  1. In looking at the new portal in the sandbox, donations are not listed in chronological order, which is very confusing. If a donor has made a stripe donation and paid the credit card fee, the fee is not listed directly before or after the donation. Please fix this so that the credit card donation and fee are listed together.

    2/10/2025:Portal-All Designations: Ability to reorder columns on tables. If columns are reordered, the selection will save for the next login. This will be for all tables with a listing in donor, grantee, student, vendor, customer, fund advisor. This will not be included on Summary tables. This will also apply to entries per page and the pagination at the bottom of the listing. 

  2. As donor services, I work often with our DAF individuals who struggle using the portal. It is so important that we can "login as" them so we can talk them through creating a grant or how to add a gift to their DAF. I have donors tell me what they're seeing on their screen and ask me if they did their grant right. I can't see it unless I go to the List Cart in Fund Advisors and there, if they add any information in the Special Instructions, that information isn't on List Cart. And I can only see their…

    To login as a fund advisor in the new portal, you must go to the login as tab on the main profile. There is a login as option in the left menu from that tab. Because of a change to profiles and enhanced security, this will log you out of CSuite as a User. You can login as in an incognito window, that will not log you out.

  3. PROBLEM:

    There is an extra step for Primary Advisors to approve a grant request that he/she has created and that is confusing to the Primary Advisor. Can it be configured differently?

    Note: This is a major competitive disadvantage for us vs Schwab, etc., and other foundations that do not use CSuite. It causes embarrassment.

    3/11/2025:Portal-Fund Advisor- Added donation comment to the donation export, if Show Donation Comment is enabled. Updated Grant Request to display address and primary contact for organizations. Added file attachments to display for primary approver and resolved an issue with the file not displaying on the grant. Removed the approval for the primary approver to need to approve their own grant request. Updated the Fund Steward name field to pull from the mailing label or the name to be consistent with legacy portal.

  4. In the legacy portal there is an option to adding branding at the fund level so fund advisors see branding that coincides with the Foundation, Affiliate, and/or Supporting Organization the fund is within. This is not possible on Styles with the new Portal.

    We will need this functionality to implement the Portal by April 2025 to ensure all our funds have consistent branding and appropriate entities are recognized.

    In Styles, there is an option for Public Fund Style. That brings up a list of funds for a specific style to be applied to a fund.   5. Currently in the new fund advisor & donor portals, the Fund Name is displayed on the Donation Summary Chart. This should be the Public Name as we use internal references on the Fund Name.

    • Portal - Fund Advisor: Updated the Grant Request and Grant History to display Fund Public Name (Fund Name if Fund Public Name is null) for internal grants instead of the foundation name. This will align with the other tabs using the fund name instead of the foundation name.


  6. Grant List or Grant History list need to be able to exported. Donations tab shows an Export button, but Grants tab does not.

    8/27/2024: Portal: Add export functionality to donors, customers, vendors, students, grantee tabs. Added donation and grant history export for fund managers to reflect current exports in the legacy fund advisor portal. 

  7. We do not utilize the Pledges portion of CSuite. Currently, we can remove the Pledges left-side menu option from the Fund Advisor tab in the new portal, however, Pledges is not removable from the Donor tab left-side menu. For this reason, we will not be able to utilize the Donor portion of the new portal because we do not want to give our donors the option to create a Pledge. Could the option to hide Pledges from the Donor tab left-side menu please be added?

    Portal-Fund Advisor: Updated the Statements and Files to have sorting capabilities. Updated contribution drill down to only display the primary address and phone number for the donor. Added the ability for Fund Advisors to donate to their private funds from the Giving Hub link in the portal. 


    Portal-Grantee: Added Show Grant Award Letters and Show Grant Letters as a global setting in the Portal Options, Portal settings, Grantee tab. This will allow foundations the ability to show or hide these letters from the Portal. 


    Portal-Fund Advisor Settings: Added the Hide Spendable Balance as an option in the Summary table. If this is set, no funds will show spendable balances on the Portal. This option is also available per fund on the fund record under Fund Advisor Portal Options, Hide Spendable on Portal. 

    Portal-Donor Settings: Added the ability to hide the Pledge left hand navigation in Portal Settings-Donor.

  8. There is really a huge amount of white space with the login info sitting on the right. The sneak peak webinair showed an image and wording on the left side of the page, but it isn't clear how to add/edit that. Even though we have a logo for our organization, it isn't appearing on the login page.

    If your logo is not displaying on the login page, please upload the logo in System Data. That will fix the display issue in both the Portal and Giving Hub. There is a content area in Portal Options>Profiles titled Profile_login_content. There is a rich text editor in this content area as well.

  9. Prior to the new portal launch, fund advisors could export data from the "My Donations" tab, including advisor details for gifts. However, the advisor field was removed from the export, requiring fund advisors to manually click into each donation to access the full data or a staff member sending a custom report monthly.

    To improve efficiency and streamline the process, I propose adding the advisor information back to the export. This update would reduce manual effort, enhance data accessibility, and align with previous functionality.

    • (02-15-2025) Portal-Portal Options-Portal Settings-Donor: Added new settings for the Donor page in the portal to display household and/or advised donations. With the Show Household Donations, a donor can view their individual donations and the household's donations. They will not be able to see any other household member's individual's donations. With the Show Show Advised Donations, a donor can view their individual advised donations.
    • Portal-Donors: Added Household and Advised columns to the donation listing. This will allow donors to see if a donation is an advised donation or a household donation if the setting is enabled in Portal Settings-Donor: Show Household and Show Advised Donations. These columns were also added to the export.


  10. I am working on our Fund Advisor page in the new portal. We renamed our "Grants" tab to "Grant History" Under that option there are three tabs "Grant Summary, Grant History, and Recurring Grants". Under the Grant Summary tab we can add a description however under the other 2 tabs we cannot. It would be helpful to be able to add a description or instructions under the other 2 tabs.

  11. On the old portal, when our fund advisors go into their DAF we were able to add a tab (Partner Agency Needs List) which would lead to the grant catalog. Is it possible to have the ability to add that to the new portal?

    The current option says NOTE: There are additional giving opportunities. Click here to give. It would be fantastic if we could change the wording there or add it to the left side under Donations.

    1/30/2025: Portal - Grant Request: Removed the reference to "NOTE: There are additional giving opportunities. Click here to give" when an active grant catalog exists. This remains unchanged in the legacy Fund Advisor Portal.


    There is a content block for this page that can include a hyperlink to a grant catalog page.

  12. Some fund advisors are frustrated with the multiple steps it takes to submit a grant through the Advisor Portal as, previously, there was no “Grant Cart” holding the unsubmitted grants. Each week, our team is having to monitor the List Carts to ensure that fundholders are not missing the final step “Review and Submit Grant Requests”. We are finding that they are missing this step which then requires us to email the advisor, and the advisor to log back into their account and submit the grant.     The "cart" option in the Fund Advisor Portal and new Portal is a setting that is controlled in Portal Options>Portal Settings. Edit the settings and disable the Fund Advisor Cart option in the Request Settings area.

  15. The new portal in the Sandbox has merged security permissions for C Suite user account access and fund access. In the new portal there is only one permission setting in Profiles that is all or nothing for all users - both internal staff and external users with Portal access. We need our Donor Relations staff to be able to manage the external users logins and login as external users but it is a significant security issue to allow those staff members to login as other staff users who may have access to financial information etc that our Donor Relations staff…

    The left hand navigation options are still controlled at the Fund Advisor Level. So if you don't have pledges, simply do not turn on the "tab" in the fund advisor area.

  17. If a fund is set to hide donation amounts from fund advisors, then the entire amount column should be hidden on the donations tables, rather than just empty.

  18. Please provide options to remove left navigation items from the Fund Advisor portal. We aren't using Vouchers, and that would confuse our users. Also, the "DONATE" tab is currently not useful to us.

    My hack solution is to rename "DONATE" to " "..... But (I can't do that with "VOUCHERS" because it appears in the middle of the left navigation so people will notice the gap while DONATE is at the bottom so a blank menu item will be less obvious.)

    For the Voucher left side menu request: The ability to display/not display the voucher left side menu request is controlled by the tabs in CSuite. There is an option to bulk remove the voucher tab for Fund Advisors.


    For the Donate request: There is the ability to control the sort order of promoted funds. In Funds, select List Promoted>Change Sort. If a Fund Advisors fund is private, it will display at the bottom of the promoted fund list.

  19. Having the contact information of the person logging in as the first thing that that they see when they log into the Portal is unusual and unhelpful. When you log into any other website, like your bank or investments accounts or even social media, you don’t see your profile information first; you see the account or information you are there to access. Our Donors, Fundholders, Grantees etc are not logging in to see their profile information – they’re logging in to see their Fund or to make a Donation etc. Those links are small and off to the side.

  20. When allowing a donor address to display in the Fund Advisor Portal, default to only showing the primary address. The current behavior shows all active addresses, which can look extremely sloppy when there are many active addresses, and has the potential to allow a fund advisor to see addresses that might be considered private on the donors profile but still active for use internally.
