Fund Advisor Portal Enhancements Please
Although the current fund advisor portal element of the C-Suite platform does offer fundholders the opportunity to make grant advisements, the process is not very engaging and the design appears to the user as more of a back-office accounting process, rather than an engaging user experience. This is resulting in limited use by fundholders, resulting in more manual processing in the advisement and accounting work required in approving the advisements and processing the grant payments. Recurring Donation - give donors option to end or change amount on portal
It would be nice if recurring donors could login or follow a link in their monthly receipt email that would allow them to edit or cancel their recurring donations instead of having to call our office to make any changes or stop their donations.

Grant refunds post to spendable option
Please create an option (like the donations checkbox) or change the functionality so grant refunds post back to spendable. Cancellations post back to spendable, but not refunds. They are essentially the same only one has a refund check to deposit to the bank.

Allow Donors to Edit/Cancel recurring grant recommendations in the Portal
The portal gives donors the ability to set up recurring grants, but once they are entered, the donor has no way to edit them or cancel them without having to contact us.
We previously used Donor Central and it gave donors the option to "edit" (which actually walked them through re-entering a new recurring donation but with the org info prepopulated) or cancel.

Donor Portal - rename it in Foundant to Donor Portal from Fund Advisor
Can the "Fund Advisor" section when viewing a fund be renamed to "Donor Portal" to more accurately reflect it's function? We have different levels of Fund Advisors. True advisors, statement recipients only, etc. Not everyone connected to a fund is a Fund Advisor which creates confusion within the system.

We are getting an increasing amount of fund advisors wanting the flexibility to run fund statements on demand on the donor portal. It would be great if this could be introduced and if management are able to set date restrictions in system data

Allow Fund Advisors to See Household Receipts
Several of our Fund advisors have logged in to the Fund Portal to obtain a tax receipt, but are unable to access it because the gift was attributed to the household. Please update to allow a fund advisor who is part of a household to see the household tax receipts, in addition to their individual tax receipts.

Recurring Donations Communication to Donors
Currently, there does not appear to be a way for C-Suite to generate information in a tax receipt that includes confirmation of the set up of a recurring gift if a donor sets this up online. So, there is no communication generated to the donor thanking them for their recurring gift. Instead, they only receive the standard email/tax receipt acknowledging the current gift.
If we wanted to send a communication to our donors acknowledging the details of the recurring gift (how often, amount, end date etc.), we would have to send emails manually. I am concerned about the extra steps…

Recurring Grants - Donor Portal View
When donors submit a recurring grant through the portal, the request itself is listed in their grant history, in addition to each grant distribution. If we enter the recurring grant through CSuite, they do not see any indication that the grant is recurring in the donor portal.
We would love for donors to see a similar record when we create a recurring grant to when they submit a recurring request, indicating that we have entered the grant as recurring, with the amount, frequency, and start date, as well as max recurrences.

Fund Advisor Portal: Visibility for grant checks cleared
As local Community Foundations continue to compete with national DAF providers, we are continually asked to bring technology improvements that our donors are seeing elsewhere. One frequent request from our donor advisors is the ability to see when grant checks have been cashed by the grantee organizations they have supported through their DAFs.
This request asks that you consider what might be involved in bringing this improvement, even incrementally. Included is a screen snip of the information currently available through a Fidelity DAF. The donor advisor can clearly see when the check was cleared, in addition to the internal processing…

Donation Notes - viewable in donation history
It would be great if a fund advisor could view notes made on a donation. We have a new fund where many donors have left very nice memorial notes on their donations, but the fund advisor can't view them. I have to go in and export them to excel and send them in a report.
The fund was created in memory of his late wife and it would be nice for him to see those notes instead of having to wait for me to send a report.43 votes -

It would be helpful to have the ability to have the grant description required in the donor portal when fund advisors are recommending grants. This will satisfy the need for a "purpose of grant" for Donor Advised Funds.

Rename Unsubmitted Grant Requests to Grant Cart
Rename Unsubmitted Grant Requests to Grant Cart ... people are used to having a cart. Right now we have to check the "list cart" to make sure donors aren't leaving intended grants in their cart. Also, any thoughts to send emails to donors if they have an unsubmitted grant in their cart to remind them? Like you receive if you left something in your shopping cart?

Recognition Name Not Shown on the Fund Portal
The Recognition Name is not shown as a column on the Contributions tab of the Fund Portal. When the information is exported, the Recognition Name is shown, but that isn’t something that a fund rep is going to do every time they access the portal to look at donations. Donors are misled into thinking that the Recognition Name is being shared with the fund rep, when, in actuality, the fund rep has to make an effort to find it. Can this be added?

Donor/Fund Advisor Portal Donate Tab
Currently the "Donate" tab in the Donor Portal shows the name of the individual's fund and any funds we are promoting. We like the option to promote several funds, however, the donor's fund gets lost in that page as it just appears alphabetically. We would love the option to float their fund to the very top so it's easier to find.

Sadly, my idea is in here, just archived - with over 50 votes no less!!
Come on guys, this makes sense and is a nice option for donors to see clearly and for those who receive the notices to get a personal note. Folks make notes, but there's no way for the ack recipients to get them (without us doing cutting and pasting...) Original post below. Donor portal: Add a required check box when submitting a grant to confirm Grant Eligibility
It would be helpful to have donors acknowledge and confirm with a required checkbox before submitting a grant to confirm that the grant they are submitting is not to be used for Non-Eligible Grantees.
Meaning grants cannot be made for memberships, fulfillment of legally binding pledges, tickets to events, or anything else that provides benefits to the fund holder.
We have several donors that submit grant requests where this is unclear and we have to call and confirm. This checkbox would allow them to acknowledge and call us if any questions about the grant's intention come up.
