  1. Copied task from an idea that was flagged "implemented" ... it is not implemented!

    It would be really nice if tasks could be tied to profiles, funds, grants, etc. and if they could show up like notes do (or at least having that option for them to show up). We are used to the "contacts" tab in FIMS which both informed the team of communications between donors and staff as well as provided an option to follow up if necessary. Thanks

  2. Please can you revisit the idea of allowing tax receipt to be sent to multiple contacts on a profile even when sending in bulk. Please also give us the possibility to have a copy of the communication sent to our system email.

  4. It would be helpful if we could nest one opportunity within another. For instance, we use an Opportunity to track our relationships with BIPOC donors, focusing on engagement rather than immediate fundraising goals. It would be ideal to add this relationship-building Opportunity under a larger, overarching Opportunity, such as New Fund or Legacy Society.

  6. Instead of having two separate "entries" for a donation when a donor is covering the CC fees, it would be great for those two numbers to be combined and show as one donation. When this process generates two donations, i.e., $500 donation and $23.50 in credit card fees, when you run a report for the Fund Advisor to update them on the number of donations that the Fund received, the number is not accurate because it is counting some of donations as two.

    This just released today..This should help with the reporting.

    6/11/2025:Custom Reports: Added a new "CC Fee Donation" boolean field to donation reports. This enhancement allows users to easily identify and filter donations where credit card fees were covered. The field is now available as both a report column and a filter option, offering more flexibility when customizing donation reports.

  7. Currently, Grant Catalog only accepts monetary donations to support the needs of Grantees. We would like to propose an additional option allowing donors to contribute essential items, which could then be tracked through the platform. For example, we envision connecting Grantees with local hardware businesses to provide computers and other tangible resources.

  9. Currently the grant notification to grantees includes one default email and the option to manually add a second email notice. Is it possible to allow us to have a second default email load rather than adding manually. We have a number of grantees who have two people they want to receive a notice and it is not conducive to have to always remember to add the second person.

  10. My idea is for the donor portal. When a donor advisor submits a grant, it would be super helpful for the "short name" of the fund to populate on the Grant Request page that we use to process the grant. The fund name populates but we use the short name when processing through payables to pay the grant. We have several donors who have more than one fund and this would take human error out of the process.

  11. We hold a paid program for executive directors for other local nonprofits every other year. We use C-Suite's Invoices to invoice the nonprofits. For those nonprofits that pay by credit card, the transaction ends up in Donations. It would be great to link their "donation" to their open invoice.

    In the new portal, a profile will be able to pay an invoice by credit card with the customer tab enabled. This could eliminate this problem. To apply a credit card payment to an invoice, it must be a profile payment, not a donation.

  12. Could you please add a Documents/Resources tab to the new non-Fund Advisor portal. We would use this tab to post announcements and news of our initiatives that these donors may not see otherwise.

  13. It would add so much to our internal workflow if permissions allowed us to specify access to custom fields on each record type. For example, we track succession plans as a custom field on the fund record. Our fund liaisons want to be able to edit those selections if/when a fundholder changes them. However we cannot give them access to edit the custom field on the fund record without them having full access to edit a fund record (which we do not want).

  16. We are using opportunities and opportunity tasks to help with reporting on development activities. This often requires creating an number of tasks to detail some of the ongoing activities in a more dynamic way than is offered by a recurring task.

    I would love to see a new function in opportunities to add a "Task Flow" which would add a list of tasks and time frames at once. These flows could be custom designed for different development activities in an ideal world and could even further follow advanced logic if built out completely.

  17. The option to auto tax receipt based on the donation amount would be very beneficial as not every single small donation needs a tax receipt. This would be a setting in the donations settings that allows for the inputting of an amount and should that threshold be reached, then the donation or event ticket receipt would be automated. Otherwise, it would have to be manually processed.

  18. After importing pledges into CSuite users are unable to bulk post all of the pledges listed in the new bucket. This requires the user to click into each pledge & then post. This requires additional setup time when working with a high volume of pledges.

  19. If the donor fails to enter anything in the 'Whom to notify' area, the donation will result as a non-notify tribute. As the donor as elected not to notify the tribute, we are unable to modify and link to an established tribute.

    We have chosen NOT to display our tribute names to the portal for several reasons. Now that CSuite assumes that if someone enters a Tribute name without notify contact information, that means the donor does not want to send a notification. However we are finding that the donor may have simply not known who to notify.

  20. When using an Opportunity Template, the only option is to print the letters, there's no option to email them. Please incorporate the option to email letters in batch (all records selected from the listing of open opportunities) for Opportunities.
