  1. We have a fund that gives all interest and earnings to another fund through Revenue Share. We would like to have a report that pulls all earnings the original fund made that was shared, but is separate from what the receiving fund makes.

    For example: Fund A earned $1,000 in interest in January and that amount is given to Fund B. Fund B earned $2,000.
    When we pull a report, it only shows the full amount that Fund B earned ($3,000) and does not specify what was shared from Fund A. We have to look through each Revenue Share posting…

  2. It would be helpful if once a donation is reviewed, it doesn't automatically advance to the next donation requiring review. That way, a tax receipt (if needed) can be generated without also having to return to the receipt bucket.

  4. There should be an option to Void an electronic payment like there is to void a check. I had an ACH not go through and need to resubmit it so I had to remove it from the batch and delete it like it ever happened. Which means my totals will not match from the original submission.

We recently launched CSuite and noticed that when donors create a recurring donation online, neither the email they receive nor the tax receipt are customizable in a way to indicate that the donation is recurring. I think a simple solution to this would be to update the "description" field to say "recurring online donation" instead of just "online donation" when donors select recurring. If it's possible to also include the end date (if the donor specified an end date), that would be great too!

  6. Report showing all deleted journal entries. Current journal transaction report has a limit of 1000 rows and the export does not export the deleted entries.

  7. It would be very helpful if you allowed merged records to retain the credit card information for recurring donations. I've lost several credit card numbers during de-duplication and reaching out to them to ask for their card numbers or to reschedule their donations is too time consuming!

    In Funds>Content there is a Fund_statement_review_email_body section.  If there is content in that section, a email can be sent to fund advisors notifying them that a statement has been added to the portal.  Once statements have been reviewed and published, there is a left side menu option in the fund statement group record titled Send Online Email.  Selecting that option will send an email to Fund Advisors with a valid email.

  9. When creating a custom report to list uncleared checks, the options to filter for "cleared" are boolean as Yes or No, when in fact the data about checks is either Cleared="Yes" or Uncleared=blank. Thus there is no way to create report that produces a list of only uncleared checks. It's frustrating to have to export a larger report and filter in Excel to get what I need.

    The cleared check field in the check custom report was updated to return a yes/no answer.  Here is the release note from 5/4/2023:


    Custom Reports: Resolved the following boolean fields when filter on the following reports and fields: Check Report-Checks Cleared; Fund-Loans; Accounts-Has Checks, Manage Cash; Files-Sticky; General Ledger-Reconciled; Grant-Pay Sponsored Org, Public Visible, Exclude Adminfee; Grant Status-Past Due; Note-Note Alert; Opportunity-Success; Campaign Profile-Attended, RSVP; Invoice-Historical.

  10. It would be helpful if the voided check information could be listed in the payment history section on Vouchers. Currently, if you need to reissue a check, the original check information is removed and the replacement check information is all that is listed. It would be great if the original check info was shown with a red "Voided" in the Rec Date field.

  11. It would be wildly helpful if the last grant date was an option for reports on grantees. In other words, you could pull a profile report that would also tell you the last date that the profile received a grant.

Instead of having to delete and re-run a whole batch of fund statements to regenerate the statement for one or a few funds, it would be ideal to be able to delete them and re-run them back into the same batch if edits have been made to the fund. At minimum the ability to delete individual statements would save us from having to rerun the full batch each time, which can be time consuming.

    This idea was implemented on 8/23/22.  Here is the release note:


    Fund Statements: Enhanced fund statements to have the ability to print or email the fund statement after it has been generated. To email or print the fund statement again, go into the the fund statement batch and select email or print from the brackets next to the sent date.

  13. It would be good to have an option to turn off Grant Letters for clients that use GLM. The communications in grant and award letters are already being sent via GLM, therefore, we do not use Grant Letters. With the new release we now need to go into each individual grant letter to say mark sent to get rid of the grant letters in CSuite. This has created a lot of extra work if you don't want to send the grant letters.

    We implemented a grant and scholarship setting last night that you can disable grant/scholarship letters.  This will remove the document bucket from your workflows.  It can be found in grant or scholarship settings.  You should see a release note for 1.18.2023.

  14. I would like the ability to download a tribute letter that is marked as email for notification. Our executive director writes a personal note on it, I scan it, and then email it from my work email.

    Also: It is now marked as sent as soon as a tribute is downloaded. That isn't always the case for us because I download one letter, put all the donors on the letter, and then send it. I send them out weekly if there are a lot of donations.

    8/2/2023: Tributes: In order to manage tributes more efficiently, a new workflow has been designed for Tributes.

    The Tribute list view is now a custom report with the ability to sort each column and  have the ability to apply filters, save filtered lists, export, email and load for future use. On the left hand menu, there is also a new Delete Unused menu item.  This will allow clients to delete any unused tributes that do not have donations attached to the tribute or if the tribute does not have associated notify information. If the notify address or email information is not completed, the tribute information will move to a non-notify tribute field.  This will allow clients to retain the information about the tribute on the donation in a text field.

  15. When creating the check register custom report, it would be useful to be able to filter the report to only include scholarships, grants and other voucher batch types. This would improve C-Suites usefulness when attempting to gather information on checks cut specifically for scholarships, grants, and other voucher batch types.

  16. Please refer to the photos of "Needs SLM Approval" for a scholarship item for 01/01/23.

    In CSuite, we have conditional scholarships that we approve every semester based on criteria of a renewal form.

    However, there's no way to bring "Needs SLM Approval" in a CSuite report to know whether or not a scholarship item was approved in SLM and is ready to be posted. The only option is to check manually. I do not have the permissions to create a grant, but to set the grantee.

  17. Please make the Fund Advisor login NOT case sensitive. Many donors are accustomed to entering their emails with various mixes of upper and lower case characters. All fund advisors emails in CSuite appear to be lower case. The donor portal interprets a case difference as a different email and does not allow a login, or a forgot password email to make it through. This is causing lots of issues with our fund advisors.

  19. For various events our organization holds we must provide an expense breakdown which we can export from CSuite but it includes unnecessary information that we must remove. Having the ability to create custom expense reports based upon specific accounts and/or campaigns we select would save time and allow the focus to remain on only pertinent data.

    October Monthly Release: Financials: Added a new Account Activity report. This will allow clients to create a report based on any accounts from the chart of accounts that they want to display. This report will have the same column options as the income statement

  20. Add the ability change the revenue account on a gift prior to posting (without changing the default).

    We report different types of contributions on our statement of activities and the single contribution revenue account does not allow for the breakout. it would be great if the revenue account could be campaign driven but I would be happy to be able to change the contribution account prior to posting.

    Two options we currently need are Event Revenue (the deductible) and Corporate Sponsors. The information is available in campaigns but it can’t be separated on a fund or consolidated income statement .

    This is currently an option if you setup Donation Types.  From the left side menu in Donations, select Donation Types.  This is the area where you can set the revenue account for donations.  There are three options, manually pick an account on each transaction, create a list of donation types (use defined) and assign the revenue account to the type, or a single default account.
