Fund Advisor Grant Recommendation Search For Other Grantees

When a donor logs onto the portal to make a grant recommendation and opts to use the search for other grantee function, if the fund advisor types in New York, an error message appears. If the fund advisor types NY, a search will be initiated. Is there any way to adjust the setting so that if you type New York rather than NY, the search will not be interrupted. I assume the same is for any state, e.g., NJ, SC, NC, etc.1 vote -
tribute notify relationship
It would be nice if we could include the relationship of who the notified person is on the tribute. That way, when we are sending notification letters we don't have to look up how they're related as it would be noted in the tribute notify section.

The Tribute list view is now a custom report with the ability to sort each column and have the ability to apply filters, save filtered lists, export, email and load for future use. On the left hand menu, there is also a new Delete Unused menu item. This will allow clients to delete any unused tributes that do not have donations attached to the tribute or if the tribute does not have associated notify information. If the notify address or email information is not completed, the tribute information will move to a non-notify tribute field. This will allow clients to retain the information about the tribute on the donation in a text field.

fund statements - should not produce for funds opened after the timeframe being run
In our most recent batch of quarterly fund statements for the 2nd quarter for 2022, the system produced statements for funds that were just opened in 3rd quarter. The system should take fund open date into account when producing quarterly statements. You will always be running them after the end of a quarter and likely have new funds opened between the quarter end date and when you run the statements. This had not been an issue for us in the past and seems to be a glitch in the recent fund statement updates.

More Profile/Donor fields for event_ticket_receipt template (for mailing receipts)
Our events/tickets are being created and 'purchases' are being entered by staff, NOT the purchaser/attendee via Stripe. We would like to generate receipts for event/ticket purchases and MAIL them, via USPS, to the purchaser in one fell swoop from the receipt template itself. HOWEVER, there is no field available to merge in to create an address block for the donor/attendee - only fields available are (#for each receipt) donor.name, donor.email. and donor.phone.
Can't we also somehow pull in fields like donor.label, donor.address, and donor.salutation (et al)? This info exports in the CSV, but could it not be folded in for…
9 votes9/7/2023: Templates: Added additional fields to the Event Ticket Receipt. Added the guest registration link. One thing to note is that if the link is close to expiring, it will create a new one invalidating the current one. Added additional fields: Address, CityStateZip, Address Name, Address State, Address City, Donor Salutation. Mailing Label will now work like the tax receipt Mailing Label field, if the mailing label is complete it will pull that information, if not it will pull the name. In the ticket loop, campaign id, ticket_id, ticket price, ticket totals/sum for quantity of tickets, purchase amount, donation amount.

Voucher approvals
We contract out our check writing service. We would like a way for CSuite to notify the service VIA EMAIL that vouchers have been entered but not posted; then the service can review the coding on the vouchers and post them so CSuite will then email notification to our director to approve them for payment.

The ability to merge two organizations with different names
We have organizations that change their names and would like the ability to merge the organization with the former name into the newly named organization.

Bulk editing of grant approvers for multiple funds
Bulk editing of grant approvers for groups of funds: Tired of hunting through dozens or hundreds of funds to update approvers? It would be great if we could edit all, or edit a group of funds at one time to update the grant approvers for those funds.

"Scholarship-student name withheld" language on fund statements
Since this language is hard coded, it might be nice to soften it a bit. "Recipient name private" or some such language that explains why the name is withheld.

Urgent: Fix Scholarship Notes Reports Links
Please update the links for the Scholarship Item ID in the Scholarship Notes report.
With the Sship Item ID, I should be able to hop into the scholarship item profile, however these links are incomplete and I receive an error message. Please see the pictures below. My workaround is to download the report and add the correct link, but it is not ideal. I've reached out to support, but to no avail.
The report is fantastic, but not as helpful if we can't hop into that student's profile via an accessible link.

tributes
There is a problem with the new update for Tributes. When you select the word document to begin your letter it erases the tribute from the notification list. If you were to experience any issues with your computer and couldn't finish your letter you would have no way to go back to see what letter you needed to do. Previously you had to select mark sent before it would it erase it from the list. I believe that feature needs to be added back.

Customize Envelope Template
The ability to be able to customize the envelope template would be extremely helpful. Currently, I have to run envelopes through twice to print our logo and mailing address and then again to print the recipients address on them. The ability to customize the envelope template would not only save time, but printing costs as well.

Please consider using non-gender terms for linking profiles such as "Parent" instead of "Father" or "Mother" and "Child" instead of "Daughter" or "Son". Or make in addition to.

interface
I love the new interface and the darker color on the left side of the screen, but the font is far too small! I like the style, but if it could be made larger and not light blue, that would be incredibly helpful! Please also bring back a way that makes alerts red or that can stand out. The red box was ugly before, but that's why it stood out and was its purpose.

New User Interface - please make links darker color or bold.
The new interface that was introduced today is great. However, some of our staff are reporting that it is hard to see areas with clickable links in the system. Please make the links a darker color or bold them for easier viewing. See the attached clip for an example.

memorials
Have tributes/memorials in CSuite be available for online donations to be chosen. With freeform tribute/memorial field on the donation page, we get variations of the person's name, especially if they use a nickname or abbreviation of their given name. This causes a new tribute to be created in CSuite but they are all the same person. If the donor could see a list of those already in the system and choose it, we would have a lot less clean up to do.

email type
Can we please add an option to select email type (home, business, personal, custom) in order to neatly organize a contact's various emails? This is extremely important to be able to communicate per a client's preferences. Many CRM's also allow a "custom type" where you can modify the type name. Thank you!
2 votesEmail is type is a customizable field. Select Profile Types from the left side menu in Profiles. A current email type can be edited by clicking into the ID. You also have the ability to Add Email Types on the left side menu.

test site tab color on chrome - change to RED if possible?
Hi! Is there any way you could change the Foundant logo on the Test site chrome tab to red? I sometimes have many tabs open when I am working in both test and real site and it would be AWESOME if the logo in the web tab was red (or a different color than real site). Thank you!!
3 votes6/12/2023: Site: Added a red outline around the Foundant icon for Sandbox environments in the web tab. This will allow for easily identifying which tab are Live environments vs. Sandbox when using several tabs. This will not show on the donation or portal sandbox pages, just the in-system tabs.

Add grant advisor, grant letter template, service area and grant types to recurring grants
Please allow for the entering of the grant advisor, grant letter template, service area and grant type fields when first entering a recurring grant so that letters will be generated without manually editing and so tracking of service areas and grants types will be accurate. (Currently these fields are not available so must be manually entered with each occurance.)

Ignore Suffixes on Searches
The system now ignores prefixes when specifying a search, which is great. So Mr. John Doe can be found by entering Doe, John. However, suffixes aren’t ignored. So Mr. John Doe Sr. has to be entered as Doe Sr., John. It would be great if suffixes could also be ignored on searches.

From Summit 2024 Idea Lab Live - Profiles: Enhanced the search of profiles to not require the suffix when searching for profiles. This will allow users more search capabilities on profiles.
