Set Address/Phone Type in Profile Creation / Field in Profile Import Template
When creating profiles, it's very tedious that you can't enter the type of address or type of phone number and have to create then edit again.
This is especially tedious when you're uploading 200+ profiles using the profile import and have to manually go to each profile to set the address or phone number type. At the very least, having it be a field for importing profiles would be nice.

Freeze Profile and/or Fund Name at the top of the page
when working in a fund or profile record it would be really helpful if the name was pinned at the top of the screen so that as you scroll down it is easy to see which record you are working in.

Fund Advisor Portal: Ability to sort the Fund Statements
Currently, we cannot sort the order in which the fund statements appear on the individual fund screen or on the Donor Portal. As a result, the fund statements often do not list in date order. This makes it hard to find the latest statement. It would be great if the Fund Statements could be sorted to show the newest fund statement at the top.

We use shortname a lot on funds. Could it be added to the box at the top of the new fund screen layout? Instead of just on the detail tab.

Assigning School and Student ID in Bulk for UA Scholarships
We process around 200 scholarships to around 100 students annually. We love the SLM to CSuite integration, but we feel there is a huge oversight regarding assigning the school and student ID. This all has to be captured individually and manually entered into the payment in CSuite. This was quite an arduous process this year. It was easier to upload it into CSuite as we used to be able to do before SLM.
There was a release on 4/6/22 to implement this for standalone processes ("The School (Payee in SLM) and Student ID will sync between the two systems.") But…

Schedule a report with a sliding date
The ability to schedule custom reports with a sliding date filter. For example: a weekly report of all donations that were received in the past week sent to our development team every Monday. Currently we have select the entire year and sort it by date to pull most recent to the top and then they have to ignore or delete the older grants. While this is functional the sliding date feature would be a tremendous improvement.
1 voteThere is currently an option to do this. Use the relative date filter. So for your use case, selective Relative last week and schedule the report to be emailed each Monday.

Add Grant ID as Merge Field on Advisor_request_confirm_email_body
We would like to have the Grant ID included in the email that is sent to the Fund Advisor confirming that we received the Grant Request. Is that a possibility?

Fund Advisor: Updated the content merge fields for the following Fund Advisor emails. Advisor_Login_Email: Salutation, First Name, Last Name Mailing Label; Advisor_request_confirm_email_body: Fund Name and Grant ID.
Donation: Updated the content merge fields for the following donation email. Donation Notify: Primary address, email, phone, donation date, Salutation, First Name, Last Name, Mailing Label
Funds: Updated the content merge fields for the following funds emails. Fund Statement Email Body and Fund Statement Review Email Body: fund name.
No permission changes with this release. -

1099 report based on check date, not invoice date
Please correct the 1099 report to show totals based on payment date, not invoice date.

Display grants list within a recurring grant in chronological order
Display the grants issued within a recurring grant in chronological order OR add the ability to sort by each column.
7 votesIt is possible to sort the recurring grant list based on any of the columns. The list currently sorts by id, to turn it "off", click on the column until the arrow disappears. Then click on the header of any of the other columns to sort by that column.

JULY UPDATE - Tribute Public vs. Private
We have 2500 existing Tributes in our system. All are showing in the sandbox release with a status of "Public". We will not want all of those tributes out on the portal. Many of these are very old, from our conversion. We would want only the most recent - the last couple years - to be seen out on the portal. Could there please be a way to update the status on old Tributes.
5 votes8/2/2023: Tributes: In order to manage tributes more efficiently, a new workflow has been designed for Tributes.
The Tribute list view is now a custom report with the ability to sort each column and have the ability to apply filters, save filtered lists, export, email and load for future use. On the left hand menu, there is also a new Delete Unused menu item. This will allow clients to delete any unused tributes that do not have donations attached to the tribute or if the tribute does not have associated notify information. If the notify address or email information is not completed, the tribute information will move to a non-notify tribute field. This will allow clients to retain the information about the tribute on the donation in a text field.

ACH : add memo line in vouchers
It would be great to create a "memo" for checks and ACH payments as you are entering them in AP vouchers or grants vouchers, rather than wait until you are printing the checks. This would be especially helpful when we are paying as ACH payments so it would be included in the NACHA file

More Information Provided when Fund Advisor Account is Locked
When a fund advisor enters an incorrect password more than the number configured in Settings, their account is locked. The error message simply reads "Account locked out" with no instructions for what steps to take to resolve the problem.
At this point, I would think that the lock would require them to contact us to unlock their account before allowing them to login again. However, they can login if they reset their password.
If they do reset their password, the account is STILL LOCKED. If they do not contact us to unlock their account, they have to reset their password…
3 votes9/22/2023: Fund Advisors: Resolved an issue with Fund Advisors being locked out, but the forgot password will still require the foundation to unlock their account. Fund Advisors reset password email will now unlock the Fund Advisor once they select the reset password link and reset their password.

Grant Catalog - Organization Name in Description
Hello, recently we noticed that in the grant catalog if a donor clicks the donation button and a recommendation goes through the donor portal, the internal grant does not pick up the organization's name that they are donating to. If we process a grant manually through "add funding" it does appear the organization's name and purpose. Can we get these to match and show the organization name and purpose for our records?

Permissions Audit Capability or Report? Permissions definitions?
We have just gone into our second year using CSuite and are ready to take a hard look at Permissions. We are finding we would rather have 'departmental' user groups than just the default distinction between Accounting and Staff that was set up at implementation. We have just been granting specific permissions on the fly, as staff run into tasks they are unable to complete, and would like to re-establish a controlled structure.
We are running into a few hurdles as we try to approach this project, specifically:
1: there aren't any good definitions on WHAT each permission actually does…

There are several custom reports that should help you review the permission settings in your site.
- Group - will give you a list of groups
- Group Action - will give you a list groups along with the advanced action for each group. The report can be grouped by the object, then sorted by the group name to review a site's permissions
- User Action - will give you a list of Users and the permissions that they have access to. The report can be grouped by employee then sorted by object.
- User Group - will give you a list of employees and the group they have been assigned to. The report can be grouped by group name to easily review the users assigned to each group.

When you are in a profile, it seems like you have to click a lot of buttons to get the household and then back to a household member. How do you get household and household member donation totals?

Custom Report ID
Report ID's for custom reporting should be listed next to a Custom Report Title for reference instead of having to close out reports to identify this information. This would allow for custom reports to stay open and active while discussing issues with CSuite Support Teams.
11 votesThe custom report id now shows on the custom report list. A description field was also added to allow the User to shed light on the reason/purpose of the report. This was released in May, 2023.

+Add Filter = Investment Strategy to Financials
It would be VERY helpful to be able to Filter on all the Financial reports by Investment Strategy to assist with reviewing fund activity via Trial Balances for special group of funds that do not participate in the pool. It is very easy to book donations, grants and vouchers to incorrect funds.
