Profiles - Last Modified Report
The ability to create a report to see when profiles were last updated (be able to put from/to dates to see when any profile(s) were last modified)

generate but not print fund statements
The ability to generate but not print statements would be helpful. We end up with a number that we weed out and trash. We would like to not have to print Email statements and those where a statement preference is not selected.
1 voteThis is currently an option in CSuite. The statement type by fund advisor should accomplish this request. Set the type to paper to generate a paper copy of the fund statement. The print all option was designed for Foundations that would like to generate one copy for all funds regardless of statement type.

filename of tax receipt letter
We very much like that we can generate and send the tax receipt letters out by email from within CSuite.
However, the pdf letter that gets generated and attached to the email has a long strange filename which can be concerning for some wary of files with viruses. The filename looks something like 92b81c76-8015-4099-a6b8-11d8beddb983.pdf.
Can the filename be made to be something that is more recognizable? i.e. DonorTaxReceipt
50 votes5/26/2023: Templates: Updated the tax receipts email to show read as Donation Receipt and Donation Date. The Subject Line of the email will read the same Donation Receipt and Donation Date. For example, Donation Receipt 05/26/2023 Also, added the email for donors on the the tax receipt table when processing tax receipts.

Allow Users to Adjust Font Size
We love the new user interface but the font is rather small for some of our users. It would be amazing to have the ability for each user to pick from a Small, Medium, Large font size

nonprofit directory - option to access by fund advisors
Give fund advisors access to the nonprofit directory. This would allow them to look for ideas of who to make grants to, if they are looking to support a specific "cause"

Email types
Would love to have email types (like address types, where we can add our own). We have many different emails for different organizations, many of which are specific to a single thing. With email being our most frequent form of communication, it would be great to run a report on email address type when necessary to get specifically the contacts we need at each organization (like CEO or grant manager or admin....etc)

void
When a payment is voided it would be nice if the bank reconciliation stated voided beside the payee rather than just reflecting a credit on the reconciliation.

Checks: Added the ability for voided checks display on the voucher record. Voided checks will now display in the bank reconciliation as a red number. Clients can now sort the bank reconciliation by check number to easily see the check and void

Identify Deceased Profiles/Households in Donation Creation Dropdown List
When you go to Donations --> Create, you are currently able to select deceased profiles/households from the dropdown list to link to a new donation. Is there a way that the deceased profile/household will not show in that list? OR Is there a way to note that the profile/household is deceased in the dropdown just as it's noted when you search in Profiles?
We mainly find this issue with deceased households as many donors are still using checks that have their deceased spouse name on the check.
12 votes5/3/2023: Profiles have a new a look with this enhancement. Foundant is excited to take so many of the User submitted ideas from idea lab and make them happen in the software. Our highest voted idea lab submission was the ability to identify the main profile data regardless of the designation.
The profile summary includes the information needed when working with constituents. The primary profile data will now be static at the top of the page regardless of the designation page that is being viewed. This summary includes an image, primary contact information, last donation date and pronouns. With this new layout there will be an icon next to the profiles name at the header. This will allow a User to easily identify an individual, household, or organization record. Images have also been added to the top header box for easy reference as well. make the 990 reports sortable by EIN
We have multiple organizations in Csuite and need to run separate 990 reports for each. Please make the 990 report sortable by organization.

Make Anonymous donor setting flow to Fund Portal - as is, other advisors can see all other Advisors' names!!!
I was horrified to discover this week that donors/fund founders who have requested anonymity (and marked anonymous correctly on their profile records) during their lifetimes are NOT anonymous in the Fund Portal! All other advisors connected to the funds (in our case, the beneficiary organizations) can see the name(s) of the "Anonymous" donors right in the portal. This is a huge problem. Please address this!

Template Field Request: scholarship check number
Please add check number field to Scholarship Payment reports. Right now we can add the CSuite Check Id, but not the check number. I'd like to include the check number in my merged letters to schools.

Allow reports for Org roles to show if the role is active or not
Currently you are able to set Org roles as inactive or active, but it is not reportable. This means when a report is built to list those associated with the org roles, it shows all profiles with no way of sorting the ones that are currently active. It would be great if we could filter by whether or not that are active, or how some indication (like italics) that show the difference.

Inactivate Tributes
There should be a way to inactivate tributes so that they don't show up on your tribute list without deleting all of the tribute information.
31 votes8/2/2023: Tributes: In order to manage tributes more efficiently, a new workflow has been designed for Tributes.
The Tribute list view is now a custom report with the ability to sort each column and have the ability to apply filters, save filtered lists, export, email and load for future use. On the left hand menu, there is also a new Delete Unused menu item. This will allow clients to delete any unused tributes that do not have donations attached to the tribute or if the tribute does not have associated notify information. If the notify address or email information is not completed, the tribute information will move to a non-notify tribute field. This will allow clients to retain the information about the tribute on the donation in a text field.

Loan Interest Rate
Currently, an interest rate is required to create a new loan. Some of our lines of credits aren't charged interest. If that field could allow 0% to be entered, that would allow us to use the new Loans feature.

NACHA File Offset
It would be great to have the ability to turn off the offset transactions within the NACHA file. Our bank has requested this and said it is an "easy click of a button" in most accounting softwares but it is not an option yet in C-Suite.
This offset transaction is causing multiple transactions for the same payment to appear in our banking.

Add Steward to Tax Receipt Fields
We have multiple stewards who would like to sign tax receipts. It would be great if we could have a field that pulls the steward first and last name into the letter. Title of steward would be great too but that isn't as important to me as just having the function to get the steward name on the letter.

Create Spendable Grants with Primary Fund Advisor Auto Populated
Creating Spendable Grants leaves the Advisor field empty. When processing hundreds of grants at a time, this means that we have to go into each grant and assign an advisor so that the advisor name will show up in the grant letter. We would like to see this field auto populated with the Primary Fund Advisor. This will save a huge amount of time and energy!

Fund Portal Information
Currently when a fund advisor views his portal, he can see the donor and the amount given. This goes against our current Donor Confidentiality Policy. We keep all gift amounts private.
I'm told there is not currently a way to hide this information on the portal. Can this be changed?

add week and today to date filter options
Please add "this week, last week and today" to filter options. The filter donation date does not include anything for a weekly report, which is something we use alot" Just makes sense if you are going to include preset values you would include all of them , year- quarter- month-week - today

Build out Note reporting.
We use notes to track donor, professional advisor, and grantee interactions. The current reporting includes a ton of "employee" fields but no biographical/name/etc. fields for the associated profile, forcing us to analyze the data entirely in excel.
