if a process is turned off, so too is the associated eligibility quiz.
If a process is turned off, so too is the associated eligibility quiz. This is VERY confusing for applicants...they see an eligibility quiz and assume they need to fill it out, even though that process is closed. It makes them think they are not eligible to apply for the open process, when in actuality they were just filling out a form for a closed process and get an error message.

Search Bar
Could we keep the search bar and headers at the top (freeze them)? When you are scrolling down (up to 500 rows), it's easy to lose track of the header and I have to scroll all the way up just to search if I can't find what I'm looking for. If the search bar stuck, I could just enter my search criteria and keep moving without all of the scrolling to top to view the header or search.

Pass/Fail Eligibility Quizzes on Reports
It would be extremely helpful if we could pull failed quizzes into reports.
We have had situations where students (bless their hearts) answer questions incorrectly on the quiz and then give up on contacting us to reset these quizzes. Instead, they don't fill out the application.
If we could pull this information into a report with contact information and responses, we could easily contact them and remind them that we are here to help.3 votes -
Sorting
Keep it simple. SORT SORT SORT, should be a simple click of the header and not MANUALLY sort. Good grief!

Evaluator view grid
I heard from an Evaluator who was frustrated with the view of a grid/table on his evaluator view. As he was working in the side-by-side (evaluator/application) view, he coudln't see any of the content of the (in this case) Student Activities grid. There was content in boxes that he wanted to see but the dropdown carrot took up most of the space and he couldn't read the student replies.
Getting rid of the carrots would probably help but just in general, some way to better view the contents of a grid format answer would be wonderful.

SLM: customize Evaluator dashboard view by Process
We have a scholarship with a 2-step evaluation process. It would be great if we could customize the dashboard view of Evaluators to show not just the score, but Evaluator responses to one of the custom questions. Our committee is sophisticated enough that they are comfortable changing the sort order on the available columns, and adding an additional column to show an additional assessment question would provide them with more flexibility.

Ability to link incoming e-mails directly to a request/organization
In order to facilitate the archival of correspondance linked to an organization or a request, we try to always send e-mails directrly from Foundant (using the "Send (no template)" option.
However, the responses come to our Outlook inbox and we have to save them somewhere in order to upload them in the Document section of the organization or request. It takes time and it does not allow us to view all correspondance in one place (e-mail history).
There is a lot of back and forth with applicants and grantees, so that would be very useful!
2 votesWe are continuing to understand the needs and workflows for emails that need to come back into the system.
What providers are people using?
Are there emails other than responses to system messages that need to live in the system?
If an email was sent in relation to a request, example for submitted, where would you want to view that email from?
Any thoughts are very helpful

"Click to Drill In" on Amount Awarded on the Dashboard
It would be wonderful if there was a "click to drill in" ability for amount awarded on the dashboard.

What information would you want displayed on a drill through of this information?

sync awards from CSuite to SLM
We import awards into CSuite for scholarships where the applications originate outside of SLM (i.e. our education foundation partners who manage their own application processes but we pay awards for them) and then sync them to SLM to be able to use the Follow Up functionality for getting necessary paperwork from the awardees. BUT--- there is no way to de-dupe the users in the CSuite to SLM sync process, so duplicate applicant profiles are created in SLM when we do this if the student already has a SLM profile. It creates a lot of extra manual work to have to…

Alternate Ways for Applicants to Response to Application Questions
Alternate Ways for Applicants to Response to Application Questions. I recently was made aware of Typeform, which offers multiple ways for applicants to respond to a question (e.g. verbally or via video) within the body of an application. Might this be something Foundant would consider testing in the future? https://www.typeform.com/

Collaborators and Admin Comments
It would be great if Collaborators had the ability to see the Administrator comments that are visible to the Applicant.

Show only closed evaluations to which user is/was assigned
Currently, any user with Board Member level access can see ALL closed evaluations and it causes confusion. It would be helpful if that tab showed ONLY the closed evaluations to which a user is or was assigned.

Integrate bill pay to payment tracking
We would love to be able to integrate our bill pay system with GLM so it will automatically update who we have paid after a check run.
1 voteHey All,
If people are willing to share their Bill pay solutions that will help us investigate integrations.

Move Requests With Follow-Ups to Different Organization
This functionality was previously available before the update to allow multiple organizations for one user account. This is useful when we have national organizations which apply on behalf of smaller local organizations - oftentimes they will complete the grant agreements and other initial follow-ups, and then the local organization would take over managing reporting for the rest of the lifecycle of the grant award. This is also applicable to fiscal sponsors that manage multiple awards for various organizations, and it makes it easier for us to break them out by each program when pulling reports as needed.
1 voteThis was also discussed in idea lab webinar April 2024.
What checks would be need in place to make sure the user assigned the follow up is also in the organization?
Are there concerns around changing the Organization of an awarded Grant?
Any additional workflows are helpful.

Batch add multiple Processes when assigning new Evaluators.
Batch add multiple Processes when assigning new Evaluators.
We've just discovered when trying to add in a new evaluator to our scholarship process, we have to add in every single scholarship opportunity separately as an individual process instead of being able to select "all", which, is what we need to do.
So our "Universe" of applications breaks down into "Processes" which are our individual scholarships and because we look at everything from the individual Student (and not the opportunities), we need to be able to batch multiple processes all at the same time.
The way things are currently set up,…

Allow "Approve Request" to be toggled on or off in the process summary
It would be great if we could toggle the "approve request" feature on and off - especially at the LOI stage, but really at either. It is concerning that someone could approve the request accidentally. Right now we have turned off any automatic emails so that if this does happen the applicant isn't alerted, but it would be nice to simply turn the feature on only when needed.
1 voteHi Paula,
would you turn this off for specific users?

collaborator role
When an individual is added as a collaborator, they seem to skip the registration process? They are not tied to an organization and don't have a role assigned. I'm getting emails from people that have been collaborators and think they have access to the system but don't. I'd also like to assign follow ups to a collaborator without having to add them as a user first. Can they automatically be granted applicant status?

Exclude a process
The filtering tool is really handy for seeing only specific processes, but I would really like a way to exclude one process from the total list. Currently, the only way to do that is to apply a filter selecting everything but that process, which feels a little cumbersome. It would be nice to have an additional switch added to the filter for selecting "include/exclude" and then being able to make the filter selection.

User Search Query Options
I would like to see the user search criteria section for the scholarship database have the functionality to query the last logon date (i.e. > 1/1/17). I deactivate users who have graduated from our district or who have never used the system. Also, it would be nice to be able to do a batch option to deactivate multiple inactive users.

Integrating Email & Phone Notes
Thank you for being willing to receive suggestions in this forum. You are brave folks and unique.
Increasingly most grantee correspondence takes place via email or telephone. Might it be possible to have email more strongly integrated into the Foundant GLM? It would be especially helpful if emails that we generate in the system could be saved with each specific grant - along with the grantee's email responses back to us. Maybe there could be a way the grantee can initiate an email to us - through Foundant? Copying and pasting Subject lines and message texts into the "Comments" section…
