New Portal: Remove Contact Preferences from Editable Fields
We would prefer not to allow portal users to view or edit their contact preferences.
Do not email, do not call, do not mail are internal codes that should not be viewable by our fundholders as it could lead to confusion, and may mean different things to different foundations.
8/7/2024: Please see the Support articles about the updates to the Portal, including fund advisor fund management: https://support.foundant.com/hc/en-us/articles/21412855474199-Portal

Agreed. The problem is especially important for our fund advisors who may want to opt out of some mailings from us, but do not realize they are opting out of ALL messages, including the emails we send that are critical for their funds.
This ties to the need for more nuance in how we track communication preferences in CSuite. We are trying to manage this with custom fields - not really great... that is a related, but separate issue.

It should be optional whether fundholders/donors see contact preferences. Please make it so that we don't have to display those fields on the new portal.

We should have the option to what fundholders see on the portal that relates to the Profile record. Thanks Angela~
