  2. Allow for a distribution type to be added with a percent type as 0.0000%. Some funds don't have a spending policy or are calculated manually. We need the ability to track those.

  3. When we indicate tax receipts were sent, it changes from "Not Sent" to "No". which is very confusing. It makes it read like we don't want Tax receipt sent. Can these descriptions be updated to something easier to follow? Not Sent to Sent? Thank you.

  4. When merging a duplicate with two identical addresses, merged profile should only include one address, as it does with email or phone numbers.

  6. It would be nice if the Deposit Date showed up on the deposit slip rather than the Creation Date. I know it is listed in the till with the deposit date, but it provides less confusion for everyone when it all matches.

    6/15/2023:Deposits: Updated the deposit slip to reflect the date deposited, instead of the date that the deposit slip was created.  Added the check number to display next to the donor name on the deposit slip. 

  7. Instead of one long PDF with multiple fund statements, each fund statement should be emailed separately. That way fund advisors with multiple funds can forward and share, as necessary, with the corresponding boards/accountants/family/etc.

  8. Separate the Attach File function from the Edit permission under Profiles. Right now you can only attach a file to a profile with full edit rights. Many of our PS team would like to be able to directly attach client documents without having access to fully edit the profile.

  9. Currently, when you mark an opportunity as closed, and select successful or unsuccessful, the system automatically stamps the opportunity with the current date and time. There is no option right now to select a prior date. Because we are linking funds to opportunities, I don't want to close it until that is complete. It would be helpful to select the closed date so that I can more accurately use this data in custom reports to view what closed in each month.

  11. It would be awesome if in the Global Search bar there was a way to distinguish which profile is an Organization vs. Individuals. Some of our individual profiles have their work organization field filled in. So when you Global Search the organization we end up with multiple options but no way to distinguish which one is the primary organization profile.

  12. Historical Vouchers (like Historical Donations) are designed for new customers who wish to bring history from their legacy systems WITHOUT posting to the CommunitySuite GL. Sounds useful...but once a customer is LIVE, depending on your workflow, a user can inadvertently create a historical voucher when they intended to create a LIVE voucher that DOES hit the GL. Detecting this and unwinding a transaction ranges from tedious to very difficult and needing support help. We have (7) to remediate....

  15. Please add an option after selecting checkrun to process electronic checks only. The current options are: vouchers, grants, scholarships but there are many times when we want to just quickly process only the electronic checks. Thanks!

    There is now a single check work flow, reducing clicks for clients. With this workflow the checking account, check type, date, and memo line are all one page.

    This enhancement has reduced the number of steps needed process checks in batch. From accounts payable, select create checks from the left side menu. That will open a table for a User to select the bank account and payment type before filtering the check batch.  This will filter the list to just that payment type set on the profile.  If there isn’t a payment type on the profile, that vendor will process the payment as a check. From this screen, clients now have the ability to name their batches for easy reference. Memo lines have moved into the voucher, grant, scholarship workflow.   16. The checks are writing the amount incorrectly with an extra "and" in an incorrect place. $1,550.50 should be written as One thousand five hundred fifty dollars and 50/100 not One thousand five hundred and fifty dollars and 50/100. The "and" should only come in before the cents.

  17. Every time a donor gives online it creates a new profile. In order to make merging these profiles easier, it would be nice if you could view the date the profile was created so you can easily tell which profile is newer.

  18. Fund Advisor Portal: Change Title on "Available Cash"
    We'd like for our advisors to be able see the amount available for granting in their funds but calling it "Available Cash" isn't technically correct and sounds crass. Can the name of this field be changed to "Available Amount" or "Amount Available for Granting"?

  19. I would like to be able to pull an accounts payable report that would give me the options to include either or both accounts payable checks and grant checks. We need to pull these reports for the auditors. (I.E. Accounts payable checks > $50,000).

    Enhancements to Accounts Payable was released on 11/2.  Here is the release note:  


    Accounts Payable: Updated the Accounts Payable list to include an aging schedule for Accounts, Grants and Scholarships Payable based on the date of the Voucher, Grant or Scholarship. Enhanced the Historical AP left menu option which populates a report that will “age” the payable by year based on the payment line detail for the grant or scholarship record. This report is commonly requested at year end as audit prep begins. The Grant or Scholarship ID has been added along with the award date. Columns have been added that reflect the payment line detail by year.

  20. Can you please make the project description box in the grant catalog bigger?

    It is very difficult to manage any HTML such as hyperlinks when the string gets bounced to the next line.

    10-4-2023: Grants: Enhanced the look of the Grant Catalog by adding tabs: Details, Grantees, Content.  This will allow for better organization of the fields within a grant Catalog.  The header box will be a quick reference point for the Catalog ID, Request Dates, Catalog Dates, and the Funding Goal.

    From the Details tab, users will find the detail options and settings, grant categories, and the reporting for the Grant Catalog.  Added the functionality for Grant Catalogs to allow for a Nonprofit to receive a donation amount over the Requested amount. This new option is a checkbox on the Grant Catalog Details tab, Allow Overfund Grants.    Once the grant has been fully funded, it will move from the Unfunded Bucket to the New Bucket.

    Grantees Tab will be house all of the Grantees information.  On the left hand menu, users will find a new options to Invite Grantees to the Grant…
