  1. Automatically Populate Grantee Contact on Internal Grants:

    It would be great if the grantee contact field would automatically populate with the primary fund advisor on the recipient fund for internal grants and/or we could have a drop down menu with fund advisors to pick from, as opposed to having to manually enter the grantee contact via profile ID each time.

    This already happens for external grants-- so it would great to have the same functionality for internal grants.

  2. It looks like my idea was implemented back in 2022, but I don't see it available on the new version of the fund advisor portal. Our fundholders are used to seeing monthly investment activity published to their accounts, as well as fees charged on a quarterly basis. The Financials section allows for statements, but allowing users to generate statements is risky and not always accurate. Is there any way to publish investment activity and fees to the fund summary screen?

  3. In the new Fund Portal, users have expressed several issues with navigation and confusion because of a lack of information:

    1. When in a specific page on the fund portal, the tab is not highlighted, nor is the text emboldened, in the left-hand menu to reflect what page they are on.
    2. Add a logout button in the top menu options without clicking through to profile.
    3. Add customizable text options to the Profile page - we currently don't allow users to update their contact details while we are merging profiles on the back end. We want to add text to let them…

  4. Right now, if you add profile groups from the campaign directly, or from a report, you get four option buttons for how to add them (see attached screenshots). If you add profiles to a campaign from some other part of CSuite, such as a search and filtered group, for some odd reason it only gives you two of those options instead of all four. Why? That doesn't make any sense. Can you please change the system so that all four of those options come up wherever you add profiles from to a campaign? Thank you.

  5. Would really like the ability to create customized communications that would appear as a pop-up in the portal when a fund-holder logs in to share things they are working on, foundation news, funding opportunities, etc. with fund advisors.

  6. When printing multiple page financial reports, we need to have the column headings print at the top of the column on each page for ease of reading. It is impossible to know what each column is for once you print more than one page.

    For example, if I print an fund audit report for multiple funds, you cannot tell what the columns on the second page are reporting.

  7. Allow for multiple directories to be tied to profiles. For instance, we use the nonprofit directory feature, which is awesome. We would also like to have a consultant directory. I'm thinking same look and functionality, just allow for more than one directory option.

  8. Love the new option to send emails to fundholders who still have grants left in their cart. Currently the only option is to send emails to all fundholders on list. Is there a way to select individual donors who would be receiving the email?

  9. Currently on the household record, the Last Donation Date does not roll up all donations from the household members. So, if the household has not given since 2021, but a member of the household gave in 2023, that is not reflected in the Last Donation Date on the household record, it shows their last donation was in 2021. This is not an accurate representation of the household's giving. Please have all household and household members giving be reflected on the household record's Last Donation Date.

  11. Please create a Portal tutorial for outside users similar to the GLM tutorial for outside users here https://support.foundant.com/hc/en-us/articles/4479853059991-GLM-Applicant-Tutorial . This would help alleviate a lot of phone calls and emails so that we can do our jobs more efficiently. Thank you.

  12. Only staff members with full "Manage Login Info/Login As" permissions on the Profile can fully set up a new "Fund Advisor" record through to the "Send Login Email" step.

    Having "Manage Login Info/Login As" means the employee can reset ANY staff member's password - which means they can take over any account in CSuite. This is essentially the MOST critical security authorization available.

    We will not give our fundraising staff this level of access, but it means that all new Fund Advisor setups must run through one of our primary site administrators rather than be managed by our fundraisers.

  13. Currently, the Fund Advisor Login Log only shows Fund Advisors who have logged into the Portal with Username and Password. Since most/all first-time portal users log in with email and PIN (and some may continue after that), we would like to be able to track all portal users that are logging in -- whether using username and password, and/or email and PIN. Currently, there's no visible record of portal users logging in by PIN.   14. We love the bulk update functions in custom reports for grants. It would be incredibly helpful to have the option to bulk upload IDs and then gain access to the bulk options for grants.

    For example, we are tracking grants for Hurricane Helene, which requires pulling reports and sorting in excel. It would be worlds more efficient if we could bulk upload grant IDs to mark the custom fields on these grants at once (vs. going one at a time, incredibly time consuming during a challenging time in our state).

  15. When a tab name is revised in Portal Setting, have the 'breadcrumbs' on the portal reflect the new name and not the original hardcoded tab name. Example: if revise Nonprofit Directory tab name from 'Directory' to 'Index', would be great if breadcrumbs back to previous pages reflect 'Index'.

  17. Please provide the option to list the school's name in the grantee detail section of a scholarship fund statement. This field is currently blank or will list the student's full name since the student is considered the grantee according to C Suite even though the payment was sent to the school. This is confusing for donors. This update would also protect the privacy of the student by including the school's name, and not the student's full name. We are not interested in the post by payment option as that feature can cause issues with financial integrity.

    After review by our engineering team, we are moving this back to proposed. The school name populates if using Post by Payment. The reason it does not without that option is that the scholarship populates the fund statement on the post date, and the school is assigned on the payment lines, which could be later than the post date.

  18. For numeric fields in a custom report there is currently a "Total Column" checkbox option to total the data from all rows in that column. The total will display in a new row at the bottom of the column.

    We'd like the same thing but with the option for Average, Min, Max, Count, etc. Those are only possible now by grouping and removing all other fields. We end up with the calculated value but can't see any of the individual records or details. We can get what we need in Excel by exporting and adding a formula but would like…

  20. It is very rare that a custom report needs to be shared with every employee, typically just one other person or a team. It would be very helpful to be able to select from the user list which employees you want to share with and be able to edit who you shared with at anytime. This will avoid the custom report page from getting overwhelmingly long for everyone.
