  2. On the Sship ID level, add a field, or allow the description field, to move with the scholarship through to the grant/voucher process and appear in check letter.

    At this point, there is no way to communicate necessary payment instructions to schools when sending scholarship checks without a workaround that is time consuming when managing hundreds of scholarship grants in a week. At this time, the workaround is broken and is part of ticket ID #170033.

  3. Provide the ability to indicate on a profile the use of 'bulk mail pointer'. This was a function in FIMS where the profile could point to a different profile when a mass mail list was being produced. The report (campaign) would have an option to use the bulk mail pointer. This is very helpful when individuals are on more than one profile for different roles they hold. A good example is when a Professional Advisor has a professional profile w/ business address but also has an IND/HH profile w/ home address. We only need to send mail to the home.…

  4. We have just started using the Grant Catalog to promote challenges for some of our funds. Could we have the ability to customize the "Requested" wording on the bottom of the square that is listed in the portal or on the giving hub to something we choose? We'd love to be able to rename it to "Goal" as that better suits what we use the Grant Catalog for.

  6. When creating campaigns to sell tickets for our affiliate partners' events, the ticket sales can go directly into their funds, rather than dealing with third party payment processors. However, they do not have access to their ticket sales info, which they need to coordinate the planning of their event. They also need an up-to-date guest list to be generated shortly before the event starts. This is a major strain for weekend activities when the foundation is not staffed to manually monitor and send ticket sales reports.

Please create a report that includes the Logs fields When (date and time), Who (who initiated the system action), Ref (link to the specific system action), Log Message (summary of the action) and the Profile Log fields When (date and time), What (profile update information), Who (who initiated the profile update) with all the fields available in the Profiles default report.

    Please allow filtering by all of these fields.

    This will allow us to see relevant information about updates to profiles all in one place, including profile name and ID, date, user, system action and summary of action.

  9. Donors give stock just like they give cash, check, and by card. It’s nice that we can split their gift --cash, check, or card-- between funds, but we need to be able to split gifts of stock in the same manner. Currently, a profile payment can separate out the gift when it is acquired but when you go to sell the stock, the gains/losses, fees, and the sold amount go only to the original fund used to set up the profile payment. Stripes non-profit credit card fee is 2.2% +.30, it would be nice if we had the option to charge that exact fee amount in CSuite to prevent over charging our donors and causing confusion and extra activity on the fund statements. It should be a complete wash if the donor wants to cover the charge.

    The additional donation was built as a suggestion to cover not only the credit card processing fees, but the Foundation's fees as well. In general, a 3% fee works out to closely match the current stripe fees.

  11. If you reclass a transaction to a different GL account, then the 1099 status of the current account should be applied and not the original account.

  12. Candid (GuideStar) asks non-profits to provide a list of grants data annually. They use a specific template (attached). It would be helpful to have a default report already created so that we can generate the information more easily and consistent with their template.

  13. It would be great if there was an easy way to upload a logo for the affiliate portal that would automatically change it from the overall system logo. Right now, the only way to update the logo for our affiliate's Giving Hub is through complicated coding that our team is not able to do. Thank you!

  14. In the Grants > Grant Summary table in the new Portal for fund advisors, there is a search box in the top right that is supposed to filter the list of grantees.

    However, at least on Edge, the search box isn't working correctly. When I enter a term in the search box, the entire table is instantly emptied of results, as though none matching my query could be found--even when I search for a term that is clearly visible on the first page of grantees. Pressing Enter after typing my search term has no effect. Deleting my search term, or…

  15. Please add "Set Service Area" to the options under Bulk Actions of a custom report just like there is the ability to "Set Grant Type" from this menu. This field does not have the ability to be required on all grants and it very important to have filled in to report on who our grant dollars are serving, so if it is not filled in for a group of grants that can mean manually updating hundreds at a time.

    Update: This is available in a Profile Custom Report. If set at the profile level, this will carry over to the grant. It can be edited.

In the new Portal, I noticed that if a donation is marked as a memorial/tribute, the amount is hidden in the contributions tab, but it is still showing in the detailed drill down of an individual contributor. It also shows the amount in the fund summary tab graphs. In the old fund advisor portal, memorial/tribute amounts were at least also hidden in the detailed drill down of an individual contributor.   17. It would be great if a fund advisor could split a single internal grant into multiple internal funds. Currently, advisors must create one grant and specify in the description how they want the funds allocated. However, we then have to cancel the grant and manually create multiple grants to meet their request.

    We already have the ability to split a single donation into multiple funds and consolidate multiple funds into one grant. Extending this capability to internal grants would streamline the process and reduce manual work.

  18. Ability to assign specific campaign permissions? I Create all campaigns, but there are specific staff that manage rsvps for their events. Is there a way to limit access to only apply rsvps to that specific campaign? thanks

Please consider either adding error handling for the description fields for donations and grant suggestions in the portals to prevent special characters, or adjust the PDF conversion software on the back end to better handle special characters. If the Word template has conditional formatting and any text with quotation marks comes through, Word processes it properly, but the PDF conversion removes or changes the text. This results in incorrect instructions and other text fields being sent in PDF lettters. To be clear, it is correct in the Word documents and in the Donor portal, but the PDFs that actually go…

  20. The Advisorrequestconfirmemailbody content has a merge field for {{guidestar_ein}}, however this does not populate with data unless the Advisor selects a grantee from a Candid search. Can a merge field be added to reference the EIN on the grantee's Org record within CSuite so that it will populate with data even if the Advisor selects a previous grantee?
