do this by going to a request's summary page and linking the Grant Manager there. However, you need to do this ONE REQUEST AT A TIME. We have over 350 requests that we need to assign to a grant manager (we need flexibility in deactivating privileges, so we cannot make them an admin). That means an admin will need to go to 350+ request summaries and repetitively assign the request to this user.

  5. It would be great to have the completed follow-ups more easily available from the Requests & Decisions page. Currently, from "Requests & Decisions" completed follow-ups are only accessible by choosing "Follow-Ups Assigned" and then selecting each individual request/organization. I think the narrower group of only follow-ups that have been completed would make workflow better for admins using this page to navigate different requests, as well as board members, evaluators or grant managers who want to view completed follow-ups. We repeatedly run into an issue with organization records in which one org (such as a university or community foundation) is the "parent" organization, and a department or sponsored program is a subsidiary or component fund. It would be helpful if GLM had the ability to show those relationships, have different addresses where needed for the subsidiary, and to segregate the subsidiary's contacts and grant history. For example, I am far more likely to need information about the McDonald Observatory (part of UT Austin) than the university overall.

  11. It's also about user roles and auto emails attached to F/U forms...

    We really need an additional user role for our regional directors. Our program managers (in the Grant Manager role) do 99% of the lift in GLM, but every so often we need to be able to bump a form up to a director. But our directors are also in the GM role, so everyone gets the same email. Our current work around is to assign the form to the director, but that doesn't always catch their attention.

    Also, making the payment forms approvable would be great. That way…

  12. We input scholarship fund information as instruction questions on our UA application form. We would like to be able to share these to our evaluation forms so that the applicants and the evaluators both have the fund information with staff only needing to update the fund information in one place (currently we have to update in both the application and on the evaluation forms).

  13. It would be great to have the ability to select when copying a request into a new process, in which stage we want it to be - LOI vs Application. We are using LOI Forms in all our processes, though sometimes the LOI gets approved under a process (Inquiry) and the actual application to be completed by our grantee is under a different process. We use the inquiry process to collect basic information to see if we would fund them and identify the type of application they need to complete.

  14. Hello!

    I understand the logic of the apply page, but it would be ideal if our organization had more control with choosing the order of processes more automatically. We would like our process manager to reflect the order of processes in the Apply page exactly.

    Currently, we have different members working on various processes which affects the date the EQ was created and the order it will appear within the Process, despite how it is listed in the process manager.

    I know a personal solution would be for us to create EQ's in the order we want the processes to…

  15. It would be helpful in the Update User section if there was a field for the individual's preferred greeting that could be pulled into email templates. We have had quite a few comments that the traditional salutation prefix greeting is restrictive to one's identity - as not everyone is a fan of Mx.

    Additionally, many of our applicants prefer to be addressed by their first names, while others prefer the more formal Dr. Smith or Pastor Smith for example. Adding a field for a preferred greeting would allow us to use the batch email feature while still respecting individual preferences.

  17. We have over 60 scholarship processes. Between setting most of these up 4 years ago & adding new funds along the way, we discovered lots of fields/Qs that were not synced. It would be so helpful to have a report that would show which need to be synced.
    We've recently discovered that Follow Up Forms and Approvals also have unsynced fields.
    It is a chore to discover these when trying to run a report & having to select one field in e.v.e.r.y. process and then merge them all.

  18. Limits on Project Request Field

    Please allow us to enter regular expressions for the project request field or impose limits in any way. Currently, we use this field for scholarship applications as Initials and Last 4 Digits in an attempt to reduce as much bias during evaluation season. However, despite an 8 character limit, students will forgo their initials, etc. It would be great to have a unified type of answer.

    Example: IAS 4777 or IS 4777
    Regular Expression provided by Foundant Support would solve this - ^([a-zA-Z]{2,3})((\s)([0-9]{4}))?$

  19. Notifications to Administrator for when reports are marked complete by program staff. Without having this it is making payments go out late due to program staff not sending email to administrator. It adds an extra step.

  20. When viewing a follow up, it shows tabs beside it with the Approval and Application; however, it does not show all follow ups. It would be helpful if each follow up was visible and I could click on all information associated with that particular application. For example, I usually have 2 follow ups with an application. One is the grant agreement and one is the follow up report. I'd like to be able to click between the two.
