When profiles are marked as deceased and linked to a household, the household is being pulled with the deceased information instead of now defaulting to the active individual profile only. This impacts mailing lists for marketing campaigns and grant letters as it now pulls in deceased households.
There should be an automatic unlinking/adjustment so that we do not have to manually unlink which is the only workaround to solve this issue right now. Ideally, there would be a way to keep the individual linked to the household profile for historical purposes too.

We are constantly updating our database to keep our profiles as up-to-date as possible. This change would help ensure our database works for, not against, us.

This is really important as I have mailings that are potentially missing active donors that have a deceased spouse.
