  1. Thanks for all the great recent donation portal updates! I like that we now have the option to show the fund's grant type on the fund listing page. It would be great if there was also the option to group funds by their grant types like how the nonprofit directory works. We like that the nonprofit directory includes the grant types, but it would be great if service areas could be an additional way to filter this page. In addition, it would be great to be able to reorder the tabs that appear on the portal. We don't currently have…

  2. Right now, the "duplicates" tab only flags profiles with duplicate name, email address, or phone number. Could it also flag duplicate addresses? We have many donors who may use a slightly different name when donating (like putting in "Michael" for one donation but "Mike" for another, so it doesn't flag it as a duplicate profile). If the system also flagged duplicate addresses, it would hopefully catch more of those.

  3. Fundraisers have requested to pull donations linked to opportunities assigned to them. To facilitate this, we have one option available: the opportunity type name. It would be beneficial if you could provide us with two fields—opportunity ID and opportunity assigned name—to filter by in the donations report.

  4. We would love to have a way that C Suite could prevent duplicate short names from being created or provide a warning that there is another fund with the same short name. We use short names in lots of financial reports and having a way to prevent a duplicate would reduce human error. Thanks for considering.

  5. Add a receipt interval to the recurring donation setup. We have some recurring donors who would prefer to only receive receipts at year’s end. Currently a profile’s email must be temporarily removed or set to inactive to ensure a receipt is not sent at the time a recurring donation is processed. When processing recurring donations they currently bypass the Receipt Bucket and move straight to the Posted Bucket.

  6. It would be nice if the report information (name, number, report details, filters, etc.) could somehow be added to the csv export similar to how it is added when you export Audit Reports. Sometimes my team will run a report and just send me the csv file. It'd be nice if I could back track and more easily find which report their data is based of.

  7. I'm working in Donor reports and like that I can see each year of giving, and Custom Reports doesn't do this. I would LOVE a Loyal Donor report with a filter to select for donation date of 2023, 2022, 2021, etc. and be able to roll up donor information to the household with emails for both donors (if a household) and mailing address so we can thank/recognize donors for their loyalty.

  9. When importing a batch of grants, you should be able to specify an expense account at the time of import. Currently you can't, so if you import a huge batch of grants that needs a specific expense account, you have to go through and individually edit each grant to the correct expense account anyway, which defeats the purpose of being able to batch import grants.

  13. We would love the ability to export the balance swap screen to Excel. We have historically printed the potential swaps, evaluated, and then come back in to accept/deny the swaps but would love if we can export to Excel.

  14. Capacity to share notes between profiles would be awesome.

    Example 1: Fundraising visit with a particular business. Visit notes could go on the business profile, but the note could "tag" additional profiles, such as the business staff members present at the meeting.

    Example 2: We utilize notes to capture obituary information. Family members could be "tagged" on the note in order to share the information across profile records, rather than repeating the obit note several times. One entry, several tags = awesome!

  15. After sending email Fund Statements it would be beneficial to see within the batches if the "Sent" job was successful. The only way to see if an email statement was delivered is to view the email history within a Fund Advisors Individual profile.

  16. Implement the same viewing and reviewing capabilities that exist for fund statements for all letters including tax receipts, grant letters, and award letters—possibly adding the send option after it is reviewed.

  17. Some of our funds have several fund advisors. Some of these fund advisors do not want and/or need statements. It would be helpful to have a statement option at the fund advisor level to suppress statements or indicate "No Statements". Currently, the checkbox for statements is at the fund level. At the fund advisor level, the only selections available for statement type is paper, online, or email. Can we get an option to suppress statements at the fund advisor level or a statement type that states "no statements"?

  18. Recently I added a new record of a woman who's pronouns were listed on her website as She/Ella because of her Mexican heritage. Foundant gave me an error message that it is an 'invalid' option. I thought this box allowed us to type any text but I was wrong. Can this box just be open text like other fields in Foundant? This would be more culturally and generally inclusive.

  19. Display Profile Type in the main profile information, not under Relationships. The profile type is one of the most important pieces of information when contacting donors, but is currently hidden under 'relationships', so one must remember to click there to see that information. Our team thought that the attributes previously assigned were gone, but it seems they've just been hidden. While I now know where this information is, it's still not easy for those who do not use CSuites every day to find the information.

  20. We realize there was an Idea Lab suggestion to have an Optional Grant Letter. It’s been marked as implemented, with the suggestion to separate check batches. That’s a bit unwieldy, so we’d like to propose a better idea.

    We’d like the ability to have default settings for grant letter production, based on the fund. The idea would be that at the fund level, we could specify its grant letter default, either a grant letter or no grant letter. That new field added to funds should be included in bulk edit for funds, so that we can easily establish them. Once…
