I completely understand if it's not due to the amount of students/internal process/time constraints. But that way, they'll all show on the draft page when needed.
Have a good day!

An error occurred while saving the comment Ilsa Sanchez commentedPlease allow limits for the Project Request Field beyond a max character limit. Regular Expressions would be great!
For SLM, we try to limit bias as much as possible during evaluation time. We ask applicants for:
Initials and Last 4 Digits of Phone NumberEx: IS 4777 or IAS 4777
However, we get:
1234 or J.J 1234The answers can vary like this despite a set character limit. Foundant support did come up with a solution that would solve this formatting issue: ^([a-zA-Z]{2,3})((\s)([0-9]{4}))?$

An error occurred while saving the comment Ilsa Sanchez commentedHello Robin, I think this would be great to have a minimum character count for essays too. There can be a varied meaning in a "Short Essay" and instead of adding language, imposing an auto minimum character count would be awesome!

This would help so much with SLM for scholarships that have 300+ students receiving the same award amount.

Yes, so it would help aspects of our forms look more in unison. I've attached a screenshot as an example.
We do try to implement color within our applications as it looks more pleasing/engaging to the applicant rather than filling out a tedious form.
Also, with color adjustments, we can work on making apps with more accessibility to people with disabilities. Black type on a white background can be harsh for those with low vision or other disabilities. Some universities currently offer software and/or color overlays to help students with disabilities access technology (such as writing a paper in a similar looking skin - Word docs). Except not all applicants have access to these tools as they're not all currently enrolled.

Please reach out to support@foundat.com for specific response around accessibility and actions taken with the solution.
An error occurred while saving the comment Ilsa Sanchez commentedYes! I agree! A way Foundant can start is to use a read-aloud feature for applications. Some of our applicants are not current students and might not have access to software that allows for more accessibility. Read&Write is a useful tool for students/applicants with disabilities.

Hi Marsha, that's definitely a great point of it being automated and thank you for explaining your process. We currently assign in piecemeal, but I can understand this concern from when we tried to assign holistically.
