  1. I see there are several requests related to separating reimbursements from grants and fees for independent contractors. There is a work out that says we have to go to the GL to indicate if a certain GL should be on 1099. I would prefer to see a field or check box next to each voucher line item that can be checked for 1099. If for instance, consulting GL is marked as 1099, that code can be used to pay different entities including ones who don't need to receive 1099s.

    In CSuite the accounts will remain the main source for recording 1099 expense data.  If you have a line item for a voucher that should not be included in a 1099, it is recommended that you create another account (this could be a sub-account) that is not a 1099 account.  As an example, professional fees subject to 1099 report and a separate account (OR this could be a sub-account) that is professional fees not subject to 1099 report.

  2. It would be very helpful if we could split event campaign ticket payments between two or more profiles. Indivduals and companies sometimes split payment of sponsorship tickets. When this occurs, we have to create additional tickets for these two payments. This also makes reporting on the event more difficult.

  4. We have 800+ funds and only want to promote ~10 of them on our donation page, sorted by group. However, when you click View All Funds, we would love the option to sort by group, not just alphabetically.

  5. I know I can add an expense to a campaign after the voucher is created, but that is an extra step. It would be better to add it to a campaign during the voucher creation process.

  6. Online ticket purchases allow the option for a customer to add a donation on top of the ticket price. However, when you enter a check payment for the ticket, the option to include a donation on top of the ticket is not available.

  7. Can we please have a saved/filtered report name below the actual name of the report? It would be nice and helpful to see what filtered report you are looking at by seeing its name at the top of the page before the filters. Some of our saved/filtered reports are very similar and instead of looking at all 6 filters... it would be easier to see the name of the saved report at the top.

  8. Currently, most of our users do not have access to journal entries in CSuite; however, if they go into the "Files" section, they are able to open the journal entry support that was attached to the JE that they could not access. Due to the sometimes sensitive information, it would be beneficial if we could choose who has access to which file category or if the file is attached to a process/area of CSuite that the user does not have access to, their access to the attached files should also be restricted.

  9. We have one staff member that puts in the vouchers then the accountant reviews them to make sure the fund and account number is correct then posts. It would be nice to see the account number used in the new vouchers screen for quick reference when you post all. Thank you

  10. I know that there are changes coming to the Grant Catalog and I'd like to ask that HTML be built into your back end.
    I'm currently building a catalog with 71 listings. Having to go through each and every summary to add HTML for paragraph breaks, font size and consistency is ridiculous.
    Add to this the time I have to take to learn the HTML code to do something so fancy as add a bullet point.
    I would greatly appreciate formatting choices built right into the system where I could clean up these entries quickly rather than taking days and…

  11. I am having difficulty locating ideas I have shared in Idea Lab. There doesn't seem to be a filter to weed out ideas I've shared vs. ideas I've voted on or commented on. Can we add a filter for this?

    Idea Lab is a product from an outside vendor that Foundant uses to manages feedback.  We do not have the ability to make changes to this product.  There are several filter options directly underneath the search bar.  One of those is titled My Feedback which should give you a list of you ideas, submissions you have voted on or submissions you have commented on.

  12. We transitioned to ACH for our grant payments and currently, grant letters are not generated until our Finance Department "posts" checks. Is there a way that grant letters can be generated when the grant is approved or ready for voucher? It would be nice to have those grant letters ready to be emailed instead of having to wait until the checks are posted and sent for payment.

    We do this on the posted check so that you can include the check information, which only happens once the check is posted.   You can use the Grant award letter if you are wanting to notify the grantee of the grant award. 

  13. Our donors who set up recurring gifts have asked for the online donation portal to include a "Start Date" for the recurring gift as well as an end date.

  14. The Fundstatementemail_body editor needs to work correctly. Right now, the content you create is not formatted in the email the way you write it on the editor. For example, if you put something like the first picture it will show up in an email differently.

    I type it in like this:

    Dear {name},

    Please find attached a Fund Statement for last quarter. Please let us know if you have any questions or if you need anything.

    Best regards,

    Crewe Foundation

    When the email is sent the message shows up as one line. It looks really bad, kind of…

  15. This is similar to another idea that has been submitted regarding being able to void checks that have not cleared, but they system should require checks to go in sequential order as a disbursement control.

  16. Before entering something in the Idea Lab, I try to confirm if the topic has been entered. This search would be more efficient if the results only included ideas that have NOT been implemented. Is there a way to do that and I'm not seeing it?

    Idea Lab is a third party platform that Foundant uses to gather feedback on its products.  Foundant is not in control of the ability to hide ideas with different status.  You can select status and filter to only proposed, planned, etc.  We do see the benefit in being able to search implemented and archived ideas.

  18. When generating a yearly tax receipt for an individual donor, please list the years available in some kind of order - most recent at the top would be preferential but ANY order would be helpful. Right now, they're all mixed up with no rhyme or reason.

  19. Please add organizations that are listed on the Southern Poverty Hate Group list to the Charity Check in CS so that if they are on the list, it will not pass the charity check (similar to OFAC listing). This would be super helpful!!

  20. Has Foundant / C Suite looked into Zeffy as a option for credit card processing? Zeffy offers no fees on credit card processing for nonprofits. It gives donors the option to donate also to Zeffy to help offset the cost of the service.
