We recently encountered this limitation and we are going to put in the 1st as the DOB just so we have a method for tracking month/year. Our CEO will be assisted in her work by knowing an approximate age but it does make me cringe a bit knowing I'm entering data that isn't fully correct. This feature would be helpful for that reason.

This would be especially helpful when someone from the community passes who we receive a lot of memorial donations for. One-offs aren't so bad, but when you need to click into each tribute gift to see if there is a note for the family, it can be rather tedious.
