  1. Currently, we can get and list of emails for all Fund Advisors. I'd like to get Advisors by type of fund. For example, I'd like the emails for DAF owners only. We also have Designated funds, Scholarship funds, and funds of our Fiscally Sponsored programs. It would be great to be able to download an Fund Advisor email list at any time for each of these types of funds.

  2. It would be nice if when we created historic accts and grants payable reports that could be exported. We had to retype the information for our auditors to schedule out when grants expire. Also it would be awesome to have a field in grants that tells when they expire.

  3. When I create a financial report with a number of filters and click on an amount for more detail I'm given a list of all transactions, without the filters in place from my main report. Have to then start over re-filtering the detail list. Filters should carry over to the drill-down links.

  4. It would be great if we could type the recognition name in the profile and it would pre-populate based on that field, but we could override if only one member of a household was the donor. Also it would be great if recognition name could either be exported from donor records or profiles for our annual report.

  5. Having all campaigns listed in one compiled list is a little combersom. I'd suggest separating (2 boxes/lists) the active and inactive campaigns. By doing this it's easier to draw your attention to the active/ongoing ticket sales.

  6. Collecting information about each Registrant for an event, free or paid, seems to be an after thought. When the initial individual registers, the only data that is being collected is F/L names, and email, yet when a guest is added, all sorts of information is being gathered. This is assuming that all initial Registrants are in our database - not true. So by not providing more options for data collection you are in fact making mayhem in our database.

    Similarly, the event registration suggests it's a Paid program - we don't do paid events (at least not for the past…

    Campaigns:  Enhanced the campaign workflow to help with the tracking of events and mailings.  Each campaign will now be associated by type.  Campaign types are event, marketing or historical.  The assigned type will drive different campaign functionality.  A campaign categorized as events, will allow a user to create tickets, groups, and requests for the campaign.  Marketing will be used if the campaign is intended to create a mailing list to communicate with donors and other constituents.  Historical will be a way to move completed campaigns into a separate list for campaigns that are no longer being used by the foundation.  Campaigns will still be managed by user defined categories and can be archived within the category list.  The campaign page has been redesigned to have a bucket system just below the event information and image at the top of the page. Each bucket will then trigger different left hand menu…

  7. As we are transitioning from FIMS check forms to the ones that are Quickbooks format it would be great if we could chose the check form type by bank account so that we could use up old check stock for each account.

  9. on the Donate To A Fund page, the search/show all funds list option currently appears at the bottom of the page. We have a LOOOOONG list of funds so our donors end up scrolling a lot to reach the search box (or they use the keyboard shortcut of crtl+f to "find" on the active page). Is it possible to simply move the search/show all funds option to the top of this page?

  12. When we approve more than one grant in a bulk manner, all of the grants create vouchers. Since we frequently pay the grants over more than one payment, I have to go in and manually unpost the vouchers. It would be great if there was a question when you did bulk approval to ask if the system should post payment vouchers or not.

  14. When creating a grant, the creator can select from a number of templates. It would be good to have that same functionality when entering donations, so the person entering the donation could select a donation letter template right then on the spot. It would give them more flexibility and it would be quicker.

  15. When using Donation Letter templates or when downloading CSV files for Word Mailmerge, the first letters of the words in the tributes are capitalized. For example "In Honor of .." or "In Memory of..." These will always be used in a sentence such as "Your donation was In Honor of John Smith." It looks strange to have the capital "I" and "H" or "M" in the middle of the sentence. These should be lower case.

    Tributes: Donation Custom Fields are now available as merge fields in the In Honor and In Memory Templates. Two merge fields have been added to both templates: {{full_tribute_name}} returns "in honor(memory) of Tribute Name and {{us_full_tribute_name}} returns "In Honor(Memory) of Tribute Name.

  16. A scholarship distribution report with the following data included would be EXTREMELY helpful:
    • Student’s Full Name
    • Student’s ID Number
    • Student’s School Name
    • Student’s Scholarship(s) Name
    • Student’s Scholarship Award Amount

  17. It is very frustrating to only be able to enter a zip code rather than a city. It is important for us to distinguish between the different cities that are in our zip code. Any ideas?

  19. We have a donor advised fund with 7 advisors This is a fund set up by a family with young adult children to teach them about philanthropy.

    The format of this fund is that each adult child can request up to three grants per year with a granting limit of $2,500 per calendar year. Is this something that can be tracked on the advisor level? Is there some reporting that can be set up?

  20. It would be nice to be able to flag a profile to have access to the online portal, but not be labeled a fund adviser. For example, many of our clients want their quarterlies to me mailed to their accounting firm, etc - however, having their name show as a fund adviser is misleading!
