Fund Advisor Grant Notifications when a grant request is submitted
I see that it appears fund advisors used to received notification once they had submitted a grant request, and that, after user feedback, it was changed to send the notification after the grant was approved and paid. However, I would love to see both options available. We do have some fund advisors who want a confirmation email of their submitted request in real time, as immediate back up. While I recognize that they could print the home page showing the submitted request, for some of our "older school" advisors, this is still not satisfactory.

The new content blocks can be found in the Fund Advisor Content menu. The new content blocks are HTML compatible.

Allow fund advisors to run fund statements on portal
We are getting an increasing amount of fund advisors wanting the flexibility to run fund statements on demand on the donor portal. It would be great if this could be introduced and if management are able to set date restrictions in system data

Multiple Grant Recommendations and Saved Grant Recs
It would be great if funds advisors could submit more than 1 grant recommendation at a time AND have the ability to save grant recommendations in the portal to come back to at a later time.

Donor/Fund Advisor Portal: Grantee Search
It would be super nice if our Donor Portal fund advisors had the same, great search experience that we do in Community Suite. As it is now, they have to type the grantee name exactly for it to come up in the list. For example we'd like them to be able to type "Cancer" and all the grantees with that name appear for them to choose their favorite. Thanks for the consideration!

donation notify email
Currently there are 5 available fields for this email to fund advisors as far as I can tell. When they go out, the donor name is last name, first name and it looks odd to me. Is there any way to have that changed to donor's full name

fund advisor - grant notification email
Currently how the system is set up is that one email PER grant processed goes out to the fund advisors of the fund. We have many funds that make multiple grants out of their fund at one time, resulting in them receiving a number of confirmation emails.
Could the system be set up so that it only sends ONE email with all of the details of the grant(s) processed?
5 votes6/7/2023:Fund Advisor: This enhancement allows the foundation to enable the ability for their fund advisors to receive an email confirming that they have submitted a grant request online. There is a new check box at the fund advisor level called Request Confirmation Email. The foundation can chose to enable this for all fund advisors by selecting the check box Advisor Request Confirmation Email in Fund Advisors>Settings>Edit Settings. There is also a new content area for the Advisor_request_confirm_email_body.

Recurring donations fund advisor portal
The Fund Advisor Portal has a donate tab so advisors can donate or set up donations to their fund even it it isn't public - GREAT! HOWEVER, if they set up a recurring donation, this is in no way marked in the contribution tab. Advisors should be able see, just like the recurring grants, that they have a recurring donation set up.
There should also be editing capabilities for both recurring grants and donations for fund advisors in their portal. They shouldn't have to contact us if credit card information changes or if they want to increase the size of…

Fund advisor is now missing in the fund area and the profile designation area. It would be nice to have this option back again.

Send an email confirmation of grant recommendation to advisor
It would be great if a grant recommendation acknowledgement could be sent to fund advisors upon submission of a grant rec via the online portal. Not only does would this notfication thank the user for recommending a grant, it assures them that the grant is being processed.

portal - adding new tab
One of our DAF advisors is asking for a tab in the portal that reads "Portfolio Performance" so we can upload and archive PDF copies of the investment returns. I realize we can do this under the Files tab but would need to do it for each fund individually -- if I'm not mistaken. Is there any thought to creating a way to upload/share files with all DAF advisors in our system?

Remove Profile button from donor portal login page
The button for advisors to view their profile info is visible on the login page of the donor portal, which is confusing.

Grant Description Required in Donor Portal
It would be helpful to have the ability to have the grant description required in the donor portal when fund advisors are recommending grants. This will satisfy the need for a "purpose of grant" for Donor Advised Funds.

Reclassify Grant Distribution Requests from Fund Advisors
Some of our Funds are Fiscal Sponorships and we'd like to use the Fund Advisor Portal for them to submit vendor payment or reimbursement requests. At the moment, their only option is a grant distribution request and there is no way to copy or reclassify the grant w/o manually re-entering the info.

Internal portal access when fund advisor hasn't set password
Hi! It would be helpful to have an easy way to see what a Portal account will look like without having to have the donor set their password already. It is strange to me that as an Admin, I do not have a way to access a donor's portal to answer questions about how it will work for them if they have not set up their own access yet. Admins should be able to log in to any portal account at any time, in my opinion.
87 votes02/14/2024: Fund Advisors: Added the ability for users to Login As a Fund Advisor without the Fund Advisor setting a password. This will allow users to assist and review the view of a Fund Advisors prior to them logging into the Fund Advisor Portal.

Donation Notifications to Fund Advisors: First name Last name - donation_notify_email_body
The system data content section, donationnotifyemail_body, has specifications for email notifications to fund advisors when a donation has been made to their fund. Currently the field for the donor that made the donation is:
{{donor_name}}
That is shown as last name, first name. We'd like a field that shows first name last name. The field could be similar to the donationemailbody section that has:
{name} {salutation}
Alternatively, maybe {{donor_name}} could just be changed to first name last name.

Recurring Donations Communications to Fund Advisors
Recurring Donations Communication to Fund Advisors -- It would be helpful to Fund Advisors if they could see which donations the see on the fund holder portal were recurring and at frequency they occur.
11 votes3/18/2024: Donations: Added new content areas for Recurring Donation reminders: Recurring_donation_reminder_body and Recurring_donation_reminder_subject. These new content fields will need to be completed to use the automatic reminder emails for Recurring Donations. Recurring Donation Reminder Days in Donation Portal Settings will need to be entered.
- Donations: Added Recurring Donation Reminder Days in Donation Portal Settings. This new field will allow users to select a number between 7 through 90 days to have the reminder email to send automatically. Donation content fields will need to be completed prior to email sending. By entering a 0 in this field, this will disable the emails.
- Profiles: Added the recurring donation emails to email history.

9/7/22 Fund Advisor portal steward update-staff photo s/b at steward level not fund level
This was the last of my exchange with support.
So am I reading this right that I still have to go into every single fund to add a single (steward) photo? That does not make sense to have this feature at the fund level, why wouldn't the image be added at the steward level??????Ashley Ruiz
